Hi @Nicole Bachus i would assume you have simply scrolled towards the left side of the timeline. I can access today (default) and +-12 months to either side. The time frame depends on view settings, but the default should always be to see the current date as orange line. Do you see a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom?

Hi @Daniel Jay and welcome to the Community, if you require advice and assistance specific to your system/use case, it's easiest to find an Atlassian Partner in the Partner Directory: Find the right Atlassian Solutions Partner They can help you with migration, customization and adoption and will also be able to help with…

Hi @Ben Robinson and welcome to the Community, what do you mean by "unable to classify"? What exactly is going wrong at what time in the import process?
-
Hi @[deleted] and welcome to the Community, what exactly do you mean? A Dashboard is merely a collection of Reporting Gadgets, often based on projects or filters. There is no "flow" or process connected to it?
-
Hi @Daniel Allin and welcome to the Community, the main problem is, that all the new Customer Management and Product Entitlement Features still don't have API nor Automation support. So whatever you add in Fields and such, you cannot access other than in the UI. My current workaround would be to have an Automation rule…

Hi @Chisato Saito Does the customer need to see the field when filling out the form? You can't make a form field read only, but you can just use normal text to provide whatever information to the customer. If you need a specific Jira field filled, you can add the field to the Request Type itself and make it hidden with a…

These ARE the issues shown in that board! You obviously don't filter any further. The only thing that might be configured is that old issues are not shown, but they still are part of the Board nonetheless. Honestly - you can ask another five times, the answer stays the same. Sorry ;)
-
"However, for Kanban, we are unable to link issues with their related boards. We do not receive any relevant information in the issue data, nor can we find a bridge to connect these two datasets." Correct. Like I said. There is no "connection" between the two other than the issues being returned by the filter. One issue…

Hi @Estelle Decanis Conditions only work for the specific issue that you want to transition. To achieve the condition explained above, you would need to match a JQL. There is an open feature request for that: [JRACLOUD-67451] Add "matches JQL" workflow conditions and validators - Create and track feature requests for…
-
Hi @Kelly.Barrantes and welcome to the Community! Could you explain what exactly you are trying to achieve here? Jira issues are not linked to a Kanban Board. Boards have a Board Filter and will show any issue that is returned by that filter. So in order to make an issue available on a board, you will either have to edit…

So If I could dream: I find similar open issues with the "similar issues" panel (on in my queue view) and link them together with a specific Link-Type. Now, anytime I update one of the issues, I want to be asked whether to update the other issues as well. In order of importance: * Status * Comment * Fields I can't say…

Absolutely second that! I recently figured out that my thermo cups (that I got gifted at some point but never use, as I don't drink coffee) are absolutely perfect for keeping a G&T cold as well. So I started going out for evening walks with my cup filled with liquid happiness & some good music - just having the time of my…

I am currently moving a customer from i-net to JSM. i-net looks like it comes from MS-DOS times and has freaky logic, no interface for the customer and generally such a bad UX. So happy to rethink the processes, build Request types and forms and integrate more Users than ever as Agents, so everyone is on board. We are…

We are no official team yet but will probably have a Kickoff this summer. So I cannot name my team today but will take that list and see what the others come up with, when we get together :)

Why is there no feature for keeping linked issues updated? Use Case: In Incident Management I might get x Requests for the same Root Cause. I can link all Requests but would still have to update them all manually. I would love to just link them all, mark one as the "main" and have them automated automatically without me…

Hi @Robin Stemmers is this a Portal-Only customer or an Atlassian Account (with Customer permission)? For Atlassian Accounts I think you need the ID to fill the reporter field. You get the ID per API Call when you have the Email.
-
Also, there is a global Setting for time tracking and the permission "Log work" in the permission schemes.
-
I don't know of any function that would let you make certain fields editable while others aren't.
-
If you've got a custom email you can check the Email server. With the default atlassian.net you can't check it, only "ensure" that the settings are correct. You can never be 100% sure, as the customer's firewall may also become an issue from time to time.
-
Like you said, Workflow properties would be the one to look at. Check the "Closed" status in the Workflow to see whether the "Editable" property has been set. Other than that, there's not really standard ways to stop Editing in a specific Status. If you can see the issue it's not Issue Level Security. If you can edit the…

@Sven Rau the Email logs only show incoming Emails. The "New Comment" entries are replies from the Customer that (s)he sent per Email rather than commenting in the Portal. Outgoing notification Emails are not logged - neither "normal" Jira nor Customer notifications. This is all in order.
-
Odd - other than firewall issues or the likes I don't have a clue. There is no Email log in Confluence Cloud so the only way to verify that would be through your Sys Admins on the Email Server?

My best advice for anyone mentioning AI in any context: don't just throw it on there. If there's features available like Summaries and that - great. But if you have individual use cases you want to solve, do the work before talking to the vendors. You'll likely not have the data and/or ressources yet anyway, but any AI…
-
Hi @Vineela Durbha can you add attachments to non-closed issues from the same issue type?
-
Hi @Sven Rau are you 100% sure it's not been sent? JSM is grouping notifications if they happen in a short timespan. So rather than sending out 3 notifications for 3 changes within 1 minute, the system waits and sends out 1 notifications containing all 3 changes after let's say 5 minutes. Not sure on the specific…
-
Hi @e-Core Support and welcome to the Community, with "standard" JSM you can only Approve or Decline. You'd need to work around that with another WF status, some automation or a Marketplace App, I am afraid.
-
Hi @Marilia Ximenes de Araujo and welcome to the Community! Can you specify whether it's Server/DC or Cloud? These Screenshots are for Cloud: You need the Edit issue Action. 1. Under "Choose fields to set" pick whatever fields you want to copy 2. (...) change to "COPY" 3. Click on the "Copy xxx from xxx" and change to…

Hi @Brittany Hegedus and welcome to the Community, do they get in-App notifications for these mentions? There is no single "Emails on" setting - 100% sure they ticked the "Someone mentions me" box?

I very much feel the "I am bad at being bad at things." I did start to do some watercolors for christmas cards and one or two things afterwards. Also did some fly fishing a couple of years ago and was good at it - i only struggled with the logistic side of things as there are no fly fishing waters near by ;) Not so new but…

I just loved hearing about it and the possibilities. We have several internal channels for communication and think we could really benefit from video content. So certainly will have a chat with the Team about it.
