Hi @Pramod What are you trying to do? What is the question? What is your current result? nothing is clear from your post.
-
Hi @JeffArmstrong I would recommend you to simply use Jira with basic http rest api calls, without any 3rd party library. And you will not have any issue
-
Hi @Jyotsna Chimakurthi Try to change: def epicLinkCf = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectsByName("Epic Link").first() To: def epicLinkCf = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName("Epic Link") also, make sure you have the "Epic Link" field in the issue it fails on...

Hi @Max Mustermann Can you share your entire pom.xml content? also, try to use updated versions: Replace 4.0.0 with 5.2.4 Replace 2.6.1 with 5.0.0
-
Hi @Suzanna Bryon Yes, It might not fully convert exactly as expected
-
Hi @Michael.Leibovitch2 Please share the HTML string you are trying to convert and your code where you tried to use it
-

Hi @CRS123456 That's because your automation is wrong. You should use it with "schedule" as @Bill Sheboy suggested.
-
Hi @CRS123456 check in your "rule details" (top left) make sure this rule configured for all projects and not specific project
-
Hi @Bill Sheboy That's right, but @CRS123456 doesn't want it to be run on schedule, he wants it to run on transition change, and there is no option to do it on transition change.
-
Hi @CRS123456 i looked further into this. This can't be exactly perform as you whish in Jira Server (in cloud they have this feature). What you can do int Server is the following But this will send you 1 email for each issues found in the JQL (and not 1 emails with all issues in it) So i think that eventually it will…
-
Hi @CRS123456 It's ok, you can add "Log" action anywhere you want in the automation process. Simply click to add new action and choose "Log Action" (not "Log work") :)
-
i think the email is fine, also, you say you get 1 issue in the email, i think if the problem was the email you would have get nothing... try to add "log" step and log your JQL result, than see what the logs print
-
@CRS123456 your automation seems to be ok. Did you check just your JQL, does it return all the issues you want? Does your issue is in the JQL step or the email step? Can you share a screenshot of the email step too?
-
Hi @Lukas No, it's not possible with Automation. However, you can do it with ScriptRunner Behaviours or by writing a custom script
-
I'm pretty sure it can be done in automation, just let me know about the field and I will try to tell you how to implement it.
-
Hi @CRS123456 does "Full Name" field is a free text field or user picker field?
-
This is required a lot of digging and tests. But basically, Reindex is a task, so you can use this JAVA API: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/7.2.2/com/atlassian/jira/task/TaskManager.html to search over all tasks and if there is a "reindex" running, and if yes then cancel it. However, I think it's not a…
-
Hi @valix85 Use the JAVA library for JQL, and perform a JQL search in your JAVA code with the details you want to reduce the amount of the resutls.
-
Hi @Ivana Srebrenova Have you ever created a plugin for Jira? Are you familiar with the Atlassian SDK and all Jira JAVA components and how plugin pom.xml works? If not, you better first try the Atlassian guide for developers. If you do, then simply create a button component wherever you want and attach a JS to it, the JS…
-
There must be JAVA API for this, just need to keep searching until you find it. or, you can try to use this REST API: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/8.14.1/#api/2/reindex
-
Hi @JordanJ I didn't check it myself, but i think what you are looking for is: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/7.0.9/com/atlassian/jira/issue/index/IssueIndexManager.html
-
Hi @Fabio Silva This is not exactly an open-source. What I meant is, if you use one of my packages you can view the package content with your IDE (like visual studio) Anyway, I made a package for C# https://www.nuget.org/packages/Html2JiraMarkup/
-
Hi @vivekrao_k You will have to contact Atlassian directly for this question. Any answer you will receive here will not be official for/by Atlassian.
-
Hi @[deleted] You have a build-in option for this. To your api add ?expand=renderedFields, like this: "{url}/rest/api/2/issue/{key}?expand=renderedFields" and the API will return new section "renderedFields", all fields will there as HTML
-
Hi @Andrew Hines (!) Sorry, but i'm not familiar with PowerShell
-
Hi @Anandraj Rajaram Sorry for keeping you waiting for nothing. Eventually, i will not create a Java library, i tried to, but found myself too long around it, so decided to let it go. You can however look at the implementation i did in one of the exiting packages, and try to do the same in Java
-
Hi @Anandraj Rajaram I will try to find some free time and create library for Java too. i will update with link once i'm done
-
as far as i know, there is no way to update Jira ticket without history...

Hi @Sesegma Tsydypova I tried this code: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.event.issue.IssueEvent import com.atlassian.jira.event.type.EventDispatchOption import com.atlassian.jira.issue.MutableIssue def issueManager = ComponentAccessor.getIssueManager() MutableIssue issue =…
