Dont think you can customize the release notes. But check out this answer for some more details on what you could do. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Core-questions/release-notes-customization/qaq-p/142755/jump-to/first-unread-message

There are 2 that i have used that work well. Project Configurator and Configuration Manager for JIRA. Adaptavist just purchased Project Configurator and announced it at Summit this year.
-
Try adding this to the issues Closed status property in the workflow. jira.issue.editable and set it's value to false
-
After the starter license ($10, 5 repos, etc...) it goes to number of users and doesn't care about the number of repos. There isn't anything in between unfortunately.
-
There is, or used to be, a way to use this via WebDav. Just to note it is not supported. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-a-webdav-client-for-confluence-148044.html
-
If you want to use an App i would recommend JIRA Automation for this. You can set it to notify people if an issue hasn't been updated for X amount of time. Not sure if the "Lite" version will do this or not but it might be worth investigating.
-
Look at the Clone Plus App. I have used this for several years and it works great for this.
-
Yup, Quick filters would work to let them quickly see only their issues.
-
I can think of a couple ways to accomplish this, both would be with plugins. Lets use the Defer option for an example below. * Use the JMWE (JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions) plugin. To do this you would need to create a custom field with the options for the Defer transition. You could then put that field on a transition…
-
Clone plus lets you pick which fields to copy, lets you copy to a different issue type and project, and other options as well.
-
Not sure which version you are on but here is a link to the documention that is pretty good: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver074/configuring-issue-level-security-881683436.html Basically just go to Admin > Issues > Issue Security Schemes (all the way near the bottom) You can setup a scheme and then assign…

What is the reasoning behind choosing either Defer or Reject and then having another status for why it was deferred or rejected? Just trying to understand the underlying reasoning here. It could be that you don't really need this part, or that its as easy as using Resolution for these and closing out the issue unless…
-
Do the customers have logins or do they view anonymously? If they have logins you might look at using Issue Security Schemes for this. It would let you set different levels for the customers so they would only be allowed to see their issues.
-
Emily, I know there is a feature request here that has been around for a while for this very option, i would vote and watch that. You might try Clone Plus to see if it would do this as well. I have used it in the past to clone parents and subtasks, just not sure if it works for Epics on down. I hope that helps.
-
Alok, I would suggest supplying or looking at the output of the log file to see if an error is occuring.
-
I believe the only way to do that is to go through an Solution Partner. Hope that helps.
-
Are there any failures in the startup logs? What Database ,and version ,are you using?
-
You have to license the plugins at the same level as JIRA, at least that has been my understanding. So however many JIRA users you have active will be the same as the count for Zephyr.
-
I would suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support for this now, as it could be that you will need to rollback and do the upgrade again, but hopefully thats not the case. I would suggest going into plugin safe mode and see if you still have the issue. That would eliminate any plugins being the issue
-
strike that, it moved.. Admin > Issues > Time Tracking
-
I think its under Admin > System > Time Tracking
-
Nic hit it on the head here. Its a very complicated question with no easy answer. There are also some free tools out there that could help you diagnose this if you dont have access to anything. something like Javamelody would be a good start.
-
Thanks @Monique! not sure how i missed that.

I found an answer here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agile-questions/How-can-you-remove-issues-from-a-sprint-in-bulk/qaq-p/420119 Baiscally just bulk edit your issues and blank out the Sprint field. It might already show it as blank when you go to bulk edit, but make sure you check the box next to the field. You MUST…

Word of warning... Please make sure you run this in a Staging/Test environment first. Wish i would've added this in the Notes section at the top of the article.

Javi, How did you upgrade? Did you go stright from 6.4 to 7.3? or did you step through 7.0.x to 7.3? I would highly recommend going from 6.4.x to 7.0.11 first. And then from 7.0.11 to 7.3.x

No you dont need to uninstall. I did this a couple weeks ago. THe only issue we ran into was that the Worklog Distribution gadget is incompatible. We had to remove and re-add those gadgets from every board they were on.
-
I think this is the default behavior. They allow you to use any number field in JIRA for your estimation on a scrum board. I dont see a way to turn that off unfortunately.
-
What Version of JIRA and JIRA Agile are you using? Did you add the work while the Sprint was still open? Not sure if that matters, but figured i would ask.

There is a great plugin called Copy Page Tree that we use for this. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.nurago.confluence.plugins.treecopy/cloud/overview I also lets you prefix or suffix the pages being created so you dont have duplicate names in your space (which i dont think is allowed) Hope this help! -Brian
