I want to give opportunity to folks who have the passion but not the experience. I want to hire and train them and see them super successful on their role. Their success is my success and will improve my judgement.

Like many, Atlassian products were recommended to me by practitioners who loved using for their work. There was no glitzy marketing, pushy sales or over the top promises - just real features with an active community. My 2 cents to the younger generation is focus on the core and not get carried away by the nice-to-haves.

Focus more on delayed gratification and learn to understand the fundamentals as opposed to get it done for grades.

I wanted to be a truck driver. India is a diverse country with so many languages. I thought I could go visit places and get paid!

I'd like to paraphrase Martin Luther King's quote - You take the first step, when you don't see the full staircase. Entrepreneurship is exhilarating and never a dull moment. Seeing our work solving real business problems is the biggest of source of motivation and energy to keep going.
