Hi @Lena Wong My experience was mostly with Data Center. We created a working group involving test managers, test leads and testers for common understanding on their requirement, usage and additional features, proposed changes they are looking for. To answer some of yours To organise: Create a common standard requirement…

Hi @Said Bennaceur Welcome. You're going to be great. Keep staying curious. See Agile practices this will help a lot. Quick advice from myself * Limit your WIP (Work in Progress). Focus on moving one task to Done before pulling in the next. * Mistake to Avoid: Treating the Daily Standup like a status report. It’s actually…

Hi @Luka László It looks like you are hitting a known issue : Known Issue reported An Alternative: Bitbucket MCP If the native Cloud Agent/Bugbot integration continues to loop, you can bypass the dashboard entirely and hook Bitbucket context directly into Cursor using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). See Integrating…

Hi @Sonal Malik It's a Aha moment. Personally, I would like to keep accounts separate. While this feature is cool, it is far too hidden. * The Problem: Many users and admins confuse linking with merging and out of fear of mixing corporate and personal data, they resort to inefficient workflows (like constant sign-outs or…

Glad it worked. Best wishes with the exam

Hi @Koloman Pfeffer Spot on. You're right and you spoke other Confluence SME's mind. See these : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-81227 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-76428 https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-80002 Hope we all get this answered soon. My personal opinion: I love Confluence,…

Hi @Vinod M I don't think so possible by native. I would recommend you try with script runner first or JMWE. You can evaluate on trial version if you don't them.
-
hi @Vinod M Partially yes, but not natively in the same way as Cloud. Data Center automation can handle multi-select values with smart values and branching, but a true "create one issue per selected option” loop is usually better done with a marketplace apps like script runner or JMWE.

Hi @Lena Wong You can refer to this article - https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Automation-articles/Navigating-Test-Execution-Workflows-A-Beginner-s-Guide-to-Jira/ba-p/2606780 additionally https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAY770/pages/48956090/Integrations could be handy. Hi @Mohamed Ibrahim Losing 2FA is stressful. But by losing what do you mean? How you reconfigure things depends on whether you have cloud sync enabled. * You got a new phone and sync turned on? then Google Authenticator automatically backs up and syncs your 2FA tokens to your Google Account. * Are you locked out of your…

Hi Jira admins, A heartfelt thank you to every Jira admin who keeps the work moving behind the scenes. You keep so much work moving quietly in the background. Thank you for being the steady force behind smoother teamwork.

Hi @Karl from Ricksoft Strong and timely article. It highlights a real governance risk in Jira and makes a clear case that permission settings alone can create a false sense of security. The key takeaway is to treat Jira access as a control issue, app governance issue and not just an admin setting, and to review public…

Hi @Anwesha Pan Sorry to hear that. I tried the course, it was Okay for me. Can you try other browser ? May be try mobile browser as well?

No. Entra ID can be the common identity provider for Atlassian Cloud and Teams, but Atlassian Cloud does not natively accept a generic Entra ID access token as a bearer token for its REST APIs. You need an Atlassian-supported API authentication mechanism, typically Atlassian OAuth 2.0, API tokens for appropriate use cases,…

Hi @Vamsi Krishna BS See below * Ownership:* It depends on the email domain. If the account uses a corporate email and you have verified that domain in your Atlassian Organization, the company owns it (Managed Account). If it's a personal email the individual owns the account itself. * Legal Implications: * Work product…

I hear you. May be version bug with source tree. If you managed to contact Atlassian support and get advise, share the wisdom.

Hi @Dmitrii Iashin You might want to see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ACCESS-2255 and https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ACCESS-1401 It looks like without Atlassian Guard, you can’t do it, so the attempt fails. May be a known case and I recommend you to contact Atlassian support.

Hi @HenryRawas curious to hear if OAuth helped? Did you raise a support ticket?

Thank you @Mohammed Shakhib Grateful to be recognised and thank you community to provide that space and opportunity.

hi @Hardik Babbar Similar thread - https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Atlassian-Remote-MCP-Server/atlassian-searchJiraIssuesUsingJql-server-side-validation-issue/td-p/3262391 did you hear from Atlassian?

Hi @Stephan Best If there isn't Atlassian entry adding a new work or school account won't recreate it. Atlassian's two-step verification uses a standard TOTP secret that is only available when MFA is first configured. Unless you still have the original QR code or setup key, it can't be added manually. You'll need an…
-
Hi @Vinay Chougule Seems an expected behaviour. If your goal is zero user interaction, there isn't currently an out-of-the-box way to achieve this. I couldn't find any feature request in Atlassian. May be, good to check with Microsoft first.
-
Hi @Stephan Best Sorry to hear that. Looks like a MFA lockout situation. Unfortunately, there is no self-service way to generate a new recovery key if: * You no longer have access to your authenticator app. * Your recovery key is lost or invalid. * SMS verification isn't available or loops back to MFA. The recovery key is…

Yep, correct. The visibility comes through being taking ownership and being accountable.

Yay, good news. Thank you for the summary :)

Hi @Michele Ghirxi This is by design and is expected behaviour. Just for your references, you can rename the keys (old project to something else and new project to your expected) but the migrated issues will still keep their new numbers. If you like to retain the Jira software project, you can create a new custom field…

Hi @Tuncay Senturk _Snapbytes_ Nice one and well put. Establishing ownership rules, triage, accountability, using controls and automation - all these adds value. Its basics, discipline. In short, every Jira issue should have an owner, priority, and a clear path to resolution. An unassigned issue is a process that needs…
