Hey @Glenell Rosburg, one block with else-if is what I meant, so that part's fine, and thanks for ruling out a second rule. Your scope answer gives me another idea. The setting Trudy asked about sits in the rule's details panel (Atlassian now calls it Flow details, the same panel where you rename the rule), as a checkbox…

Hi Davide, I couldn't find that "Retry read net message" stall documented anywhere, including Atlassian's public bug tracker, so I can't point you at a known fix, but the setup doc does suggest where I'd start. The Agent IP Range is described as the range "that will be checked for available Discovery-Agents", so the tool…

Hi Gianluca, since the entries are still there and the All tab shows the old and new values, the change is stored correctly and it's the History tab's display that's dropping them, so I'd treat it as a bug and not something in your configuration. The data itself is safe. I looked through Atlassian's public tracker this…

Hi Brian, the exact 3-to-1 ratio makes me suspect a unit difference and not a wrong value. As far as I know, Jira doesn't keep "3d" as days; it converts the estimate into an amount of time using the Working hours per day setting under Time tracking, which is usually 8, so your 3d is stored as 24 hours. If the gadget then…

Hey @yaron, that sounds like a good plan, and I'd be curious how the JQL condition version behaves on your two sites. If it also sits at In Progress while the field quietly updates, I'd add that detail to AUTO-2095 together with both site names, because it would show the group check itself isn't what holds the execution…

Hi Glenell, before you simplify any further, I tested an If/else block yesterday with two else-if branches whose conditions both matched the same work item, and only the first matching branch ran, so I doubt tighter conditions inside one block will stop the second story. Two separate blocks did both run in my test, so if…

Hi Maria, I'd build it almost the way you describe, with one change to how the reminder avoids firing twice. On the schema, I usually decide by who owns the data. Assets permissions sit at schema level, so if a procurement or software-asset team maintains licenses while IT looks after hardware, a separate schema keeps…

Hi Andrew, I looked for a setting that would make the extension pick up the new tab mid-chat and couldn't find one. The browser extension doc only describes the "Use current tab as context" toggle, where Rovo reads the active tab when you ask it to, and it says chat persists as you move around the web. Nothing in it says…

Hi Yaron, I rebuilt the same shape on a test site today, Assignee change into an If/else with a User condition "is in group" and then an edit to a custom field, and each run finished within a couple of seconds on both branches, so I don't think the User condition on its own is what hangs. Next I'd check whether the custom…

Hi Lucas, I think I can explain why your original query kept firing, because I ran into the same thing when I tried it. statusCategoryChangedDate only moves when the status category changes, and in the default JSM workflow Waiting for customer, Waiting for support and Pending usually all sit in the same In Progress…

Hi Allen, Your four tables aren't gone. They're wrapped inside that nested-table block as escaped data, so the quickest way for you to get them back is page history rather than rebuilding them. Open ••• > Version history, tick the last version from before the edit and the one after it, use Compare selected versions to…

Hi Alyson, I rebuilt this on a company-managed test site today, and once the user had the Set work item security permission, the native Security Level field on a transition screen did save and the validator saw the level you picked on the screen, so on your side I'd suspect either the permission, something acting on the…

Hi Azer, Since your link points to your own alizade9597 site, I'd guess it's the Free site that was deactivated for inactivity rather than your Atlassian account itself, and in that case Atlassian's reactivation doc says the data is retained for 15 days after deactivation, so I'd act on it today. Don't wait on this one. As…

Hi Andre, What you're describing lines up closely with JRASERVER-79028, an open bug where Jira Data Center doesn't run the user reindex at startup when JMX monitoring is disabled, and it's listed as affecting 10.4 through several 11.3.x releases with no fix version yet. Without that reindex the user searcher isn't…

Hi Abilash, Matteo's right on the tickets, and I checked it on a test site today by pulling a suspended user out of their group, where their tickets still showed them as assignee and a JQL search on them returned the same count before and after. What does need some care when you strip groups is everything else that still…

Hey @Wali Khan, yes, the keys are the annoying part, and I'd feel the same after a couple of sprints. The automation route is the one that takes that upkeep away, because you'd label the work instead of listing it. Two rules, set up once. You'd set up one rule on Sprint started that branches over the stories in the sprint…

Hi Xenia, The ticket Arek linked is the reason you've been going in circles, and it isn't anything you're doing wrong. In a team-managed space the subtasks show the parent's sprint on the issue, but sprint JQL doesn't match on that value, so sprint in openSprints() only returns the parents. I reproduced it on a test site…

Hi Michael, From what I've read you can. Atlassian's admin page for it doesn't tie it to any plan, and work types aren't on the list of Free plan limits (that's permissions, roles and work-level security), though I haven't tried it on a Free site myself. In a company-managed space you'd go to Settings > Work items > Work…

Hi Miguel, The structure move I'd make first is nesting: pages nest into categories and subcategories under one main parent per topic, with standard labels written on the space overview so everyone applies the same ones. Folders are plain containers, and deleting one moves its children up a level, so they don't replace…

Hi Daniel, Your rule itself isn't the problem, because copy the card to another board and link the cards together is the same pair of actions Atlassian's own docs use for a one-way sync between boards. The one warning those docs carry is that an automation's action can set off another automation and loop. As far as I can…

Hey Aris, thank you, that made my morning :) On where to run it, you'll need a Mac with Apple Silicon, because these are MLX builds. The 4-bit one is about 15 GB on disk, so a 24 GB machine runs it, the 8-bit wants roughly 32 GB free, and if you've got a Mac like that, LM Studio is the least fuss, you drop the folder in…

Hey Stephen, glad it landed, and Premium makes this a real option for you. On the final step, the piece you want is the Data Manager import inside your Assets schema, which points at a saved search in Data Manager rather than at the data source itself, so your People object class becomes a saved search and that import is…

Hey @Kama Kosznik thanks for spelling out what you're running, that helps. No doc says it outright, so here's how I read it for you: Confluence's scheduled trigger can't take a query the way Jira's does, so your CQL has to be a related entities branch, which is a for-each, and the usage doc counts every action that runs as…

Hi Akshad, The tags showing as text isn't the importer getting it wrong, because Jira Cloud doesn't render HTML in the Description field; Atlassian's KB says the field only runs the wiki markup renderer or the default text renderer, and that the HTML has to be converted to one of those first. So no importer will turn your…

Hi Pavan, You don't need Confluence for any of this. The ratio in that sentence counts against your Jira paid seats, so if you hold 40 licensed Jira users you can invite up to 200 guests at no charge. Confluence keeps appearing because the same feature exists there too, not because your Jira guests depend on it in any way.…

Hi Zhenjiang, I read your manual runs succeeding while your pushes do nothing as a useful signal, because it rules out the file being unreadable on Bitbucket's side. Your definition parsed well enough to execute, so I would look at which section you declared the pipeline under rather than at the YAML itself. The first…

Hi Stephen, That reframes it, because the lifecycle problem has a different route than the integration app we were both looking at. Data Manager carries its own Entra ID User data source, and that one runs over an API connection rather than a file, so the CSV export drops out of the picture entirely. It also ships a People…

Hi Klemens, Before you shelve it, I think your example is broader than the bug Arek linked, and that difference is the useful part. JRACLOUD-98637 describes one pair collapsing into itself: asking for "is blocked by" also returns "blocks", so its expected result is "work items which have matching inward or outward…

Hi Stephen, I can't answer the roadmap half, and I'd be wary of anyone who does, because commitment and GA timing are Atlassian's to state rather than ours to infer. What I can give you is the current documented position and one limitation that bears on your design more than a timeline would. The exact status wording…

Hi Daniel, I don't think you're misusing the API, which is the first thing I'd settle. The create-request field reference documents exactly that shape, describing Attachment as "Attachments, using IDs of temporary attachments as provided by the /attachTemporaryFile API", so passing temporary IDs inside requestFieldValues…
