Do you see the Settings option in the left sidebar of your repo? If not, you aren't able to enable the wiki on your repo and you need to ask an admin to do it for you. If you see Settings, click it and scroll down to find Wiki Settings in the list that appears.

This page should have the info you're looking for: SourceTree a Free Git and Mercurial GUI When you get to step 4 of the first section, select GitHub from the Host dropdown.

Thanks for the heads up! I've updated the broken links on that page.

There isn't a way to modify permissions from the CLI. You have to go into Bitbucket to do that. If you just want to grant repo access to new groups you'll need to go into each repo to add the group. Here's some instructions on how to do that: New group access on existing repositories Hope that helps!

You'll learn how to create and clone a repository from Bitbucket, basic Git commands (add, commit, push, pull, etc.), and a little bit about Git branching.

When you have multiple commits on a branch, you can't create a pull request for only one of those commits. What you can do is create a new branch for that commit and then create the pull request from there. To add that commit to a new branch, you can use the git cherry-pick command, which is explained in more detail…

Thanks for letting us know! The links are now fixed.

Can you provide more info about what is missing/doesn't work? It looks like the Windows guide is correct because we're proposing that you use the Git Bash window, which specifically comes with Git for Windows.

You should be able to change it by going to Manage Atlassian account from your avatar in the top-right corner of Bitbucket. From there, go to Change email address to update your primary email. If that's not working for you, please file a support ticket.

The page you were looking at is from our Bitbucket Cloud docs, but it sounds like you using Bitbucket Server. Here's our equivalent doc page about importing code when using Bitbucket Server: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/jZlKLg

It sounds like you are looking for the Bitbucket Server (not Cloud) page on users and groups: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/t5dKLg

That page is no longer public because the content has been updated with new info and URLs. If you are still looking for a page on Mercurial setup, check out this one: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/rY1LKw

You are correct that the workaround no longer works. I've updated the documentation. If you still need the redirects removed, contact support and ask them to remove the redirects for you.

Fixed! Thanks for letting us know.

The type of clone you do is based on the type of distributed version control system (DVCS) you are using for your repository. Bitbucket supports two different DVCS options: Git and Mercurial. Read more about both of them here: https://www.atlassian.com/dvcs/overview/dvcs-options-git-or-mercurial

Fixed! Thanks.

If you are an admin on the repository, you find it in the left panel at the last link, which is called Settings.

I see what you're saying. I'll update that to make it clearer. Thanks!

The screenshot with that example actually comes from the default page that you get when you add a Wiki to your repository. That Wiki page was originally called Home. If you already deleted the page, you can create a test repo and add the Wiki to see the default page again.

Are you asking about deleting team followers or team members? You can't delete a follower from your team because they aren't part of it, but you can make your team profile private so that followers can't see what's on your profile. If you are asking about team members, you can delete them from your plan details page or the…

If you don't see the repository's Settings page, talk to your repository's admin. That person should see the Settings page and be able to turn the wiki on.

In Bitbucket, you should be able to go into your team settings (from the team profile, click Manage team), and then click Plan details. From there, you should see a list of users who have access to your Bitbucket repositories. If you don't have a team, you can go to your Bitbucket settings and find the Plan details from…
