Thanks @Thad West! Would love to have you join us. Maybe you will be able to catch up with us for the Sept breakfast on the 28th!

Pretty sure @Community Manager is my spirit guide :D

@Davin Studer Those are some awesome tips! I do imagine that you are doing this on server though? I tend to try to stick with things that are straight out of the box, to keep our upgrades as smooth as possible, but I could see this making some things easier, if kept limited to specific, and well defined use cases.

Good find on JRASERVER-6851 @Davin Studer I've added my vote! The other thing I could wish for, in custom fields is a display name. So the field behind the scenes could be Location, but on the screen it would list as Customer Location, and the like. I believe there is functionality like that in the Customer Portal for JSD,…

oh? wonder which one. :-)

I think Google is trying to tell me I need more sleep! Or that I have wishfull thinking written all over my face. 🤣

Thanks @Meg Holbrook! It is very hard to work with when you inherit systems that have been in use for years, especially when users have had pretty open access to set everything up custom to themselves. That's why I think it is a super important part of setting up a new installation. Particular customizations can get out of…

@Frede Welcome to the Community! My understanding on the UI is that you cannot use the old UI on cloud anymore, I welcome someone to tell me I am incorrect on this. I work in both server and cloud and the cloud UI is some what more cumbersome to use than the UI for server. With the remote users, for our server instance, we…

The most addicting thing to me, is answering questions, I'm always checking back in, to see if my answer worked, did someone add more information to the question, etc. It has taken me a while to feel comfortable answering questions, because I am surrounded by some of the most knowledgeable and smart people I have known.…

Excellent @Regis Eloi! Glad you were able to work with them.

Honestly, I love Cleveland. I even tried working in Strongsville for a year. But owning a fixer upper in Columbus made a full move difficult. Still I am up there several times a year. Need too get my West Side Market fix soon!
-
hahaha, Haven't made it that far North in my NZ travels, maybe someday!
-
Saw that move as a High School freshman....always loved it. <3
-
Hi @Regis Eloi Sounds like you might be using the Jira Default workflow for some of your projects. Make a copy of that workflow and assign it to the projects using the Default workflow. You will be able to make changes to the copy.

@Hari Shankar (Shankar Newton) I'm "an office" of one, and I pay for the $10 per month license for Confluence Cloud, I also pay the same for the Jira Cloud license. I love that I can add additional users as needed to collaborate with friends on projects as they come up. Workfront is $30 a month per user Asana is $10 a…

Thanks! @Dominic Price

There is a toy, that I never owned, but very much wanted after my dad bought it for my older cousin. We had gone to Disney, and there was a robot there, which would pick things up and dance and all sorts of things, and my dad said that he worked on them, wiring them up, running them through diagnostics and such. I thought…

@Joe Tong Now *I* want to see your vacation boards :D

Hi @Barry Morrison! Welcome to the Community! I keep hoping I can come visit the London AUG some day.
-
I think, taking a closer look at the picture, what @akhil bunty is pointing out, is that he is searching for a custom field that starts with "bom" and there isn't one there between Bill of Lading and the first Body Id Custom Field. Though I don't know why it wouldn't be there, unless the field had been deleted by a system…

Hi @Bar T Do the issues all share the same workflow? If they don't you will have to use a bulk update to change the issue type.
-
So many serious questions, I feel like I need to throw something fun in to an AMA. What is your favorite way to celebrate team success? How to do you rally the teams, improving moral after a set back? ... and, possibly the most important question, what's your favorite icecream flavor?
-
@TiffanyAwesome! Thanks for the update, if you decide to do remote sessions, I'd be super interested.
-
Hi @Tiffany, are these sessions on site or can they be scheduled remote?
-
Thanks @Celina Zamora. Don't forget to introduce yourself ;-)
-
So, I'll get the introductions started! I am really excited for us to have this space on Community. I'm Kimberly. I started the process of reviving the Columbus user group in late 2015, with our first event back in March of 2016. Its been a very exciting time, learning more about the Atlassian products and meeting users…

I have been contemplating how to wall mount an old Ipad I have. Biggest issue is getting power to it, and figuring out where in my house makes the most sense for a "command center"

@Ye Welcome to the community! Does this table need to be shown multiple times on the same page or are you doing a new page for each book? I have set up a page template that includes tables, but the page is pretty formulaic for each item (its an index of plants I have in my garden) To create a new template, Go into the…

You can drag and drop the columns to reorder them. Hover over the top of the column, you will get a hand pointer. Then just click/hold and drag them into the order you need. But that is the only customization available for Boards in Jira Core.
