Hi @TestingExternalAccessOnly Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Yes, you can identify and replace John from the latest comment using Automation smart values, but there is an important limitation regarding the Status lozenge. Jira Cloud comments are stored and rendered using Atlassian Document Format (ADF). Therefore,…

Hi @Aryan Raj Pradhan _Student_ Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The difference you're seeing is therefore related to how the Work items by assignee chart represents the data in a team-managed project. There isn't a setting there to manually split or configure those segments. If the Reports chart previously showed users…

Hi @Rumceisz Welcome to the Atlassian Community! For Jira Data Center, Jira doesn't provide a built-in “find duplicate Issue Type Schemes” function. Jira DC exposes the Issue Type Scheme REST API, and you can retrieve the schemes together with their issue types using GET…
-
Hi @Takao Hoshino Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Ajay is correct, the message strongly suggests checking the Transition Issues permission first. I would also ask your Jira administrator to check the specific workflow transition from that status. A workflow can have conditions that restrict a transition to particular…
-
Hi @Andy Clark Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Unfortunately, Community members don't have access to your Microsoft 365 environment, so we can't see the underlying reason behind the generic “Something went wrong” message. Since you're getting the same error in both Outlook desktop and Outlook on the web, I would first…

Hi @Federico Frade Lookup work items only retrieves work items into {{lookupIssues}}; it does not change the current work item context. Therefore, when the Add comment action runs inside your Advanced branch over {{triggerIssue.comments}}, the action still targets the trigger work item. Normally you could switch context…
-
Hi @Federico Frade @Arkadiusz Wroblewski KB is the right direction here. The important point is that Jira Automation can copy comments from one work item to another without using the REST API. Atlassian’s documented approach is to iterate through the source work item’s comments and add them individually to the destination…

Hi @PLaksh11 Kindly ask you accept my answer if it helped to solve your request or provide direction. This will help other community members trying to solve the same issue.
-
Hi @PLaksh11 Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Natively, Jira doesn't provide separate permissions for creating an issue link and removing an existing issue link. Both operations are controlled by the Link Issues permission. With ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud, you could potentially use a Script Listener on the Issue Link…

Hi @Tal Rosenberegr Have you tried the steps here? https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/delete-your-atlassian-account/ You should cancel all your product subscriptions first. https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/cancel-a-subscription/ Or make another user the billing administrator…
-
Hi @Helmut Priyanka Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Jira Cloud doesn't currently provide a native Duration custom field type that behaves like the built-in time-tracking fields such as 30m, 2h, 3d. If you need full duration-field behavior, parsing, validation, calculations, and reporting, I would look at a Marketplace…
-
Hi @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ Thanks for the note to my previous reply. I misinterpreted the Jira Product Discovery product shown in the header as the space type. In that case, ask your site admin to confirm that your account still has access to the Jira product.
-
Hi @Ankush Katiyar Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I would check the browser Developer Tools → Network while clicking Create agent and inspect the failed request/response. It may contain a more specific validation error than the UI displays. If it only returns a generic 400, I think the best option is to raise this…

Hi @Marc - SonginAI France This is the Atlassian Community, primarily intended for discussions and questions about Atlassian products and services, such as Jira, Confluence, JSM, and Rovo.
-
Hi @Siqi Hu Yes, in that case, the best option is to contact Atlassian Support. Have a nice Friday.
-
Hi @CHETAN KAPRE Welcome to the Atlassian Community! First, verify that your account still has Jira Product Discovery product access under Atlassian Administration. Being a space admin/member doesn't by itself resolve a missing product-access entitlement. Please ask Site Admins to check your Product Permissions.
-
Hi @Siqi Hu Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Based on Atlassian's current documentation, Sync with thread has not been documented as removed. The Jira Cloud for Slack documentation still shows Sync with thread as the way to sync Slack replies with Jira comments.…
-
Hi @Sarah James Welcome to the Atlassian Community! With the new Field Schemes model, Field Schemes control where a field is available/visible, while Field Contexts control how that field is configured, including default values and the available dropdown options. So, if your field has global/default options, those apply…
-
Hi @Marco Nowak Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I think there are reasonable arguments on both sides here. From the positive side, Atlassian states that metadata contribution is de-identified and aggregated, rather than using information that directly identifies individual users. Using this type of product-usage data…
-
Hi @Mohin Pasha Sure, will try it and will provide feedback, Mohin.
-
Hi @Mohin Pasha Nice work, Mohin! This looks like a really useful approach, especially for larger Jira instances where duplicate fields with different names can quickly become a reporting and administration headache. Thanks for sharing this with the Community! 🙌
-
Hi @Kianna Lavigne Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If by sub-statuses you mean actual Jira workflow statuses such as Waiting for Customer and Waiting for Support, then yes, this is possible with Power BI Connector for Jira by Tempo. We are using this one, for example. The connector provides Time in Status data, so you…
-
Hi @JOSE VALIM Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What you're seeing is okay. The Story Points field stores the current value of the work item, so if Story 3 was originally 13 points and you later change it to 5, a standard JQL filter/export will show 5. The Sprint Report is different because Jira uses historical sprint…
-
Hi @Flavia Silva You're correct. Atlassian introduced the blue dot as an unread-comments indicator in the Comments column, and I couldn't find any announcement that this functionality has been intentionally removed after that. I'd recommend contacting Atlassian Support. Also, please keep us informed about what they inform…
-
Hi @Smitty Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Could you clarify what you mean by a user “signing off” in your Jira process? Does the user click an Approve/Decline button, transition the work item to a specific status, update a field, or perform some other action? Regards, Gor

Hi @Dionne McIntosh Yes, exactly. Unfortunately, I’m not aware of a current JPD capability to centrally define an idea/create-form template and propagate it across existing spaces. The option to reuse an existing space configuration is more useful when creating new spaces, so it doesn't really solve your current use case.
-
Hi @Dori Burnett - Yes, I’ll be in Amsterdam! First time in Team Europe🙌- I’m especially excited to explore what’s next for Rovo and AI-powered ways of working and, of course, to meet the Atlassian Community in person!
-
Hi @Dionne McIntosh Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If by “global template” you mean a template for creating ideas that is automatically available/applied across all Jira Product Discovery spaces, I don't believe JPD currently provides that capability. Idea creation templates are configured at the space level. A space…

Hi @Vinod M Yes, for the SAML login, Jira matches the value produced by the configured Username mapping against the user's Username, not their Full Name/Display Name. Using your example, it will be. Username: Full Name: Vinod Rai Email: vinod@company.com If your SAML Username mapping resolves to. vinod Jira can match that…

Hi @LilitG Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The error indicates that your account is still the last billing admin of a transaction account that has active entitlements. Atlassian won't allow the account to be deleted while this association exists. To proceed, you will need to. - Change the billing contact/admin to…
