@Chris Stamm If you are not against using Excel for Xray test data analysis, you can give Better Excel Exporter a try. The app is integrated with Xray and comes with templates for Xray as well as pre-built reports to analyze your test run data. See some Xray Excel report samples here. If you think you need further…

@Tim , If you mean Better Excel Exporter, the cloud version is not available yet, but its planned. If you are interested please vote (give thumbs-up) on this feature request and leave a comment. On Server/Data Center, you are able to export Zephyr Test related custom fields to Excel including the Test steps.
-
Hi @Janne Kekonen To my best knowledge, in Zephyr, a Test is an issue type. So the test description is the description field of the issue which also can be exported! You are right that the Zephyr sample export images or other samples don't show that because that's not typical to export to Excel, but it's possible.
-
Hi @Sarah Humble , Are you on Jira Server or Cloud?
-
You didn't mention what format you need to export to, but one possible way to do it is with the Better Excel Exporter app (for Excel) or Better PDF Exporter (for PDF) which integrates with Zephyr. You can export various Zephyr test details, including steps, executions, step results, and even create test reports from Zephyr…

Hi @Bimlesh Sharma What app are you using for test management and what deployment type are you using Jira with? (Cloud or Server)
-
One possible way to do it is with the Better Excel Exporter app which integrates with Zephyr. You can export various Zephyr test details, including steps, executions, step results, and even create test reports from Zephyr data. You can find Zephyr Excel export samples here. Read more about the Zephyr integration in the…

Hi @Ilan Boock , Do you want the export to be restorable? Or just want to export all data for long-term storage or a similar use case? If restoring is not a requirement and PDF format would suffice then one possible way is by using the Better PDF Exporter app. This is often used to create self-containing, immutable PDF…
-
Hi @Katherine Stevens You didn't specify a format for your document generation need, but if PDF would suffice, one established app you can give a try is Better PDF Exporter that allows you to create custom PDF documents. It comes with built-in templates for the usual use cases but you can also add custom logic and layout…
-
John, have you considered archiving those issues to PDF and store them elsewhere, or preferably in a doc. management system long term for audit requests? Jira issue archiving this way worked for a government organization that had a similar use case.
-
Hi @[deleted] One possible way many companies handle audit requests on data retained in Jira is by using the Better PDF Exporter app. They can create self-containing, immutable PDF documents that auditors or other third parties accept and can access without logging into systems. You can select the issues to be included in…
-
Hi @DON KOWALL You can try the Better Excel Exporter app which can export Jira users with many type of metadata.
-
Hi @Stacey E. Kimmel-Smith The 1000 issue limit is built-in Jira for performance protection purposes. You can read more about that here.
-
Hi @Érico Lima de Menezes As one alternative to what Petter described you can also give Better PDF Exporter a try which can export issues that are part of a plan to PDF. Unfortunately, it's not available from the Plan UI, but from Issue Navigator. See export examples here. You can also export issues into Gantt chart…
-
Do you insist that it has to be in Word format? If PDF would suffice, you could give Better PDF Exporter a try and export all issue details + embed image (or any other type of) attachments: Anyway, to solve this you most probably need an app of some sort.
-
Hi @Petr AST , For your first question, one solution can be Better PDF Exporter, which can export your issue to PDF and also include the file attachments of the issue. See an example here:
-
The Yes, No values is the smaller challenge here. I'm not a developer, but I think that can be solved even without scripting, with an in IF statement. What's more challenging is how to display the individual issues on separate worksheets. I believe creating worksheets dynamically is not possible, but if you are interested…
-
Hi @Ehsan.qashqai , As an alternative, you can use the Rich Text Gadget to place custom text on a dashboard. If you don't insist on PPT, you can use Better PDF Exporter's new feature to export dashboards to PDF. See an example output here that contains custom text: Another example with more reporting gadgets: See more…
-
Hi @Madhu mullangi , It would need customization work but it looks possible with Better Excel Exporter. As Iago said, you would need to run a JQL first that would collect the list of issues in Issue Navigator that you want to export. Since you need conditional formatting and a custom layout in your output Excel, you would…

Most probably your Excel export template has been renamed or removed. Please open a ticket for the technical support team, so they can look into it for you.

@SHANAVASH MOHAMED, The order in which you install these apps matters due to the dependencies between them. Please make sure you follow (reinstall) the right order outlined in the app's documentation: https://www.midori-global.com/products/better-excel-automation-for-jira/server/installation If you still can't see the…
-
Hi @Sherwyn Pillay , Have you been able to try the suggestion by Aron above? Since Jira's built-in export for backlog and sprints are not really sufficient for professional use, there is a choice of apps you can give a try. Among those Better Excel Exporter can export from the Jira backlog to Excel >> Better PDF Exporter…
-
Hi @Emmanuel Cielo , If you can consider apps to solve your requirement, one option to try is Better PDF Exporter which can export your Service Desk tickets. You can try it free to see if it fits your needs. See an example output and find more info here: (Please note that Better PDF Exporter is a paid and supported app and…
-
Hi @Gonzalo Fernández Durán , As you can see in the other thread that Phillipp mentioned, Better Excel Exporter or Better PDF Exporter are two apps that can export issue history, depending on the format you need or what you plan to do with the output. Here you can browse some export examples >> (Please note that Better PDF…

Better Excel Exporter doesn't yet, but PDF Exporter works on Cloud: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/5167/better-pdf-exporter-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

@rierjarv , and All, As I already hinted, we have been working on dashboard exporting for Better PDF Exporter Cloud. We recently released a major new version that now includes dashboard exporting! You can go ahead and give it a try. If you already had the app installed, make sure you follow the upgrade instructions (it's…

Hi @mweber , Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud has integration with Advanced Roadmaps (it's still called Portfolio for Jira in the Docs, renaming coming soon) for this exact use case. You can look at example exports and details here in our Documentation. Feel free to reach out to our support if you have any questions.…
-
I suspect that @arsalan ahmed only meant "print to PDF", but he can clarify :) Anyway, thanks Calogero for mentioning us! You can indeed export the backlog to a professional PDF document with Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud! You can use the built-in templates to export an issue list or customize it to tailor the look…

I think you are trying to modify the gantt-chart.groovy file instead of the gantt-chart-fo.vm template that I mentioned. No worries, as I suggested, please open a support ticket here so we can address all of your requirements properly.
-
No worries! Have you visited the documentation section I linked earlier? Here are all the parameters you can specify for your Gantt Chart PDF report. Among the parameters, you can set what time period you want to use (days, weeks, etc) and also how to calculate the percentage (either use a specific custom field value for…
