I can give you a more detailed answer on how to deactivate the account, if you need it, if you can tell me if you are on the Cloud or Server product
-
Hi @Seema Abrol You can deactivate the user's accounts. The spaces and pages will stay active and you can add new users to the permissions for that Space. Deactivated users do not count toward your license.
-
Hey @Rob Marshall Looking at your screen shot, you should be able to just click on the dates and edit them.
-
You are quite welcome!

When you are in the Create New Context, select the project(s) you want to have the new configuration for, in the Choose applicable context. You can select one or more projects. When you do that, the projects selected will have the new options and anything not selected will retain the default.
-
@Shawn in Van Congrats on Answering your Question! There are a lot of previous questions on this topic here on the Community. Hope they were helpful to you.
-
Hi @Robert G. Nadon You are likely looking for Field Configurations. You can go to the custom field, edit the custom field and set up a new Context. Create the context for the new selection list, with the issue types and projects it will be used for and then add the options. It looks like this in Cloud. Then Create your…

We have a date for the Columbus Tech Life Holiday Party! Dec 13th! I'll post the event invite soon, but please remember to RSVP on our AUG, but get the event bright ticket to make sure you have a space. The event does sell out!

Hi @Alexander! I don't think anyone is actively ignoring you, but these are pretty specific questions about specific plugins and apps. Remember for plugins, you can also directly contact the vender of that plugin for support. Support contacts are found on the Marketplace page of that plugin.…

Oh and FYI for the most part, only fields with information enteres will display.
-
You will need to create or edit the view screen. Some screen schemes share the same screen for edit/view, in which case you will need to create a new screen for view.

@Christian Zoepfchen Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8mb4_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '=' Looks like you might be having the same issue as seen here…
-
Hi @Jonathan Hoang The Summary field is a system required field, you are not going to be able to remove that one from the issue. There are some tricks to working around that, but they are going to involve coding and possible additional plugins

That JQL will give you all status except closed, if your end status is something other than Closed you can replace Closed with that status.
-
Hi @Murugan Mittapalli You're going to need a JQL statement that looks something like this, with changing out your Project key for JQLTEST2 project = JQLTEST2 AND status != Closed AND status changed after startOfWeek("-1") before startOfWeek() ORDER BY created DESC

Thanks @Hanna_Mielczarek Sorry that it isn't working for you right now. I didn't know about the bug @Mirek mentioned.

Hi @Rob Horan I have personal instances of Jira and Confluence Cloud. I didn't go the server route, because paying for hosting was cost prohibitive at the time, and $20 a month fit in my fairly lean budget. We have been using them to track a bathroom remodel and all sorts of sharing of household documents, thoughts, and…

Hi @Hanna_Mielczarek You can automatically assign a person with the Post Function Update Issue Field on the Create Transition. Click on the Transition that you want to have the post function set up, and it will pop up a box on the right with Options. Click on the post function. Once in the Transition menus, Select Add post…

Hello @Siddharth Anathula! Edit your Confluence page, hover over the Recently Updated macro, click on it, and select Edit. You will get a popup window with options, scroll down until you see the Maximum Number of Results, and change it to how ever many you need.

Where's the foil ball??? :D

@Jon This functionality isn't available natively in Jira. You can't get that granular in the notifications. You might be able to do this with an add-on, Jira Suite Utilities or ScriptRunner for Jira. They maybe able to help you out, by setting a customized post-function on the workflow transition. but I have not tested…

Hi @[deleted] Atlassian has this handy chart to know if you need a license for the different Service Desk activities. Check it out! https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedesk025/jira-service-desk-licensing-754977562.html It should answer your question in the first row. :)

Oh my gosh! I love this!

Hi @Rosey Ok, I did get the markdown to work in cloud it was ##<space> and it would take me to a new line, with the text showing up as header 2 styling. It didn't work 100% of the time though, and I thought it was a bit weird that it would give me a new line to type on.

Seconding the you can't be all things to all people. Why not develop a "Lite" product that is 'easy' to use, instead of forcing existing customers/environments to be shoehorned into how you think they should be using the product vs how they are actually using the product? These changes really do not make sense from a…

Thanks @antricia tran! I really appreciate your input on this topic. I am getting all of this gathered up to share with the Atlassian University group. I hope to have some plans to share with you all in the near future.

Honestly, its never too late to throw in some feedback on this topic, even if we have already started with other ideas, I am always happy to hear what people think would work.
