Ah, I see. And would it remove watchers form any subtasks recently created in Jira altogether, or just those created from this specific transition? I'm also looking into playing around with the executing user for each specific CoT transition. That would, in theory, work -- but it's failing to produce sub-task issuetypes…

Hi @PD Sheehan, yes I was running into that same scenario. I re-ordered it in every which way on the Create transition to no avail. For adding it to the Create sub-task post-function on the Task, the only problem is that the post-function to create those sub-tasks is actually Bob-Swift CoT, and not Scriptrunner. Will I…

Thank you, Pavel!

Thanks for the insights, Andrew. Really appreciate it.

Hey Joshua Yamdogo @ Adaptavist and @Bojana Vasic , Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but we're attempting to do this same thing here, and Comment in still hidden from the assign issue screen. We have not tried adding a log.debug statement yet, but just wanted to first see if you learned the solution here. Thanks so much!…

Cool! Thanks, Nic. I'll give it a go. Cheers, Andrew

I am also interested in this topic. Thanks.

Hey, @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-, Finally got around to testing this: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor def customFieldManager = ComponentAccessor.customFieldManager def customField = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjects(issue)?.find { it.id == "12345" } return(long)…

Awesome; thanks for the notes, Nic. I'll try this out in a Staging instance ASAP and report back. The script I had was returning a "Cannot find matching method java.lang.Object#size()" error and I couldn't figure it out. Plus, this script you've provided is way cleaner. I'll follow up with any questions soon. Cheers, Andrew

Hi Janaki, As far as I can tell, you cannot limit the implementation to only a few Spaces. However, you can enable activation of the add-on to specific user groups. You may want to double check with the Stilt Soft folks to confirm your question about Space activation of the…

Darn, I'm not seeing errors to debug, but it also is only returning a 0 or null when I preview it. I took this whole line out to see if the problem was the extra condition or something else, but it was still just returning 0. && !linkedIssue.resolution.name in (["Declined", "Deprecated"]) Let me know if you have any other…

Peter, Thanks so much for your help. I'll try this out and follow up. Cheers, Andrew

Hi Peter, Apologies, but I don't have much experience with groovy. Would your suggested block replace my entire script, or amend a certain part of it? Thanks. Best, Andrew
-
I'll try it out!

Noted. Makes sense! And you're on to me. I was hoping to set up an event handling notification in Riada's Notification Assistant, based on the script field change. Thanks for all the insight, @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- -Andrew
-
Got it. Thanks, @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- ! That makes sense. So, set a Listener for an event that would be triggered from the field edit that actually causes a change in value of the Script field. And then, condition that Listener to only fire a new event if true/upon specific values of the Script field?
-
Awesome, thanks for all of your help - @Alejandro Suárez García, one more question for now. Do you know if this will work if field B is a Script Field itself? (It's a scripted date field). Essentially, it adds "Field A" (a number field) to "Field C" (a date field), applies Field A as "business days" and spits out "Field B"…
-
Thank you @Alejandro Suárez García! In the area where you wrote {{11111L}}, is that where I would input the field name of "Custom Field B"?
-
Hi Jennifer, thanks for this post!

Yes, it seems that rebuilding the search index, solved this issue.
-
Would rebuilding the search index within the Admin General Config settings be a possible solution here?
-
Thanks for the help, though, Davin! I appreciate the thoughtful and thorough advice.

Hi Steve, Thanks for your help and response! We're using the Content Formatting tabs. I tested this out after posting this question, and indeed, adding a web fragment to the link as you proposed worked in most cases. However, some users have Tab containers and pages within a different Tab page. We've had trouble linking…

Got it - thanks Davin! I appreciate the quick help and info here.

Hi Shari, You're totally right! We do indeed use No Email Storm. Thanks for the quick response. I appreciate the help. Best, Andrew
-
Brant, Right on. Thanks! Yes, we'll definitely plan to test this out in a staging/development instance before purchasing. Thanks for your thoughts. Cheers, Andrew
-
Whoops I realized this should be a Question and not a Post. I've now asked a Question formatted the correct way. Disregard this post. Sorry!
-
Copy that; thanks Brant!

Thanks, Brant! I gave that a go and it seemed to work. Do you know if there's a way to see pages that have over a certain number of Jira macros in use? Thanks again for this help! Best, Andrew
