Hi @Shantharam , Have you tried zooming to selection? You mention expecting there to be a starting row and column like a spreadsheet, but are you perhaps thinking of a Confluence database? A whiteboard is by definition a big empty space, with no preset content like table rows or columns.

Hi @Sharif yt and welcome to Community. You mention trying Automation for Jira as a third party add-on, which is the case for Jira on premise, but not for Cloud (where it's integrated in the product). Are you by chance using Jira and Confluence Data Center?

Hi @Emanuelwilliam and welcome to Community. You might find some inspiration in this article I wrote with some of my favorite features and tips about Confluence: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-articles/My-favorite-Confluence-tips/ba-p/2982184 I would say Atlassian AI & Rovo are pretty much solving the…

Hi @Michael Lui , the technical and billing admin for Atlassian instances get emails when the billing period arrives, as well as notifications from Atlassian for various topics. If you use any Marketplace apps, the technical contact probably has received emails from the vendors. Who in your organization is getting the…

Hi @Matthew Cichon and welcome to Community! If you want a custom website to be available to Rovo, you (or your Confluence admins) need to connect it first. Check out this documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/connect-custom-website-to-rovo/ I'll add my company is trying to do this…

Great question @Tatiana Torset I agree with everything @Mia Tamm _Simpleasyty_ mentioned. Confluence is a great tool for sharing and collaborating on ideas. Definitely take a moment to think about how you want to structure & organize the content (use the folder feature, or parent pages). The overview page for a space is a…

Hi @Oliver Regueiro and welcome to Community! Try going to https://admin.atlassian.com/ to see which Confluence instances you have an admin role for. Otherwise, it might be helpful to include a screencapture of the message you're seeing so Community users can have more clues about what might be happening.

Hi @EveO'Mahoney and welcome! I wrote up an article a while ago about my favorite features in Confluence, and it might help you discover more ways of using Confluence https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-articles/My-favorite-Confluence-tips/ba-p/2982184 I also have become a big fan of Confluence Automation,…

I think the phrasing gives the wrong impression that there's some push notifications going on, when adding users here is just setting permissions. But I haven't used JPD published views enough to be 100% sure.
-
Hi @Jay Sharma and welcome to Community! Like Marc suggested, you should reach out to an Atlassian Partner near you. They will be most suited to answering your questions and helping you potentially get started with JSM.
-
@Chisato Saito From my experimentation, no-code Rovo agents aren't able to find Confluence templates. You could potentially do this with a Rovo agent built using Forge or with Confluence/Jira APIs. What may meet your needs to publish information from a Jira issue to a Confluence page could actually be an existing…
-
@shankara vijayendran You should be able to use smart values to get the issue key and summary. I was able to use them to get the page title in an Automation rule with Confluence that I detailed…
-
Hi @rohan.satpute and welcome to Community! This is a public form where volunteer fellow users of Atlassian products help each out. If you started a trial of Jira Standard a few weeks ago but did not provide billing information, at the end of the trial period, your instance is downgraded to the free level. This means you…
-
Hi @Ameer Salman and welcome to Community! Couple questions first: why do you need to generate new workflows dynamically? You have very different processes for working on tasks that are constantly being generated? Workflows are the way you structure how tasks will move from "to do" to "done", and while you may need…
-
Hi @Muhammad Sameer and welcome to Community. Your answer seems a bit... LLM-y. Have you actually tried out any of your suggestions? They don't seem to respond to the original question.
-
Hi @brandon williams Are you by chance using Comala Document Management's send email macro https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649924039/send-email+macro ? I'll admit I haven't been using Confluence DC for a couple years now, and I can't quite visualize what you mean when talking about the entry.POC. Could…
-
Hi @pb254 and welcome to Communtiy! It sounds like you are using Atlassian Intelligence Writing Assistant to create your Jira work item description, is that correct? Do you have a list of your test scenarios outside of Jira? If so, have you tried just copying & pasting them into your table? What about your scenarios…

Ok, I don't think anyone on Community is going to be able to help solve your problem without looking at the source code of your in-house plugin. Would you be open to getting 3rd party help? If so, I could make a recommendation about an Atlassian Partner that could support you with updating your app.
-
Hi @Sheba Satan and welcome to Community, This is a public forum where volunteers help answer each others' questions. We can't help you with what you've provided so far. Can you specify what you need help with and what you have already tried?
-
Hi @Sathish R and welcome to Community, The Confluence admin is someone working at your company, probably on the IT team. You will need to ask your colleagues to figure out who is the admin. If you have an internal IT support portal, you can potentially get in contact with the right person on the IT team by raising a…
-
Hi @Dabin Daniel Sundaram , Have you tried contacting the support for the plugin? If you go to the Marketplace listing for the app, you can find the link for how to get support from the partner making the plugin.
-
Hi @Polen Yetkin and welcome to Community! You can confirm the pricing for any app by consulting the pricing tab on the Atlassian Marketplace. The prices displayed correspond to what you will pay after the trial period. If the app is free for up to 10 users, this means as long as your instance does not go above the user…

I'll just add to @Rajat Pratap Singh 's answer that Public links work page by page, whereas guest users are added to a space. If you only need to share a small number of specific pages, Public links are a good option. If you want to share many pages and make sure any new content is easily available, guest access is the way…

Hi @Bimal.Viswam and welcome to Community. Atlassian AI tool Rovo currently has a beta running for a connector to Jira DC. This would allow you to make information in your Jira DC available for Rovo. Check out the details here https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/connect-jira-data-center-to-rovo/

Hi @peter.brauer1 Have you tried setting up a Confluence Automation rule? You will need to find the correct smart value for the value in the page properties, but once you have that it should work. I wrote an article sharing how I set up an Automation to create a page using a template and customizing the page…
-
Hi @503429488 and welcome to Community. Confluence Data Center doesn't offer folders like Confluence Cloud. You can mimic the effect by putting content under a parent page that doesn't have any content (or perhaps just the child page macro). To move content from one space to another, first verify you have delete…
-
Hi @Chisato Saito , what information or content are you trying to populate the page with? For example, are you trying to use information from a Jira issue, or maybe analysis or a summary based on work done on other pages/Jira issues (like a project status update), or maybe from a Loom video? If you have already built your…
-
HI @Christy Plommer Blueprints were the name used for templates on Confluence on premise (Server and Data center), so not relevant for Confluence Cloud. What about using Confluence Automation and/or Rovo to create your page using the template and calculating the dates? I wrote up an explanation of what I did over…

@Tess Baird Rob Hean leads a lot of the Community Led Trainings on Confluence, but he also regularly posts on YouTube, so you should check out his channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Hean-Tech

@Przemysław Ferkaluk What do you like about using the form for people to create work items in a project versus having them using the regular Create experience? If the people creating tasks through the form have access to the projects to later track the progress, add comments, etc, they clearly have permissions on the…
