Thank you for the prompt response, @Pavel V . Imposing the limit without addressing the SLA situation will pose a hardship for us. Adding onto @__ Jimi Wikman's comments, if one project's scheme in an instance is maxed out at 700 fields, will that prevent the creation of other locked "system" fields like SLAs or those…

@Kai Krause thanks for highlighting this often-overlooked feature! It is super helpful, and not enough people are talking about it (myself included).

Hi @Tom Gorenbar Peled . Yes, Confluence Databases are still actively developed. @Christina Ristevski is the PM and has been very active in the community. If you keep an eye out for community-led classes hosted by Matt Reiner (k15t), Christina has joined him for some chats on Confluence Databases. K15t - YouTube

Hi @Enrique Serrano Valle . The content of your post is quite interesting. I think the article title may be unintentionally misleading. You're using Rovo to *document* decisions and provide context around them, not make decisions on your behalf. What you describe in the article seems very much aligned with human in the…

Hi @Mel Policicchio . I'm all for sensible limits that will ensure usability and performance at scale. This JAC ticket plays into what you're trying to achieve: [JRACLOUD-64188] Ability to unlock system field, to Configure it For customers that have a mixture of JSM projects and Jira projects, all SLA fields configured for…

Hi @April Chi . Thanks for creating the suggestion on our behalf! I just left a comment over there.

I've been using this for the past few days and it has been really helpful! One of the best parts is that it works within Jira Assets. If you have an attribute (field) for each object that you want to reference a Team, you just drop in the URL and it will render the friendly name of the Team.

@Dave this is really interesting and helpful!

Thanks so much, @Alex Gallien !

@Alex Gallien thanks for the thorough and helpful recap! Suggesting a minor feature enhancement related to this question: How do you get to the Agents? To access Rovo Agents, navigate to the Rovo Chat interface within your Atlassian application (like Jira, Confluence, etc.). Then, select the "Agents" tab. From there, you…

Hi @Tina Ling . After speaking with the Analytics team around nine months ago, my understanding was that all future tables would be added to Data Shares at the same time or very shortly after they were made available in Analytics proper. I remember being specifically told that I would not have to request inclusion in Data…
-
@Jared Wallen I'm nodding right now. :-) It seems like Atlassian's general approach to rolling out features and products leans more heavily on the minimal part of MVP at times. I see that most often with products that lack role-based access controls and backup/restore capabilities. They're often saved for future…

@Jared Wallen I understand the frustration, but there are a lot of customers that do not prioritize the API as much as simply being able to use the feature via the GUI. If Karyn and team waited to release this functionality until the API was ready, customers like me would be giving them a hard time for having to wait even…

Thank you for the helpful update, @Tina Ling ! Are we safe to assume this data will soon show up in Data Shares as well?

Hi @April Chi . Are there any plans to increase the link limit for Teams to a Jira project? We have some projects with more than 500 users, so 15 teams doesn't cut it for us. Ideally, the limit would be more like 100+.

Hey @Matt Dolan . Thanks for the prompt response! I echo a lot of the other past comments (in rank order): * OneNote * SharePoint Wiki Pages / Lists * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft PowerPoint * Azure DevOps * Microsoft Loop * PDF * Markdown * LucidSpark / LucidChart Having these sources available would greatly reduce…

@Tiffany Chung do you happen to have any updates on if/when some of these additional apps will be supported? Please feel free to reach out to me via my CSM, Philip Li, if you'd like to discuss use cases for a large enterprise.

This feels like technical malpractice by enabling users to adopt poor practices. * Assignee != Team * Assignee != Watchers * Assignee != Contributors Without one person assigned, there is no clear accountability / responsibility. If everyone's responsible, nobody's responsible.
-
@Howard Li you mentioned that Rovo can leverage the power of the Teamwork Graph to better understand your context. It appears that Rovo cannot directly interact with Atlassian Teams via the graph: "I'm unable to directly retrieve the current members of [team] from the Atlassian Team directory or system." In other Rovo chat…

@Ashwini Rattihalli - teams as watchers like @Susan Hauth _Jira Queen_ mentioned would be great! +1 for that idea. I'm with you on avoiding making teams selectable as assignees. In transitioning from a legacy ITSM system to JSM, we had a large internal change management hurdle around breaking free of that practice. We…

This seems interesting. @Himanshi Gaba - Any chance that it's also available for MS Teams?
-
This is really cool! Can't wait to see those cost savings passed onto customers! j/k
-
@Himanshi Gaba is this possible with Microsoft Teams as well?
-
Hi @Ashwini Rattihalli . Looking forward to the discussion next week. Here's the JAC ticket: JSDCLOUD-16103 Assigning Issues: Provide a way to interact with Teams, such as limiting Assignees to a member of the Team on the Issue.
-
I agree with @Run ; better RBAC for admins would be very helpful when it comes to Teams. @ash one key missing piece of Teams functionality is the ability to limit a work item's assignee based on the selected team. * For example - the Server team is selected on a work item. We'd then want to limit the Assignee list to…
-
Hi @Jovana Dunisijevic . I second @rmoriz 's request.

I've also noticed many times that the weekly release notes will be posted and then there will be some standalone Community article announcing something impactful that should have been included in the release notes. It seems like not all teams that make customer-facing updates are adding their content to the weekly notes.
-
As Aaron described below, the Cloud Release Blog often doesn't include every user-facing UI change.

Count us in, @Lakshmi Behl . :-)

Hello @Jolene Pern. Did this EAP conclude or is there still an opportunity to participate?
