if your Forge app needs to call Atlassian APIs on behalf of a user, you would typically use Forge's built-in auth (requestJira) rather than implementing OAuth 2.0 (3LO) yourself. 3LO is mainly for external applications, not for authenticating a Forge app to Atlassian.

it may be worth raising this as product feedback, being able to associate components with backfilled incidents seems like a reasonable use case

I don't think the native Jira CSV export includes Xray test steps, since those live in Xray rather than standard Jira fields. For that much tests, I'd look at Xray's REST API or any built-in Xray export/reporting options, they're generally the supported way to bulk extract step details and test data.

usually someone else in the room has faced the same issue and can shared what worked and what didn't, so it's great to treat pain points as discussion starters, those discussions are more valuable than a single correct answer

Thank you @Luis Ortiz - Catapult Labs I keep hearing this rule of two everywhere, I shall give it a try.

I got a great deal to buy my work laptop before leaving the company. I bought an M1 Max MacBook with 32GB of memory for 300 dollars or so back in 2022. I still use it today.

Nice use case, I would probably keep the ai generated content as a draft and have the owner review it before publishing, but definitely this could save a lot of time with postmortems, which tend to be very tedious.
-
nice, having smart values surfaced in the editor should make automation a lot more approachable, especially for users like me, who don't remember how to do stuff

I've used to buy these every couple of days from the shop next to the school. They were like 10 cents at that time. Suuper good

For that size, I would spend time on a small pilot before commiting to the full run. Don't forget to validate user mappings, workflow, permissions.
-
cloud migrations often involve edge cases that no one can think about, so this would be a great resource for eveyone, especially for really complex migrations
-
Exactly, there is no dynamic now() function, so calculating a continuously updating filed isn't supported yet
-
If you want to report on it consistently, I would use a dedicated single-select custom field rather than labels. It's more structured, you could even populate it automatically with a jira automation.

We used to do Parking Lots in my previous teams, and we had folks from the team calling out if something went on for a long time to allocate it in the parking lot. I enjoy the format.
-
great points, i would recommend documenting why a permission differs from the standard, that always comes in handy

good luck with the process, I'm not familiar with the rules of becoming a champion but keep making content, helping people, and being active in the community. Those contributions won't go to waste. if you can't apply now, it will compound for an even stronger case, next year

OIDC has become the default for many identity platforms, so it would be great to see this considered
-
I won't be able to attend unfortunately, do you guys see solution composer primarily designed for new service desks from scratch
-
Out of curiosity, is the primary goal documentation for admins, or helping end users understand what a workflow does? the best approach depends on the audience
-
having a single place where I can see what needs attention sounds nice, are there any plans to let users filter or goup agent sessions? It can be hard with many active sessions
-
yep, those are always annoying, watch out for the naming as @Hana Kučerová suggested
-
hopefully someone from atlassian can clear this up, is the worklog limit coming from the mcp or from the underlying jira rest api call?
-
thanks, that's a great decision for a first version
-
Congrats to everyone mentioned, you are the top tier of this awesome and welcoming community
-
I would do a weekly series with cool 3rd party apps that are awesome, showcasing the features and what they do.
-
This is such a cool idea, I often feel lost when using Jira, trying to remember different things like which ticket this was linked to, where did I hear about this ticket recently and so on. It would be cool if Atlassian implemented something like this with their AI initiatives. I think the 3 prototypes you presented are…

This is such a fundamental thing, I don't know why Confluence doesn't have it built in. Cool idea overall, how do you handle edits like whitespaces or basically empty changes? It's a shame confluence doesn't expose the minor edit flag, it would make the product so much stronger. Pretty clever to include a locking mechanism…

Wow, I like the first view where you see everything and the resource panel is very cool as well to see the capacity per team

Wow, Sarajevo looks nice, I must go there sometime I was always very reticent about going to Paris, it was always bashed online about how dirty it is, or how rude the locals are. A few years ago, I got the opportunity to travel there, and it was beyond expectations, and I enjoyed my time there.

I see, thanks for clarifying it
