Good ideas @Greg Sprowls, I too am a fan of the BYO for meals, but wanted to make sure folks didn't skip dinner or some such to attend. Do you have a preference for Mondays or Wednesday? Will either of those work for you? I think 6-8 weeks is an excellent starting point for length of sessions.

@Man Welcome to the Community! Happy to have you among us! I wanted to let you know that I have looked though a bunch of documentation and tried out some things in my own instances, it doesn't appear to be possible natively in the cloud products. There are ways to do it on Server, according to the following, but notes that…

I just want to give a shout out welcome to some of the new members to our online group! Please feel free to introduce yourselves and tell us a bit about you and how you used the Atlassian products! @Greg Sprowls @Bryan Robison, & @Chanse Roberts Welcome to the Group!

My co-leader snagged mine! Ah well, that's what we do....share. ;-)
-
That's really awesome to hear! We share a lot of YouTube videos here, I really should make some that are more specific to our environment.
-
Hi @Jonathan Smith! I am in about the same position as you and @Thomas Schlegel. I support about 1500 Confluence users and 350 Jira users. I highly suggest having some resources that people can use on their own. Small 1-2 minute training videos or other self service options for them to come up to speed. Also try to have…

Hah! I love that last one! I think we can all identify with Travis there, amidst the pizza boxes!
-
@gsprowls I know you have something to share with us :D I have been impatiently waiting to have a good smile at some pics.

I totally missed this post, with all my travel messages, I had to catch up through. That sounds like a really awesome opportunity, I hope you guys found some great candidates.

@Julio Julio You also might want to raise a support ticket with the vendor of the app. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214971/handy-macros-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=support or check out their documentation https://docs.stiltsoft.com/display/public/HMFC/Handy+Macros+for+Confluence+Home
-
@Julio Julio Might also try looking under the space tools, if you have admin. I know that is where set up for one of our Plugins Viewtracker lives.
-
@Julio Julio I will be upfront, and mention that I am not entirely familiar with that particular function, but i would mention that you would likely have to have that macro included on a page for the information to be displayed. Have you tried adding it with the Insert More Content menu, and selecting Other macros?

Hi @Eric Fields! Welcome to the Community! We're super happy to have you here :D
-
Hi @Anja Brkljacic! I absolutely would love for people to share their scary stories! If you are going to be at the meeting, I love for folks to stand up and share their stories. If you can't make it, we can start a thread here and people can share that way too.
-
This is great feedback, @Anja Brkljacic! I will pass this on to the Atlassian University folks. Thanks so much for adding to the discussion!
-
I think the thing to keep in mind with that is that many software and systems start out as either very open or very closed systems by default. My experiences show that more are open than closed, out of the box, but your millage may vary. Atlassian, as a company, actively promotes open collaboration, so it really isn't a…

Oh... an Upvote on that idea! I'd love to see training wrapped around new functionality too.
-
@Mark Hudson Yeah, you can't use lables, but you can use a group or a group custom field value (allowing you to select different groups as needed) . So if you have the different Customers, as licensed users, and they are in groups you can set it up with that value. If there group is selected in the custom field, only users…
-
@Mark Hudson The quick answer is that It works with the Project permissions. Example, if you want someone to be able to see something they will still have to have the project permission Browse Issues. This is where you might want to let a sub set of people have access to issues, such as issues only assigned to them. I can…
-
@Aaron Williams We also allow the users to create their space. I am wondering if you are missing some permission or some such that will allow you to fully see in there, as it looks like you are also missing other configuration options in the space settings. Maybe have a look at your Global Permissions. Mine are set like…
-
You can also chose to archive it under the space details, choosing Edit Space Detail and selecting archive under Status
-
Hi @Aaron Williams You should be able to delete the personal spaces, just as you would any space, by going into the space and selecting the Space Setting. You may have to do this before deactivating the user account, but I was able to do it for several test accounts.
-
Hi @Michael Bowman Welcome to the community! I was going to say much what @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- suggested, you likely had an add-on/plugin that gave you the tab functionality. The trial version of the products are full products, though there is some differences in the built in functionality for Server vs Cloud products…

@Monique vdB PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN! (Super envious)
-
Ooh! I like this one. I have been contemplating breaking out my Daily and Weekly Chore lists into their own boards, vs columns on my over-arching to do matrix.
-
Thank you so Much @LarryBrock I did get to show off our award at our Post Summit AUG. I hope I can get a good group photo with it and Chuck the Buckeye to share with everyone soon!
-
No problem! Can't wait to hear more about how you all work with JiraOps.
-
Hey @shaefferpatrick Columbus is looking to start up a study group too, so once you have yours up and going, would love to hear from you about how you structured it and how it goes for you. Also can't wait to give Hi-Fives to all of the newly certified folk in the Dallas Group!

Hi @Navadeep My understanding is that, unless you are using a load balancer, that allows you to configure the cert there, you are going to need to set this up on each server that you will want to use https for.
