Hello @testcase1062 , does this error apply to all issues you have imported or is this a problem of some specific issues from the import file? It sounds like there may be a mistake within the import file that is causing the issue keys to be used as users. If you select the "Map field values" checkboxes on issue key and…

Hey @Jira Billing , I assume this would only be possible through workflow properties. First of all I would not recommend to perform this change as Jira should not restrict but enable collaborating on comment level. Additionally the workflow properties can cause problems or bugs. Now that you are aware of the downsides and…

Hey @Asmath Basha , as I can't reproduce your error and can't double check this you may want to double check with your Jira admin. Somehow the value does not get correctly copied into the External Fix Version Field. Best regards Noah

Hey @Johann Schuster , unfortunately due to administration control and security posture tokens are forced to expire after one year. I have not found a workaround to escape this restriction. The only recommendation I've found was to set up tasks as reminder to set up new token before the old ones expire. 🙈 Best regards Noah

Hey @Geoffrey Chapelle , if you want to apply this to a specific issue or a specific set of issues I recommend to add a JQL condition to the schedule trigger. There is a checkbox on the bottom of the schedule trigger to Run a JQL search and execute actions for each issue in the query. Then you can use key = XYZ-123 or key…

Hey @Geoffrey Chapelle , one addition from my side. To not spam your colleagues with comments I would suggest to add a condition to check if the issue is already done. 😉 Best regards Noah

Hey @Geoffrey Chapelle , yes of course this is possible. By adding an automation that is schedulded based on your prefered time. By adding a comment action and a trick to mention users within automation you can achive this. * When: Schedulded* Every week on Mo, at 11:00 AM * Then: Add comment to issue* "Dear…

Hey @Isaac Mota , could you lead us a little bit more through the idea of what needs to get tracked in regards to the access? I am not sure if you imagine to track Logins, Project Access, User permission access or something else. Best regards Noah
-
Hey @Asmath Basha , could you confirm that both versions already exist? The automation can not generate new versions. Bother version have to be already existing. Best regards Noah
-
Hey @Asmath Basha , the setup looks good to me. Could you run a test by adding a log action before the edit action, then change a fix version to trigger the rule and then check the audit log for troubleshooting. Like this: If you notice any strange behaviour or details let me know. Best regards Noah

Hey @光野 かおる , I'm glad it works! Assuming the "goal" field is a multi line text field and formatted the same way as the description you may need to put the values into double-quote marks ("). Let me know if this works for you. If it does not work, you can attach a small screenshot of the goal field from the CSV. Best…

Hey @Karoline Friis , I see this still does not seem to be resolved. As you mentioned the configuration of both projects are the same. * Have you already checked if the field configuration does show the duedate? * Have you checked if the users have Schedule Issue Permission? Here is a troubleshoot guide: Due Date Field is…

Hey @光野 かおる , just to confirm. When we are talking about the "Map field value" option. I am talking about the checkbox on the right of the field mapping. The field need of course to be mapped to the Description field. Therefore it should somehow look like this: Could you confirm that this is the way you tried to import…

Still an amazing article in 2025! 🎉

Hey @Karoline Friis , maybe someone put a prank on you by hiding it from the field configuration of the project? 🫣 Best regards Noah

Hey @Janaina Oezcan , yes you can. Have a look at this KB to set up a mail handler and create issues from mail. Based on this configuration you can create issues and even use follow up events to assign them to a user or add specific customfields. * Configure mail server (shown in KB) * Configure mail handler for incoming…

Hey @光野 かおる , as far as I know the new lines should automatically detected and imported if the CSV is formatted correct. HOWEVER as shown in the bug JRACLOUD-46365 new lines disappear if you use the "Map field value" option. The reason is correctly provided by Akshay MD in the comment section. Therefore make sure NOT to…

Hey @Amanda TAY , the "PLANNING" sections contains modular features like the project Summary, Timeline, Backlog, Board or Forms. However it seems that your project has these features turned off. Maybe it was intentionally configured like this. It seems that even with the features turned off the "PLANNING" label of the…

Hey @Andrey Ivanov , sry for the missunderstanding. You are able to add your own text each time you run the automation. 😉That's the reason to tick the "Prompt for input when this rule is triggered". A dialog with a text field will pop up, where you can enter your own text. The default value you can see in the image on the…
-
Hey @Asmath Basha , sure I can help you on this. 😉 I made it work on my side. Can you share some screenshots from the automation you have build? You can also check the audit log (top right when editing the automation rule) of the automation rule to find the mistake. Here are some things you can troubleshoot in advance: *…
-
Hey @Andrey Ivanov , Indeed this is possible. Assuming that you store the mail address somewhere in the created issue, you can reply by using jira automation like this: * When: Manually trigger* (Optional) Define a group who are allowed to respond via mail * (Optional) Restrict the automation to an issuetype * Tick the…
-
Hey @Asmath Basha , assuming the "External Fix Version" is a version picker and the "External Fix Version" versions are the same as "Fix Version" extended with a "_DONE". Then you could set up the automation like this: * When: Values Changes for Fix versions * Then: Create variable* name: externalFixVersion * smart…

Hey @Piotr test , this seems to be related to the Hostkarma OpenSource Mail Blacklisting Service. In the case it could be related to this issue JRACLOUD-64837 that was mentioned by @Jack Brickey in a similar community post. To increase the awareness of this problem, I would suggest you to created a support ticket on…

Hey @ACE JIRA , welcome to the community! Indeed you can manage issues and screens for each issuetype separately in company managed projects. It sounds like your issuetypes may share the same issuetype screen scheme. You can check this by opening your project -> Project settings -> Issues -> Screens. If you want to have a…
