@Stavros_Rougas_EasyApps - I wish it were that easy, because I'm with you. We built Content Retention Manager 100% on forge so it was in the first grouping of "Runs on Atlassian." My thinking was that's better than Soc2 because no data egress, built in data residency tethered to Atlassian and all the security from Forge…

To add to this, Atlassian has invested extensively in making sure apps are Cloud Enterprise ready. Key things to look for when considering an app if you're a large enterprise: * Is the app "Runs on Atlassian?" This is a non-starter if not given the security posture you were used to with DC * Is the app Cloud Fortified? *…

This is such a clear and thorough breakdown on the importance of house cleaning during the Atlassian Data Center EOL. I really like how it frames migration as both a technical and cultural shift. One area I have seen make a big difference after migration is establishing clear content governance and retention policies early…

Yes and clean your content too! User + Data clean up before migration, that way you can start fresh when you're in the Cloud. Bring only what you need, this is an awesome opportunity for every enterprise to do some spring cleaning. I'm available for a coffee chat any time (free just so you know). miniOrange Automated User…

Great post @Dr_ Ankita Mehta-OpsHub_ IncStrong YES AND! Migrating from DC to Cloud is more than a simple switch, I can't emphasize enough the points on not bringing over all the baggage. Unlimited storage is simply not a thing in cloud and also incredibly risky if you think of the added threat vectors of Cloud. Really…

We're very excited for this one this year!

This is really interesting and insightful, but exposes a challenge for those who are looking for compliance around record management and information governance. There's risk when it comes to the concept of discovery. Organizations in regulated industries or conforming to privacy frameworks are required to regularly purge…

Welcome @Sri Ram Sai Pavan Relangi

We're looking to build some compliance automation into our Marketplace App (Content Retention Manager for Confluence/Jira) for customers using Guard + Guard Premium which leverages the data classification function. As an aside, as the former Auth0/Okta extensibility PM, I would like to highlight there's an ecosystem…

Welcome @Lynn Weiner to the community!

I'm regularly tagging content as it relates to how we (Opus Guard) are solving for enterprise compliance needs with Atlassian. However, I'm posting on behalf of the company page then x-posting on my personal page. Is this sufficient? I've posted quite a few times, especially during TEAM24. Here's my latest about our…

Welcome @Eren Kalelioğlu! I'd love to connect with you and learn more (Linkedin request heading over now). In the mean time, congrats on your entry to the Atlassian Marketplace space, it's a friendly place.
-
Welcome @Abdullah Kamel! Depending on how you are bootstrapping or which ecosystem you are building in, the solutions partners have the pulse of the customer in a way that, as a PM, can really help us scale in new spaces. If your pitch is good and you're able to articulate your hypothesis and early solution well enough, a…

Welcome @Laurie Sciutti! To get you inspired, the community here is a treasure trove of opportunities to help teams do more. There are more needs within the 300,000 teams using Atlassian products than can be solved by Atlassian or the many Marketplace Partners. We're all working together in our own ways to shore this up.…

I'm Darin and while "New to JSM" group, I'm not new at all to JSM or JSD as I remember it! * I've been using Jira Service Management for well over 8 years * I don't have a unique case, we use it in all the ways we can to provide awesome support and receive feedback on how to improve our products at Opus Guard on our…
-
@Marion Lepmets _SoftComply_ incredibly insightful! I particularly am interested in helping out on the section around retention requirements.
-
I love it! Digital Asset Management matched with other compliance focused solutions in the Atlassian Marketplace can significantly help in reducing risks associated with untracked assets, long living content, and incorrectly classified content.
-
Congrats on the new role and the new team! I love the concept and hope for all the best!
-
I think that is the intent. Working in the open where everyone can see nearly everything comes with the large trade off of making exfiltration a real risk. So the only way for us to keep the culture of working in the open is tighter controls around the people and some on the content.
-
Similarly, at Opus Guard, I'm increasingly watching the iterations on ISO 42001 which defines how we can leverage AI in our apps and operations. For now, we intentionally leave AI out of our product for compliance needs, but we leverage AI in our own daily operations to assist with code drafts and API exploration (which it…

It's old but still relevant, I had a chance to meet up with Steve King at #TEAM24 and we're in (Opus Guard) for Pledge 1%. I'll get a post going, I really love the Adaptavist example.

@Phil Grove count me in

@Dave Rosenlund _Trundl_ thanks! The error wasn't clear, I used our home page given the nature of this subsection of the community being all about start ups in general, I thought it would be fitting to share our home page, but happy to link to our vendor page in Marketplace being a start up on Marketplace.
-
I'll go first, I'm joining on behalf of Opus Guard. New to Atlassian Marketplace as a Vendor but far from new to Atlassian. We're focusing on helping Teams and SaaS products solve the recent updates to ISO27001 which has much more strict requirements around information governance. Our inaugural app, Content Retention…

Ok! We’ll start exploring it. We are just wrapping up our Jira Retention Management app launch.
-
@Kristen Roth thank you for starting this one up! It's great to have a forum about start up insights within the Atlassian Community! For Atlassian Alumni we also have some others, but this will help other emerging start ups looking to be part of the TEAM.
-
Yes! Zephyr is a great test suite and they have awesome customer support.

Yea, I’m actively scoping a data center solution. However, for most basic use cases in Confluence Data Center you can use the build in retention rules, which works very similar to my app but with a little less of the audit function. This article may help you. Feel free to reach out if you want to help scope a new solution.…
-
@haindavi guntur it sounds like you may have a custom app regulating your retention policies within Confluence, so there won't be much to go on unless you can track that down. Check https://admin.atlassian.com/ to see what apps you have installed and that may help. If you are looking for retention management, check…

@Shankar Nampally check out Content Retention Manager for Confluence in the Atlassian Marketplace, we built it specifically for this use case. Retention Manager for Confluence allows you to set a global retention period, automate the deletion and even automate purging of the content. In Confluence, content in archive and…
