@David Kay I think you should check out the app Jira Snapshots for Confluence . (Disclosure: I am the CEO of radBee, the vendor behind the app). With this App, you can generate baselines of Jira issues at the (present) point in time. So, if you took one baseline when the issues are approved to work, and then when the…

@cyrille_guillard I suggest you check out the App Jira Snapshots for Confluence. It captures Jira data at a point in time, and was designed specifically to use cases like yours. @Tony Montana Please check this app: Jira Snapshots for Confluence . It is designed for your use case. It creates snapshots of Jira issues through a single- centralised authorisation. Every user with view permission on Confluence can see all the Jira Snapshot data. Every user with EDIT permission on the Confluence can…

Hello Vija, Thanks for clarifying. If this is your motivation, then Jira Macro will not work for you. The issues that are included in the Jira macro view are only issues that the viewing user has access to in Jira. So, if a user A has not access to the jira issues on Jira, then when he will view the page in Confluence he…

@Vishal Can you explain why having the link to Jira is a problem for you? Thanks Rina

Hi everyone, Thanks @Phill Fox for the initiative. Can't wait to get the Cambridge ACE up and running. Any tips and tricks of how to get early traction? I think its the start that is always difficult- warming up the engines and spreading the word Rina

It will allow you to show Jira ticket information in Confluence, to users who do not have access to Jira. Disclosure:…

Hello @Evan Giordanella Sorry for the late reply- I only bumped into your issue now. If you are using Confluence, and your users have access to Confluence, check this app: Jira Snapshots . It brings Jira data into Confluence and makes it visible to anyone with access to the page (irrespective of their Jira access). It…

@Alex Febroino I suggest you have a look at this App: Jira Snapshots --> it sounds like the perfect match for what you need, providing you also have Confluence. It basically brings static Jira query results into Confluence. It has a couple of more advantages: * You can check what changed over time- the app provides a DIFF…

Hi @Laurie Huth Check out the Jira Snapshots marketplace app (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225123/jira-snapshots-time-stamped-baselines-into-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview ), it addresses this issue. @Fahad Kamal Welcome to Confluence! Conceptually: Jira is your task management area. Jira issues are things that need to be done, and Jira helps you manage these. Confluence is the place for all the background information that helps your team do these tasks. Like: * A support team will use a service desk project to manage…

@[deleted] I do not know of a way to drag a ticket; I assume that it relates to copying the link to the issue (copy from the URL line in your browser) and past it in the specific location in the Confluence table where you want it to appear. The Jira issue will be displayed nicely in Confluence and link to Jira.

Hi @Gerda Grantiņa _ eazyBI Such a quick response, thank you- it helped a lot! I managed to make it work for me, so I will share the highlights (Server setup): * Set an applink between confluence and Jira * In Jira: create a dashboard and add the EazyBIU report gadget to it. Just before adding the gadget to the Dashboard…
-
Hello @Gerda Grantiņa _ eazyBI Thanks for the detailed answer. Looking at your option (2) for using external gadgets in Confluence and reading several times the page that you linked to, I can only find this: " You can also publish eazyBI for Jira reports on Confluence pages if you are using eazyBI for Jira Cloud (in the…

@Brant Schroeder thanks for the question. Each snapshot creates a new page version with new snapshot data stored in a separate table but linked to this page version. So the best way to think about the load they create is similar to how you think of each new page version that is created- and if any page (with or without…
