Hi @Aditi Venkatesh it's great to see focus on enabling more functionality between MS Teams and Jira. Are there any plans to expand this feature to allow the creation of JSM Requests from MS Teams? While it's technically possible to create JSM tickets from the work item view (as opposed to the JSM customer portal), that…

Awesome news, @Minh hung Nguyen ! We really appreciate the receptiveness to the feedback in this thread and the overall effort to improve API security.

For the jira_issue_link table, is there any chance that the issue_link_type value (i.e. friendly name) could be provided along with the ID? I don't believe there's a way for us to bring in the link type name without querying the API. This is what we're currently seeing: Link type IDs are certainly better than no links;…

Thank you, @Claire Gayrard ! You and the rest of the team are continually delivering high value functionality for us and many other customers. We really appreciate everyone's efforts.

@Celina great article. Here are some: * Team-Managed Projects (for so many reasons) * The opposite of Frankenstein projects - every small team creating unique projects and schemes when they could share projects and schemes with others * Portal Overload Part 2 - Vague KB article names that make it difficult for people to…

@Sascha Weber you're spot on here. @Minh hung Nguyen Ideally we'd be able to filter or group the scopes by a couple different dimensions: * C.R.U.D.* Create * Read * Update * Delete * Product* Confluence * Jira * Jira Service Management * Jira Product Discovery * ...

Hi @Christine . Thank you for taking the time to record the Loom video. Unfortunately, this solution won't work for us as it's an entirely manual process. At enterprise scale, this kind of effort wouldn't be sustainable. We'll continue to advocate for native functionality in the platform to somehow allow for more automated…

Some additional questions for the AMA: * Based on conversations with different users, are there any common errors (technical, thought process, etc.) that Atlassian sees customers make as it relates to change management? * Are there any change management best practices that can be shared with enterprises in regulated…

@Gabi Kahananui I haven't heard anything about permissions around Rovo agent creation either, but would be very interested in the answer if you do follow John's advice.

@Julio Rosa I concur with Tuncay's response; this is not an OOTB feature. If you're not able to purchase a paid plugin, it *may* be possible to leverage Assets and automation to build a custom solution. For example, you could have asset objects representing each assignable agent with an attribute related to the timezone…

@Minh hung Nguyen thank you very much for the update on the feature development!

@Giuliano C_ now that it's the year 2025, are there any changes that you'd make to this article?
-
@Dorothea Linneweber please count me in. It was great seeing your presentation with Lucid Motors at TEAM this year.
-
@Dirk Ronsmans I agree with you 1,000% about being able to limit API tokens to an instance/site. We have multiple use cases around limiting tokens to specific environments and being able to have the control during the token generation process would be ideal.

@Jonathon Conkey I like the updated concept without the seconds. That would definitely be helpful for us. The slider was something I was thinking about within the audit log table UI. We typically do not look the audit log from a trending perspective; it's primarily used for troubleshooting or verifying specific events. As…

Thank you for rolling this out so quickly, @Georgia Cohn . I just confirmed it's available and looks great. :-)

Hi @Mamta Bodhale. I've run into @A A Ron Geister _Trundl_ at TEAM events the past couple years and the guy really knows his stuff. You're lucky to have him jump in to help so quickly. :-) The only other thing I'd suggest for your consideration would be to have a main request type / form that serves as the initial intake…

@Jonathon Conkey this is a completely different platform but I'm hoping the concept will translate well - in Power BI there is a visual that allows dates to be filtered at different hierarchy levels. I could see it being helpful to show time in the audit log as a slider with different selection options: * Month (maybe)*…

Having this data available in the Data Share is very helpful for us. Thank you for the continued attention and development effort in this area!

Excellent article, @Olga Cheban _TitanApps_ ! Thanks for sharing.

Hi @Nicole Schwartz . Since not every company uses Goals, would it be possible to swap out the actions in the header with something more relevant (e.g. create a Jira work item or a Confluence page)?
-
@william.huber there's also an upcoming AMA: Change Management in Jira Service Management. I added this question to the top of the list.
-
Hi @Eugene Pak . I'm looking forward to the AMA on the 3rd. Here are some questions to get the conversation started: * Do you have any plans to integrate knowledge (i.e. Confluence pages) with assets to better identify when system changes impact knowledge?* More details are included here: Linking Confluence Pages (e.g. KB…

Thank you for the confirmation, @Jacob Shepard. The documentation pages didn't mention the beta status, so we weren't sure.

Hi @Zhenis Beisekov and @Jacob Shepard . Is ACLI still in Beta or has it reached GA?
-
Hi @Georgia Cohn . Would it be possible to have the timestamp (Date) shown in a friendly format similar to what is shown on the main panel? I'm also wondering if now that the side panel is available if it would be possible to allow the main panel columns to be moved, resized, or hidden.

Thank you for the great article and resources, @Marie Bauer !
-
@Sam Knight we've been using these JSM restrictions quite a bit! Thank you to you and the team for providing this functionality. One thing in your post sent shivers down my spine though. People submitting / storing "bank details" in Jira could get really dicey really quickly. The callout about issue security is helpful,…

@Carlos Sarrate - You'll want to set issue security for each team in your portal. The issue security will prevent users from being able to view any work items that are locked down, even if they navigate to another team's queue from the agent side (backend). Testing various scenarios will be key here to make sure you have…

Hi @Carlos Sarrate . Kudos to you for reaching out for guidance / best practices before embarking on the journey. Everything you've described is indeed possible. I'd generally only recommend the single portal approach for smaller companies (e.g. < 250 FTEs). Once you start getting larger than that, it'd likely be helpful…
