My last (and fave) session is coming up! "Who says Jira has to be used that way?" ... sounds like an upcoming Enterprise article, eh?
-
🙌 Looking forward to the event this week!
-
@Dirk Ronsmans - DIRK! 🙌👋 Not sure I understand your... questions? 🫠
-
@Adrian Hülsmann - B1NARY - thank you very much!
-
🤔 Posing these questions to those who have made successful knowledge bases: * How did your team/s define success? What makes a successful KB? * How often do they need to evaluate their KB's success criteria, and raise the bar for the future? * What are the right workflows to keeping a KB tidy and relevant for their…

@Kevin Dea - welcome to the Atlassian Community, Kevin! 👋 One way to check the app version of a particular Jira instance is via Jira's API. This will work even if you're not logged into the Jira instance. The rest endpoint is /rest/api/2/serverinfo Example: (don't click)!…

🙌 I've been trying App Usage for Jira, and it ain't bad. Especially for the price! I cannot sing the praises enough to Atlassian University for that Jira Governance course. I wish it existed when I started out, and I was happy to meet the author of the course at the past Atlassian Team conference. ✨

@Dileep Bhat @Kapil Samadhiya - Glad to have made it last night - appreciate Atlassian's hospitality, and enjoyed the conversations yesterday! 🙌 Thanks for giving us your time, @Ben Coffey and @Kim Mooney ! Also, enjoyed playing that card game! @Andy Gladstone ... Time to teach more folks what JQL is. 🫠

@Nita Sexton - hi Nita! Create a Permissions Scheme called "Archived Projects" (or something like that). In that scheme, preserve the Browse Issues permission (so people can see the issues), but don't let anyone Edit Issues. Assign this permissions scheme to any projects that aren't active, but should still be referenced.
-
@Laurie Sciutti - yesss, agreed! Bulk updates aren't painfully obvious to users IF they even go into Issue Navigator results. Being able to easily multi-select and make edits has generally been a good thing for our users. 🙌
-
@Fabian Lim - thought I replied to this, but I will (for posterity) years later 🤣 Adding my comments: * I'm a fan of eazyBI's robust visual reports - they require expertise to craft, but you can meet niche customer requirements with it. * Structure - and Structure.Gantt - cover more ground than Advanced Roadmaps did when I…

I'm here for spaces in usernames! That Kudos search has been a major bane of my Kudos-giving existence. 🤣 And welcome @Janice ! ✨✨✨
-
@Vikki Silvers - Happy this is a feature, but wish it was available to other pricing tiers, and not just Enterprise. 🫠
-
Neat, I'm guessing you also work for a systems integrator? Lots of us on here!
-
@Sam Thing - how do we deliver the value we’ve delivered for smaller organizations, but at scale? Looking forward to learning from one another!
-
A belated welcome @Markku Miettunen ! How did you find this group? (This is the right place for you!)
-
You've encountered wild kids!
-
@Lara Cristina de Sousa - hi Lara Cristina! * It depends! 🙂 If someone is not actively working on a Task, changing the Task's status to a "To Do" type of status is best. What does it mean for your team if a Task is deprioritized? If it means "stop working on this until we actively re-prioritize it" then yes, move the Task…

You got a shout-out during the ACE! Sad to miss you during it!
-
Looking forward to this! (The Philly ACE is co-hosting!) 🛎️
-
@Kapil Samadhiya - thanks for organizing! I love keeping Jira instances tidy - such a zen experience doing that! Looking forward to the talk, and catching up with everyone. 🙌

You will also need to find (or generate) your Client ID and Client Secret Key to interact with Xray's Cloud API endpoint: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Global+Settings%3A+API+Keys
-
@yahooo myoom - hello there! If you created an Atlassian ID by accident, you can delete the account. Here are instructions to do this: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/delete-your-atlassian-account/
-
@Devesh Kumar - hi Devesh! Are you using Xray for Cloud? If so, the base URL for API requests to manage test-specific data should be https://xray.cloud.getxray.app/ Source: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/REST+API

My family has a vineyard, too! I have to ask how old it is; they turn out lovely wines.
-
I love les vins rouge! Red wine is my default choice during low stake situations. 🙌

I've got the soundtrack of Stray Gods (a musical computer game) stuck in my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjgTxgSjx2M It just came out, and I picked it up on Steam!

I've been following Technically Media for a bit, and they share tech news in the Philly Tri-state area, and then some. They also host in-person meetings every so often! https://technical.ly/

@Vigneshwaran - hi Vignesh! * In your project, add your custom field to the View screen. This way, the field's value will be visible if a value is set.* On the Edit screen, do not include the field. * On the Create screen, only include the field if you want issue creators to set this value. * Want only certain users to…
