Hey @Mirek That sounds super interesting, I think this may be the link to the recording of that talk. Inside Atlassian: Transforming Customer Support With Artificial Intelligence

Since my Co-Leader couldn't make Summit, I split my swag with him. He got the Scarf and T-Shirt. I kept the travel pouch and phone thingy. :D Great Community Swag this year.
-
Ha! @Community Manager that is too much win and awesome right there @Meg HolbrookLets do this!
-
I hear what you are saying. My management is super keen to get us onto the cloud platform and I have to keep working with them for us to stay on Server, as I am convinced we would never survive the end user questions/complaints/problems with the constant changes on Cloud. I believe we would wind up evaluating other…

@Mark Thompson Hey there! I am quite in in agreement with you on many points about this redesign. It was quite a shock to wake up to it right before traveling to Summit. I sincerely though my Jira instance was broken! So, I really wasn't sure what to think of it heading off to Summit, except, "Woah, this is *not* going to…
-
@LarryBrock you really really do need to be there! @Kevin Stanley will be there and we super miss your company!
-
...and you appear again here my Columbus AUG follow up post. While I have my own pics of the doughnut wall, they are vastly inferior to this one of @Jack Brickey's.
-
Thanks for the shout out @Monique vdB! I plan to make more posts about Summit thoughts and adventures in the coming days/weeks too!

Oh and, If my memory of base install of Jira is correct, Task and Sub-Task *should* be default issue types in Jira, so you shouldn't have create them.
-
I see that in your first screen shot, that it is a sub-task type, but not when I look at your second screen shots with the Issue Type Scheme, so it makes me wonder if you have two issue types named Task, one Standard type and one SUB-TASK type. Thinking maybe you have the Task (Standard) and don't have the Task (Subtask)…
-
Sorry I think I was responding when @Jack Brickey and you were conversing. Ignore my comment if it isn't of use @Matt Spaulding
-
Hi @Matt Spaulding! Welcome to the community. Jira treats the issue type Task and SubTask differently. You will need to add or create the issue type Sub-task to you Issue Type Scheme to be able to create Sub-tasks. SUB-TASKs are a special type of issue type and you can define issue types to be set at the SUB-TASK level.

While I have a picture of this myself, I had to use this one for my recent post in my AUG group, just cause it had @Community Manager in it. I feel sorta like it is like using Hidden Mickey's :D

I think my enthusiasm for New Zealand scared them a bit. Was just super excited. I hope someone can bring me some L&P to US Summit ;-)
-
* Awesome @Gary Barg! I was just asked by one of my User Group members last night about how to train new users to work with Jira and how he built a vocabulary chart. I can't wait to share this resource with him!
-
Great Question Mark! Our best events always seem to be the ones when members suggest the topics. Its what makes the User Groups work the best, content driven by the membership holds the best value. I can't wait to see what your group comes up with for future discussions. btw, did you see the announcement about the new Jira…

Thanks for checking in and reporting back on this question @Max Foerster - K15t

These are great pictures @Jeff Tillett! I can't wait to see you and Charlie at US Summit. I think it's hilarious that we both found our mascots at the airport!
-
I love the colors of yours @Jack Brickey! I say we all get it as matching tattoos at the next summit! ....ok, maybe just get it made as a temporary tattoo. ;)
-
Wow! Congratulations! If you attend Summit in Vegas, You'll be able to get one of the Atlassian Certified hoodies, like I am wearing in a reply on this post. They are super comfy. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Summit-discussions/Summit-Selfies-amp-Swag/td-p/881150#M174

@Kirkie Awesome! I hope you did well on the Cert! I still have to go take a second stab at my Jira Administration Cert. Thanks also for the resources on the Hipchat to Slack! Maybe I'll finally become a proficient Slack user. :)

@[deleted] Thanks for taking the pic and it was nice to see you there

Thanks @Larry Brock _Praecipio_. Summit wasn't the same with out ya! Though I did find myself often in the company of yet another Austinite. ;) Vegas?
-
@Alyssa Priddy I have no doubt you will soon be wearing an Atlassian Certified hoodie yourself soon! Can't wait to give you a "finally certified Hi-Five"
-
Absolutely! There was so much product and feature news that they broke products out into their own 'State of the Union' sessions. I'm hoping they will publish the videos before our AUG, because I couldn't make all of them. Going to start building my presentation after doing some sight seeing & beach time tomorrow. I hope…

My newest Atlassian hoodie was hard earned and much loved. So proud to have finally earned one, after *oooing* at them at my first Summit in 2016.
