You can partly turn it off with the following instructions: Turn off marking cards as complete for a board Marking cards as complete on the front of cards can be turned off for individual boards via the board menu. If this setting is turned off, you can still open the card and mark it as complete on the top left of the…

This is a new Trello feature: you can read about it here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Mark-your-cards-complete-due-dates-are-no-longer-required-in/ba-p/2933963?utm_source=atlcomm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=mentions_comment&utm_content=topic

It is a feature they are rolling out at the moment workspace by workspace... I too have one it is not on yet, but eventually all workspaces should get it. However, as there have been a lot of pushback in the community to the details on how this feature work, perhaps the rollout is temporarily on pause to fix these issue...
-
In the original announcement they have acknowledged that the strike-through is an issue and are working to make it configurable
-
As mentioned: The strike-through part does not seem to be able to be turned off for now (already added a feature request for it)
-
There is currently no way to get rid of the strike-out ☹️, but tons of people have voiced the same opion in here so I think they are aware "they messed up" not having to option to disable it

The API call needs to be a POST call and look like this: https://api.trello.com/1/lists/ /archiveAllCards?key=<key>&token=<token> I've just tested on a Test-board of mine and there it worked as expected Also make sure your token is a read/write token (but given your can add cards that should be covered)
-
Here is how you turn off this new feature: Marking cards as complete on the front of cards can be turned off for individual boards via the board menu. If this setting is turned off, you can still open the card and mark it as complete on the top left of the card. Only a board admin can configure this setting. * Open the…

And now a bit of sadness after seeing how the feature is actually implemented behind the scenes ☹️☹️☹️ It is essentially just setting the dueComplete field to "true", meaning it is not recording a "completed" date/time anywhere on the card that we can use for reporting (aka what I've been really waiting for) Granted; there…

Yay... Have been waiting for something like this forever 👍👍👍

This video shows you how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndLSAD3StH8

Premium is paid, yes, but there is also a free plan where you can have up to 10 members and 10 boards... If you can work within these limits (there is a few more limits like no custom fields in free), then it will be 100% 🙌
-
I do not know the specific rules in Canada/your specific industry, but here is Trello's Security policies and what certifications they hold: https://trello.com/legal/security (FOIP is specifically not mentioned nor is Hipaa)
-
Trello have a dedicated tool for it here: https://trello.com/support/transfer-boards ... Before you use it please read the instructions and guidance here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-to-transfer-boards-to-a-new-account/

Trello's official documentation on the matter: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/change-or-cancel-your-trello-plan/#What-happens-to-our-Workspace-after-we-downgrade

In order to run on a free plan you can max have 10 Boards in the workspace and max 10 members... During the Premium trial you can go above those numbers, but if you do then, when the trial ends, those limitations take effect again send the account in to a sort of Read Only mode untill you again adhere to the free plan…
-
Hitting the limits is not directly did the same as wrong usage... It can simply mean that there a lot of work done... But most of the time cards also gets done/or is at least not relevant anymore... It is in such a situation you archive it (or move it to an archive board) As an example, we put all cards that we are done…
-
There are a limit, but it is not a fixed count but more the total size of all cards combined. The limit is there more for performance reasons (properly why they do not mention it in pricing) than to set limit and you would get a much better experience if you arechived some cards, or moved some of them to a secondary…
-
There is no way to opt out of a Premium Plan once you are in, but it is not a problem as such as at the end of the free trial everything revert back to a Free plan. Only thing that will be "gone" is your access to custom fields, mirror cards and collapsible list with color... No members, cards will be lost
-
You will need to use the "Create a card" endpoint described here: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-cards/#api-cards-post (they have a node example)
-
A premium trial will automatically revert to Free mode as long as you do not enter a Credit Card... As far as I know just end it early
-
I don't think you can jump out of the Trial again. It will just revert back to free once it is over as long as you do not provide a Credit Card
-
Trello has their REST API that can do almost everything the Trello Client can do: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/ It is free to use the API, you just need an API key and a token representing a user you work as. This video show you how to to get these: https://youtu.be/ndLSAD3StH8 You can use the rest API…
