Jira Software 8.13 or Jira Service Management 4.13, reached EOL on November 8th 2022. Is there any updates on when 9.4 and 5.4 are going to be released?

I did get a response from Andriy in the other post and I had also put in a support ticket. I was told in the support ticket that there is a LTS version that will be 9.x and it should be out very soon. I am assuming that "very soon" is well before October. This helps with my project planning and I will wait for 9.x LTS…

Thanks Andriy, I appreciate your response. I had also put in a support ticket and was told that the next LTS is 9.x and it should be out soon. The "2< x < 5" is helpful as well. All of this helps very much! Thanks
-
Hi Andriy, Do you happen to know what the next LTS version is and when it will be coming out? I have a community post asking this question here and someone directed me to this post thinking you might be able to…
-
Appreciate the feedback, Carlos. Yes, I have read through most of that but unfortunately none of it says anything about LTS versions. I did see that other post but I must of skimmed over Andriy's reply. I'll see if I can comment on that conversation. Thanks for the suggestion.

This answer is probably 5 years too late but I found your post because I was looking to do the same sort of thing. I continued to search and found this article…

Confluence 7.13 LTS was released yesterday. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-7-13-release-notes-1044114085.html

We are also looking to upgrade to an LTS version. We're on a non-LTS version now, v 6.15.10. We were going to upgrade to 7.4.9 but there is a note on the page that says they "recommend to you don't upgrade to 7.4.x just yet." With 7.13 being so close to being ready, it doesn't make sense now to go to 7.4.x. Is there and…

I am seeing this issue as well Andrew. Have you heard anything? Edit: Just found the following. Looks like this might be by design. * https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Can-the-assignee-of-a-ticket-get-quot-mentioned-quot-notice/qaq-p/63275 *…

Looks like you found the workaround instead of a fix. I'm glad this works for you. However, if you are interested there is a Bug report submitted at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-7371

If you have the Confluence Server, it looks like they won't do it. There doesn't appear enough people voted: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-36937 On Confluence Cloud, it looks like they are still gathering interest, but again, not many people voting: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-36937

Great question and answer. This was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks

Thanks Adam, for your feedback. I mean when an agent adds a something to the Label field, does the Reporter get a notification that changes were made to the ticket and that the label was added. For example, someone (the Reporter) submits a ticket that something isn't working. The Agent thinks everything is fine, and thinks…

Priority colour is used for a dashboard gadget https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/priority-color-configuration-will-not-change-the-color-of-a-priority-s-text-or-icon-814219009.html
-
You cannot change the colour of the icons according to this documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/priority-color-configuration-will-not-change-the-color-of-a-priority-s-text-or-icon-814219009.html

That's a good question. Since I can't reproduce the issue consistently I was unable to test in all browsers. What I can tell you is we had it occur in Safari on a Mac and in Chrome on a Windows PC. I'll try again to reproduce the issue in other browsers and update the post if it happens again. I'll also check with the…

Thanks for your reply, David. I figured it wasn't something reported because I can't find information on it anywhere. We have not had any issues with the Atlassian macros, delivered or user-installed. As for the non-Atlassian, user-installed macro - we have one other and have not had any issues with it (or reported) but it…

As an extra note, 128 x 128 works well too.

Hi Andrei, Here's what I do on our Confluence system. We are using Confluence 6.2.4. The profile image is displayed at different dimensions in different areas. I've noticed the dimensions used in the following areas: * 16 x 16 pixels - user picker * 24 x 24 pixels - upper right corner * 32 x 32 pixels - icon used to…

Thanks Jodi! My users find the add-on really easy to use and the diagram does help. The user that made the diagram also makes a copy of the diagram and adds a you-are-here arrow and adds it to each project proposal page. This helps employees figure out what they need to do next to get their idea made into a project.

Great article! You kept me hooked throughout the whole story. "Who is she? Who is she?!" Ah, Tempo Timesheets. Actually, we have just started to look into this app. How long have you been using it? Madeline

Thanks for your response Sattesh. This is helpful. I am unable to view the tickets you linked to. I receive the message: You can't view this issue It may have been deleted or you don't have permission to view it. Madeline
-
Thanks Niklas, That's what I thought but couldn't find anything recent. When I typed "Trello Server" in my question, I wonder why the question and answer you linked didn't show up? Anyhow, thank you for your quick response. Madeline

@Dr Charlie this is all very good information. Pointing out that Jira SD can only link to a single KB space is important. I should have meantioned that our "agents" also use Confluence on a regular basis for other tasks and have access to many spaces. I don't think we are going to user the free access or customers to the…
-
We also have separate spaces for our public knowledge base and for KBs for our individual service desks. This sounds like where we want to go. We don't have a public knowledge base yet but we want to start one. You mention public and Service Desk KBs. Theses are two separate spaces? I've also posted a question for KB best…

Thanks @E.L. Fridge this is interesting. I will keep the CLI connector from Bob Swift in mind.

Thanks Brian Yes, it did, sort of. We do use LDAP to authenticate but it's not setup to manage JIRA access or supply information.

Hi Alex, I am a JIRA Software and Confluence application admin at McMaster University (an hour from Toronto) and we also use ITIL. Which JIRA application are you using? We use JIRA Software for the Agile tools, but we also have JIRA Service Desk (I don't admin that system but I am familiar with it). We also have JIRA…

Oh that's so cute! Love it!

Thanks @Monique vdB. @Brian Chabot I look forward to 'chatting' with you and others in that interest group. I have a few things I can post, as well.
