Hi @Jessica Queen ! If you also have Jira, you can use a Jira business project (you might have one already where you would like the feedback to go!) and use the forms to create a survey. They're not superrrr customizable, but there are some tricks. This would allow you to copy the Jira form link into Confluence and it…

Hi @Sinem Sutluoglu ! This is a great use-case :-) This is possible if you are a Jira admin (or know someone who is) via automation! The image below shows roughly how it could work, but I'll detail out some important pieces below: * Trigger: when an issue is transitioned (Can be specific from/to statuses or any/all) * IF:…

Hi @Pavithra Kandula , I see what you mean! I believe this has to do with them changing the JSM project settings layout. The new one more closely follows the support docs but for me (and looks like for you) it is showing the old layout of project settings, so wondering if there is a bug right now.
-
Hi @Anna ! I saw this yesterday and previously and was excited! However, today it is back to the old layout and it has been basically toggling back and forth between the old and new layout randomly for me and my project admin. I wonder if there is a bug? I could not find an existing one in JAC. It's a little confusing…

Are there plans to make the search in Confluence more advanced like Jira? I know we can use CQL, but having the basic and a CQL toggle to help people form their CQL and be able to use it more effectively would be great!

Totally agree with you on the focus during standups, @Randy O'Neal ! At a previous job, we switched the sprint board horizontal lanes to be epics (groups of work) rather than assignee and that proved to be much more useful!
-
Hi @David Hart ! This is such an interesting use-case! I do wonder if you need the count to be reportable in an attribute specifically? Or if just a count somewhere else would work? I have an alternative to suggest, which may or may not work for you. We do something similar where we have Software objects and License…

Thanks for that info! And sure thing I would be happy to look at this and show you more! If you like, we can connect and hop on a call and I'd be happy to post our final solution here in the thread! These automations can be super tricky but super gratifying when they work! It's all about the placement in the flow!

Hi there @alessandro_romolo_e ! You can limit the access of the project to just yourself. Jira admins by default still will see the project in the project list, but will not be able to see the issues inside of it. They can add themselves to your project access (that is what the Jira admin role allows), and you could check…
-
Hi @hpatani ! You should be able to go to your Jira System settings and see an option under Mail called Send email. This will let you pick a project and role (they have Service Desk customers!) to send an email to. Hope that helps!

As @Bill Sheboy said, totally possible with scheduled trigger rule and lookupObjects to make some magic happen. Also just wanted to throw out an idea based on your image! Unless your monthly and quarterly reviews are different in format, it might be cleaner (for you and) the automation if you had a single select field…

Hi @Lyndon Tam ! We saw this as well when trying to link Epics. Not sure if there is a bug atm, but we got around it by going to the Jira epic itself, and scrolling to the bottom of the right-hand context panels for the Project overview section. This allowed us to create an Atlas project from the Epic directly which…

Loveee the Jira issues on the Confluence whiteboard. This makes team activities related to Jira issues so much more fun and engaging! <3

Hi @Andrew Taylor , this is a great question! You can create custom fields in Jira that are for Assets objects. This allows you to use the field in any Jira project and you can filter which asset schemas, object types, and even filter specific objects (using AQL) to show up in the drop-down list on the custom field for a…

We've used the REST API to import descriptions and comments of varying lengths. We've never had a problem with length, but we HAVE had a problem for special characters. Since the API expects your value in JSON, you need to escape those characters. This stackoverflow post goes into good detail. For us, the biggest offenders…

As far as priority goes, I haven't seen that in there yet. A lot of how I think they want us to use JPD is by prioritizing via scores that you create with formulas based off of other fields (e.g., impact, effort, urgency, etc.)
-
Hi @PATRICIA MURPHY ! You can use some Jira fields (system or custom) in JPD but not all types are compatible. If you go to project settings in your JPD project, and navigate to Fields on the sidebar, you should see a button for Add global field. Here you can filter on Jira fields and it will show you the compatible ones.…

Hi @Nathan Yam ! Editing the request type is a little tricky when creating/cloning issues. Also, the branching gets kind of funky as well. I've recreated your automation and tested it. You might want something more like the screenshot below. Pulling out the IF condition into the main branch is totally okay and then the…

For us, we did not add payment details so the trial simply ends and the system bugs us before the deadline to add payment details to continue.

Hi @manuel_gamelas ! The free version probably won't work for your team due to its size. Earlier this year, they changed how many users (collaborators) you can have in a Trello workspace to only 10 people. You need at least the Standard tier of Trello to have unlimited collaborators.

Ahh I see. This might be pushing the limits of what Confluence can do on its own and would require either a Forge app or some fancy scripting. May be helpful to look at if this can be accomplished differently using Jira integration or some other mechanism! Happy to chat more about this interesting use-case if you would…
-
That's probably because it's not the exact name of the field it's referencing. If you are interested, I would be happy to connect with you on a video call to look at it (connect with me here)! We use it quite successfully but definitely have to swap out the field name depending on the project.

Hi there! We've toyed with this idea as well and have come to only a few solutions: * Announcement banner in portal on those days * Marketplace app to customize the portal request create screen * Forge custom app to customize the portal request create screen

Hi @Ron Campbell! You should be able to accomplish this with the following piece of JQL (like this or using your approval field): "Approvals[Approvals]" = myPendingApproval() That will only return issues where the current user has a pending approver. So if they approve, the issue will drop off their JQL. Hope that helps!

I see two answers with built in features that might help! 1. You might try the Confluence smart button macro! They have some templates of automations you can do, like creating a new page, with/out a template, adding labels. There you can specify the parent page if it's always in the same space. Check it out, it might fit…

Would something like this work for you?

Hi there! You can use widgets to embed the virtual service agent onto a website. It gives you an embed code you can paste in. There are a few requirements for set up and those can be found at the links below: * https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/embed-a-widget-onto-a-web-page/ *…

Awesome! I clicked on the contributors group and it is private. I requested access. Not sure if that access should be granted automatically for contributors?
