Awesome, thank you.

Hello. Working with Atlassian support there is a also a 250 character limit, so we opened this to increase that. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-98844
-
Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought, we have tried using the automation but we get throttled due to the number of issues that need it. This is why Jira is our favorite 4 letter word. They roll out functionality but it doesn't really meet the need.
-
This is what we are currently doing. However, the technicians that are filling out the PIR feel doing an extra step is wasteful time. Thanks for the suggestion though.
-
We do not see this in our environment yet, is there a delay in rollout?
-
I agree with the others that you should allow Teams to be used more broadly first before introducing more features. Sending an email to a Team should just be a smart value of {{team.name}} or assigned team like reporter or assignee.

I've been studying using a Gemini study session every day. Practice questions, flash cards, and study material. I've also been using some updated questions from a Udemy course. This test will complete my designation.
-
Agreed. Glad they introduced a product but gave no insight on how to access it.
-
OK but when will we be able to move an object from one schema to another? This is basic functionality that has been missing for years.
-
hey @vidyashree MS thank you!
-
Instead of making a new post I wanted to see if anyone from this thread had taken the test. I have been studying all this year, using a mixture of items. The question I have is the format the same? About 60-70 questions all multiple choice? 4 choices per question? Thanks!

In asset? Yeah the asset AQL query lets us use fuzzy search but not the asset field.
-
Thank you so much! This works perfectly.
-
With approvals will it be possible to have a place someone can land (like JSM portal) to just do the approval? We have agreed it seems like overkill that we have to license people for Jira approvals but not for JSM approvals.
-
Is there a video or demo of this functionality?
-
never mind, it presents when you choose a JSM project. Sorry I always build automations in global automations and not the project.
-
Well we don't have this option in our automation actions, guess it has not rolled out to us or is this on prem only action?
-
Well this new. I tried to build an automation a few months ago to do this then was looking to do it in scriptrunner. Thank you!
-
That is what I was looking for, thanks for the info.
-
This great! Thanks!
-
Thanks! I am looking into that app now.

No real issues, it seems there are different ways to get your user data into Jira. Here is my use case, we are a big company, we have around 40k users. Our helpdesk could get a call from Bob Smith, well there are 15 Bob Smith's. How do we know we got the right one? It would be easier to ask Bob for his employee ID when he…

@Jehan Gonsalkorale , as an enterprise customer I approve your team to do the work of getting this as an option on each transition screen instead of a universal setting. I am dead serious, you let us know what these other enterprise customers need to do to convince Atlassian this is a the way it should be and the…

yep and not it works! Thank you sir, I owe you a beer.

Update. After working with support came to find out that the affected service field is tied to asset so I built an asset object lookup and then had it set the affected service based on the asset object it found. Still it is finding everything it needs but it is still not setting the service. Now in opsgenie we did this…

Introducing Atlassian's new navigation! that video is not helpful or done well at all.
-
I am the site admin, lol. I will open a ticket. Thanks for all your help!
-
It does all the things but it does not actually set the affected service.
-
I have updated them and ran the test.

Sorry for the delay, Monday was pretty busy. Here is a pic
