  • @Angie Affolter great question. Restores are to to an empty production site or sandbox, and from there one needs to move the data over manually. We’re looking to evaluate paths of streamlining the granular recovery eg, for space. We will be sure to engage the community when we get there.
  • @Italo _Modus Create_ I hear the suggestion on "backups for a certain date range" to be included for free, thanks for raising it.
  • @Tomislav Tobijas thank you for your comment. Backup and Restore is an add-on for apps on Premium and Enterprise tiers, not included by default. Atlassian Marketplace backup apps remain an option allowing you to evaluate and see what meets your needs.
  • @Shawn Stevens, thank you for sharing. The intent here is to cover customer-owned disasters (bulk-deletions, corruption, etc.), which is different from Atlassian's platform disaster recovery that is included. Since you were in the open beta, you have time through April, to test the restore flow end-to-end before you make a…
  • Hi @chihara, Yes, the support documentation has been updated from 10 to 5. The number of Sandboxes included in your entitlement for apps on an Enterprise plan is 5. As long as you're within that limit, you can use them across any sites associated with that Enterprise plan. Sandboxes are transient in nature and can be…
  • Hi @Fernando M Calvo García, I appreciate the candor. We recognize that this may introduce friction for customers using more than 5 Sandboxes. To mitigate the immediate impact, we are providing a transition period until March 31, 2026. Our goal is to ensure that Sandboxes are being used as efficiently as possible, and to…
  • Thank you, @David Cowley. We understand that changes like these can be challenging, especially when it comes to planning around costs and licenses. All Open Beta customers will have access to 10 app Sandboxes per app on an Enterprise plan until March 31, 2026. We appreciate your participation in the beta and your help in…
  • Hi @Suraj Aderogba, for Enterprise customers with more than five Sandboxes, we're providing a grace period until March 31, 2026, to reduce their Sandbox usage or purchase additional Sandboxes. We're also providing some incentives as a thank you for their participation in the Open Beta over the last year. Regarding value,…
  • Hi @Robert DaSilva and @Mathew Lederman, I see the confusion is the distinction between Sandbox sites and app sandboxes, and how these new limits affect those things. The new limit is on app sandboxes, NOT sandbox sites. So, for example, if you have Jira and Confluence both on an Enterprise plan, you'll get 5 app sandboxes…
  • Hi @Paul Pasler _Seibert_, all Runs on Atlassian Marketplace apps that are installed for free on a sandbox will be excluded from your Forge consumption bill. For Forge Remote, we're adding visibility to Sandbox driven usage so you, our partners, can easily spot patterns and set limits when needed. For more details, please…
  • Hi @Jaime Escribano _knowmad mood_,I completely understand where you're coming from, and my response here will be similar to what I mentioned to Matthew above, focusing on where we're heading. The Sandboxes we provide today are full Sandboxes and are given the same resources as a production site in some cases. Many of you,…
  • Hi @Antonio Valle _G2_, When you purchase a collection, all of the apps within that collection share the same tier of plan, i.e., Premium or Enterprise. So, if you purchase the Teamwork Collection on an Enterprise plan, you'll receive 5 app sandboxes for every supported app in the collection, i.e., 5 Jira and 5 Confluence…
  • @carl, this is spot on, and it’s exactly our goal to streamline the changes across Dev-> Test -> Prod. Also, take a look at our Sandbox config deployment, now in closed beta as it is another step in this direction. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts.
  • Hi @ADM Thijs, I appreciate your bringing this up.For hybrid setup your understanding is correct. Premium tier licenses are site based and don’t let us pool sandboxes across multiple sites. We will definitely take your feedback into consideration in the future.
  • Thank you @Sebastian Wigge. We explored offering a second Sandbox to all Premium plans; however, it wasn't viable due to several factors. That being said, we wanted to ensure that Premium-tier customers could benefit, rather than gating the feature to just Enterprise and forcing a customer to upgrade if they needed just a…
  • Thanks for sharing your feedback, @Mathew Lederman. In your scenario, i.e., twelve sandboxes (five Jira, five Confluence, and two Jira Service Management), if you have three Enterprise plans - one each for Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management - you'd get five sandboxes for each product built into the plan with no…
