Anytime! Glad you're sorted! 🙌
-
@Christy Kennedy - what a mystery! Is there an issue security scheme configured for DCO that Jira Automation has access to, but you don't, for some reason?
-
✨ Looking forward to seeing the results of the survey, and what insights we can make from them!
-
@Artem Taranenko - thanks for posting this! A worthy mention: cleanups are also necessary when migrating from Data Center to Cloud since there may be plug-ins (whether Jira field types, workflow post-functions, etc.) that may work differently, or not work at all in Cloud. We should continuously be improving our Jira…

@MB - hi Mike! Trello offers an API endpoint to get a specific attachment from a card: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-cards/#api-cards-id-attachments-idattachment-get You would want to first get (retrieve) a list of all the attachments on the card, then choose the ones you want. Or ask your N8N…

@Vaatiwithblue - can you share what the sender's name and email are, please? Can you also share a screenshot of the email? * Since this is a public forum, I'd crop or obfuscate any personal information (like your email address) if it's visible on the email.
-
@halil_cicek - hi there! I'd consider using Jira Automation! Configure an Automation rule to email the approver with details of the ticket. Use Smart Values to dynamically populate the email. (The Email action lets you email to any valid email address. The email doesn't need to be associated with an Atlassian ID, or have a…

Let's double-click into that statement, shall we? 🤪 Sorry for the corpo lingo on a Tuesday.
-
Double-click to collapse: When expanded, double-click the button to quickly collapse the sidebar. Double-clicking on a website? 🤔

✅ Love Checklists by HeroCoders! It's one of my favorite Jira plug-ins. Coupled with JSM's playbooks feature, checklists are the way. 🙌 p.s. The idea of supporting client sensitivity as part of their service management operations is interesting! I'll have to explore that with my customers...

I've been pondering the idea of incorporating some of these OOO planning tasks into weekly or bi-weekly updates. 🤔 Get these comms done regularly so they feel natural and quick to do (and not a chore). Having these updates available are useful (1) for folks who aren't normally involved in your projects, or (2) for others…
-
@Robert Nadon - YES! I love the idea of hooking up a Jira endpoint to a Data Connection! As a Fifth Solution, have you experimented with making a Field of the Project Picker type? EDIT 1 December 2025: The above will only be useful if your JSM instance resides where your Jira spaces are. If you've got two separate Jira…

This song popped up randomly while I was streaming music, and I kept hearing "Jira": Os Tincoãs - Deixa A Gira Girar (j g b edit) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xt8Mp8oWzc If I recall correctly, it's Portuguese? All I know is that it's a banger! ✨
-
@Ankur Patankar - you might want to post on the Atlassian Developer Community (https://community.developer.atlassian.com), and include as much detail as you can. Good luck!
-
@Mikee King - welcome to the Community! 👋 If you're on Jira Cloud, and on the Enterprise plan (or considering it), check out the Enterprise section of Community!
-
@Monique vdB - thanks for offering this badge! Taking the Rovo intro course also encouraged me to go for the Rovo Fundamentals certificate (which everyone should totally do!). 🙃
-
@Anshumaan Bhartiya - is there an EAP we can join for this?
-
Would love to have this info piped to a Statuspage of our choice. @Ed H_ - In addition to emails, could we have this info update a Slack channel? (We might already be sending status.atlassian.com updates to a Slack channel...)
-
@Peter Van de Voorde - I should try to make this, yeah? 🤖
-
@Carolina Castro - I also tested on a Free Jira instance, and the behavior is as I described... are you seeing something different? Atlassian's exams are updated regularly. You should expect to be tested on the latest functionality. (If during an exam you see a question with no obvious current answer, you can submit…
-
@Varsha Patel - please consider retaining the "[" keyboard shortcut for collapse/expand the sidebar. For me, it feels "lighter" to be able to tap a single key to hide/show the sidebar. I do appreciate that the navigation refinement makes it slightly more obvious how to collapse/expand the sidebar. Probably should have that…

✅ Registered, and sharing with my associates!

It WOULD be an interesting feature if admins could ask Jira to show high-level metrics across Jira projects spaces, and ignore issue security. On a gadget-by-gadget/report-by-report basis, I mean. Such an override would need to be carefully implemented.
-
@Joachim Sporer - hello Joachim! ⬆️ Translated from English using tool assistance: Unfortunately it's not possible…

Totally do-able using Confluence Whiteboards 😉
-
@Chao Liu - hi Chao! 👋 Try this JQL! updated >= -7d and issue in updatedBy("Chao Liu") Execute that JQL, then save the search as a filter. Of course, if your name isn't exactly Chao Liu, just change it to whatever it is. Adjust the updated value to whatever you need. I picked "7d" as seven days, but "5d" might be enough.…

Some changes with longer rollout periods (such as the new navigation experience) that have been communicated separately to org admins won’t be eligible for Freeze Windows and will be released as previously announced. @Alex Chiu - know anyone on the Product team? Please encourage them to not have "special" changes that…
-
@Joe Doherty - In your examples, I'm partial to With Support. Try to strike a balance with Statuses that express the true state of the work, but doesn't confuse your customer. Of course, take advantage of JSM's customer-facing statuses (per request type!) for the best sort of orchestrated mayhem. 😉 p.s. HI JOE!

🙏 Looking forward to these learnings hopefully ending up in other spots in Cloud, like in non-JSM space summaries!

📈 Here for it, onwards and upwards!
