Hi @Ganesh Choubey D Do you want the Field "Parent Link" to be required? You could use -> getFieldByName('Parent Link') Be aware, that if you are working with translations, you'll have to check for any translated value as well. You could also check the ID of the field in the Administration. Go to Issues > Custom fields ->…

Hi @Martin Wickham and welcome to the Community! There is no "quick summary". If you are referring to the Customer view, you'll have to create and edit the Request type: Customize the fields of a request type | Jira Service Management Cloud | Atlassian Support For the issue view, the field needs to be added to the Screen…

Hi @Dinesh Sharma and welcome to the Community! What Marketplace App are you using to create the diagrams? There is no native function to do so. The App vendor will probably be able to help with your question.
-
Hi @David Mocnay to get proper Reports on the Time Tracking feature it's best advised to use a Marketplace App. The vanilla Jira functionality on this is really lacking and will not make you happy in the long run. Check the Apps out here: Jira apps | Atlassian Marketplace I've filtered the search already for suiting Apps.…

Hi @David Quiram I don't know of any. The JQL reference is decent but in the "classic" documentation format.

Check out the Atlassian Directory to find an Atlassian Partner close to you. It's a case of identifying the users and then deleting them/changing their permissions per API. Lots of Partners will be able to help with that. If you have some techy Jira Admins, they can find the User IDs in the "cwduser" table and will be able…

@Michał Pacewski Click on the 3 dots next to the field and choose "SET" rather than "COPY".
-
Hi @Michał Pacewski you will have to use the field "Parent" to add the Story to an Epic. It works the same as Epic link did before. For the Sub-Task rule, it's correct to have it as a seperate rule. You need to allow the rule to be triggered by other rules. You find that checkbox under Rule Details.
-
Hi @Troy Kenah I suggest deleting them in the UI (manual effort) or per API. Deleting them from the User table will not delete them everywhere and the user object is referenced in quite a lot of tables.
-
Hi @Chmel_ Stepan and welcome to the Community, interestingly, I don't get the Column name but only get the 3 dots on my test site. Regardless, I didn't find a way to disable that column. Atlassian has changed the Gadget to be closer to what the normal search results look like. You should find the same view (possibly…

In that case, check in with your Project Admin on the settings I mentioned above.
-
Hi @Van Dijk You cannot "customize" the message that's displayed while a queue is empty. Is that your question?
-
Hi @John Lord How are the two issues linked? Is it per "issue link" or are they in a parent/child relation (like Epic and Task or Task and Sub-Task)? You would simply listen for changes in the field in Project B and then update any linked issues or parents/children in Project A. The problem is, that Versions are specific…

Hi @Elad Eilon and welcome to the Community! Do you also get notifications on other events that you unsubscribed from? There are several ways to trigger notifications. It might be an Automation rule sending Emails - you cannot unsubscribe from those. If you are Project Admin, you can check the Project's notification scheme…

My colleague opened up a dating channel in our Company's Slack and is looking for a partner so either can get the wedding bonus and the extra day off for a pregnancy :D Note: I work in Germany, so we get off for almost any occassion anyway, so trying to get these extra days is just greedy ;)

I cannot replicate the issue when testing this with 2 Company managed projects with full permissions. If you have any faulty behaviour, please contact the Atlassian Support.

I don't understand where the problem is. I create Sub-Tasks from within an existing "normal" Task (or Request). No issues there. I am not asked for a Request Type. You cannot "Configure" the screen from the Sub-Task View directly - if you refer to the small gear icon on the bottom. That is for Request Types only. You will…
-
@Bill Sheboy luckily, there is only a very limited number of projects using advanced functions - my hopes are that I can change that with some training, once we're in Cloud and improve the users' experience :) We checked Automation rules after the clean up as a lot of them broke anyway. I consolidated some and deleted…

For any readers finding that article now.. There will be an Online Community Event based on this article: https://ace.atlassian.com/e/mgw3n4/ It's open to anyone. The more the merrier!

Oh right - still would need Marketplace Apps for it. Scriptrunner is one option like you mentioned below.
-
Hi @Jennifer Fischer and welcome to the Community! It depends on what you want to achieve? The standard field is "Due date", which might not be visible in your current configuration? It needs to be on the Screen and if you're in JSM also configured in the Request type's Issue view. There is no "Reminder" function built in…

A bit late to the party as always - I was gonna be a teacher. Latin and IT - a combination that no Uni in close proximity offered. Now I am glad that wasn't possible. Students would have hated me - probably a mutual feeling ;)

Hi @Sudharshanam C and welcome to the Community, there is no shared token per se. A token is always created within a User Account as it respects that user's permissions/restrictions. You could have a technical user and simply "publish" the access token by giving it to everbody. Not the safest thing to do. I would certainly…

Hello @Sebas Visser and welcome to the Community! Do I understand you correct in that Requesters will open Epics? So one Epic makes for One Requirement? How does the Automation decide in how many user stories to split these Epics? Usually, Requesters will open some form of "Requirement" issue type and then the Manager /…
-
Hi @lei_zou you could populate the field with an Automation rule on/after creation. If the user put a value in, that would overwrite it. You could also hide it on the Sub-Task Create Screen. There is no way to pre-populate the field based on Parent value in vanilla Jira. There are some Marketplace Apps though that might be…

No, you cannot disable the portal search. The Portal search will return any matches within the Knowledge base or the Request types. That is all down to whatever your JSM Projects have configured.
-
Hi @Karin Laurent and welcome to the Community, for proper Logged Time Reports you need 3rd Party Apps. The Jira Software Reports are only designed for tracking Estimated vs. Logged time on a project level and User Workload based on estimated times. If you want logged hours per User with filter and grouping options, there…
-
Hello @Kamil Askerov the Search function that you are pointing to is the Portal search. That will give you knowledge base articles and request types that are provided in the portal. If you want to search for a specific request that you opened, you need to use the search bar underneath "Requests". -> "Request contains..."…

I unfortuately never got myself interested in reading - even though i made it quite far in the reading competition (where you read out loud in front of a jury and audience) in 5th grade ;) I was always more of an Audio book listener but wish I could read more than 10 pages / hour. So i never read Tolkien, nor Harry Potter…

Ah right. Sorry, my mistake. I've not got my testsite connected to teams so not sure what the expected behaviour is.
