@Greg D yes watch this space, restricted goals will be rolling out in the next few weeks! At this stage, Goal deletion is coming next quarter/final quarter of this calendar year. Thanks, Charlie

Hi @Gabriel Lences thanks for the question! We've recently shipped the MVP triggers for Goals and Projects and plan to continue adding further triggers, and the first sets of actions over the coming months. It would be great to hear more about the shape of automation you're after and the use cases you're looking to support…

Hi @AMIN EL thanks for your message! Rolling out Goals and Projects The way to think about these different apps is that Jira is where the work gets tracked in detail; Projects is where that work gets communicated outward to other teams and stakeholders; and Goals represent the outcome the work is trying to achieve. A few…

Hi @Laura Blom thanks for your message! I've created this public ticket to track this feature ask: ATLAS-367: The ability to customise Goal and Project statuses and colours It's a great idea and something we have in the backlog, but isn't on the immediate roadmap. Despite that, it's always helpful to learn more about your…

Hi all, thanks so much for all your comments and feedback - it's always appreciated! A couple of updates to share: * Editor permissions are now fully rolled out and available for everyone to use. You can access them via the Share menu on any goal or project. * Restricted Goals is actively in development, and we're aiming…

Hi @Tomas Vaicekauskas, thanks for the question! This update will allow you to configure who can/can't edit/make changes to individual goals and projects. We are working on goal and project access/restrictions at the moment, which will allow you to limit the visibility of select goals and projects to specific users. Note…

Hi all, a quick update - Editor permissions for goals and projects is now generally available and will roll out to all customers over the coming weeks! Thanks for your patience, we're excited to get this in your hands!

Hi @Jan & @Birgit P, thanks for the additional details! We'll be updating the support document to specify a limit of 50 success measures (including archived success measures). I hope that helps, Charlie
-
@Jan thanks for the feedback! Are you able to elaborate on the limit you're finding with the number of success measures? Are you trying to associate >20 success measures with a goal? From speaking with the team, we verified that the limit is beyond 20, so this shouldn't be an issue. Let us know how you go! Thanks Charlie
-
Hi @Matt Richards apologies for the delay. We currently don't have an MCP server implementation for this API. Thanks for your feedback though, this is something we will consider for the future. Thank you, Charlie
-
Hi @Micah Schaafsma, thanks taking the time to share your feedback! Keep an eye on this space, as the Atlassian Goals team is currently developing viewer and editor roles that will enable permission configuration for individual Goals and Projects. This marks the beginning of a series of planned permission and access…

@Craig Duffy by the way, I assume you found the correct link, but if not you can start here: Set up a knowledge base for self-service Best of luck, Charlie

Hi @Craig Duffy Thank you for flagging this, it's much appreciated! Sorry to hear that the link isn't working as intended. I will pass this on to our content design team to have updated. Charlie

Hi @Asan Nayek, Thanks for letting me know. I'm sorry to hear that it's not working for you - I'd suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support so we can try to reproduce what's happening and help troubleshoot it. Charlie

Hi @JTL105 Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, this isn't currently supported with the Jira Issues Macro's single issue view. As you rightly mentioned, it is only able to display the issue type, issue key, summary and status of an issue. I found some public Jira tickets related to this so you could add your vote and…

Hi @John Duckworth Thank you for raising this. The team took a look at this and wasn't able to reproduce it in 8.5.5, and 7.19.18. We tried on Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, as well as a Windows environment, but had no luck. I would suggest upgrading to Confluence 8.5.5 (downloads here), and if you still encounter this…

Hi @endgame_ops Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, the attachment field isn't supported with login-free access. It's an oversight that JSM's documentation doesn't include this in the list of unsupported fields - sorry about that! I will work with the team to have this updated in our docs. We might consider adding…
-
Hi @Asan Nayek Thanks for the question. Have you had any changes to admin permissions for the space you're trying to view? You need Space Admin permissions to customise PDF exports in a space, and Confluence Administrator global permissions to customise PDF exports for the whole site. Related docs: Customise your Space…

Hi @Rob Rehkemper Thanks for the question. As I understand it, you're already a user of canned responses, but some placeholder text is added to the comment field when first opened. Is that right? I don't think canned responses are usually automatically added as placeholder text in the comment field, so something else must…
-
Hi @Graham Tyrie Thanks for the question. As of JSM DC 5.9 you can also share requests with groups, which is one option you could consider looking into. You could then create automation rules to share requests with relevant groups and loop in multiple members of a customer group with minimal effort. Check out this…

Hi @Danny Kwok Thank you for flagging this. Can you please reach out to Atlassian Support so we can try to investigate and replicate the issue you're seeing? Thank you, Charlie

Hi @Briar Pateman thanks for the question. Are you referring to the background photos available in Trello? These are stock photos from Unsplash (you can read more about it here). I hope that helps, Charlie

Hi @Shree Jantre, Thank you for your question. .msg file types are not currently supported for file previews in Confluence Data Center. Please see the public Jira ticket for this suggestion, CONFSERVER-36508. We regularly review the highest-ranking tickets as roadmap candidates so it would be great if you could add your…

Hi @Justin Warwick, Thank you for your question! At this point, we don't have plans to bring boards to Jira Service Management Data Center. In saying that, we're always considering new projects for JSM DC's future roadmap. Please share your use case and vote on the following public Jira ticket to help us keep track of…

Hi @Ryan Audino thank you for the question! What do you mean by "disinheriting" pages in the new space? Is this question for Confluence Cloud or Data Center? If it's for Data Center, please have a look at the documentation on copying spaces for more information. Thanks, Charlie

Great to hear @Gerald Schneider, thanks for letting me know! Take care, Charlie

Hi @dearjane_fan, It's also worth saying that there are a significant number of functional improvements you will benefit from by upgrading Confluence: * 7.19 LTS > 8.5 LTS * 7.13 LTS > 7.19 LTS * 7.4 LTS > 7.13 LTS * 6.7 > 6.13 LTS Your 5.x upgrade is likely to involve the most effort as you will need to first move…
