Awesome topic! As an aviation enthusiast, I’ve got to say Airport by Arthur Hailey was the book for me growing up. I loved how it turned all the moving parts of an airport into a thrilling story — pure turbulence and excitement! It’s probably the reason I still get overly excited whenever I’m near any airport.

I can’t quite claim Inbox Zero… more like Inbox 300-ish. :D It’s a very controlled chaos situation. Every time I get close to clearing it out, a new wave of “important” newsletters and system alerts appears like they’ve been waiting for their moment. Still, I tell myself those 300 are “pending masterpieces of productivity”…

Hi @LPK Yes, Atlassian changed the term "issue" to "work item" to provide more consistent and inclusive language across its products. You can see the following articles. https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/Reimagining-work-in-Jira-to-better-represent-all-teams/ba-p/2854968…

Dear @Zofia Subocz Since the fieldValues work correctly with your custom issue collector template, but not with the default “Got feedback?” template. This behavior is expected. The default collectors in Jira have some built-in logic that overrides or ignores manually provided fieldValues. That’s why your pre-set values…

Hi, @Zofia Subocz Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Could you please clarify these 3 questions: 1. Is the fix Version field on the Create screen? 2. Does the default reporter have permission to set Fix Version? 3. Does the version ID exist in the same project?

Hi @Phantipa Chaumvanichwattana This seems to be a marketing preference prompt that Atlassian has been displaying since a recent update to its notification system. The pop-up appears for users who haven’t confirmed their email marketing preferences yet. You can check via this link.…

Hi @Laura Pellizzari Thanks for the answer. Please paste this temporary formula to verify that workItemLinks returns what we expect: workItemLinks.MAP( IF $.source.key = key : $.destination.key ELSE : $.source.key ) You should see a list like [ABC-12, HPI-7...].If this is empty → the current issue has no links in the…

Hi @Wyman Yan Welcome to the Atlassian Community! On Jira Cloud, only users with the Product admin role (for that product) can see Settings → Apps → Manage apps. If you don’t have that role, the menu entry may not show. https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/user-is-unable-to-see-manage-app-explore-app-section/ Assignment…

Hi @Regina Ann Richard Welcome to the Atlassian Community! By default, Atlassian bills monthly subscriptions automatically via credit card. This is the standard setup for Jira Cloud plans (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise). Atlassian does not accept check payments for monthly subscriptions. However, they do accept checks…

Dear @Miriam Nieto Are you an admin in your organization?
-
Hi @スズキ Didn't get the tab names part. What do you mean?
-
Hi @Vicky Snap U The appearing screen means that: The entire site is temporarily down due to an Atlassian infrastructure issue. The site was deleted, suspended, or archived by the Atlassian organization owner. DNS or subscription issues are preventing Atlassian from serving that domain. 1. As Atlassian didn't have an…

Hi @Sebastian Krzewiński Such an interesting automation. One question: what is the TicketID there? Is it a custom field or something else? If it is a custom field, I think this smart value will work. some_text_field ~ "{{webhookData.ticketID}}" Put this into the lookup issue Then, via the compare condition check…

Hi @James Parkin In the Jira system, fields like “Created,” “Updated,” and “Resolved” are read-only and cannot be edited directly—even via the CSV import feature. Atlassian deliberately locks these fields to preserve data integrity, so you can’t override them through imports, the UI, or automation rules. For the…
