Hi @Jason U welcome to the community!
-
I tend to clear out unused apps for 2 reasons: * My phone tells me I haven't used an app for x months * I get a new phone Since I'm not going to get a new phone for a couple of years, I guess I'll have to wait until my phone tells me to check if I still want that app!

Thanks @Angelie Stephens I already recommend the Get started quickly with Jira learning course to all our new starters!
-
This is a nice incentive to get people learning more about things like Rovo, but the exam did feel more like an end of course knowledge check rather than a certification, and if someone then went on to do an ACA or ACP the jump in the level of questions would be a big surprise. However, including this in the Atlassian…

Following on from that, did you add the Change and Deployment Approvers field when you created the approvals process? If so, does it have a value on the work items being cloned? It's possible that your work item creation process requests that field be filled or sets it automatically, on any work items created before you…
-
Hi @Jeremy Jones It looks like there's no-one added to Change and Deployment Approvers. That would appear to be a user picker field or a group field. How is that populated when you create a new work item? And is it populated when you clone a work item?

I try and have my inbox clean of unread emails at least once a week; since we mostly use Teams chat I keep that clean of unread chats daily, so if it's on an email it's less important. I do have a number of rules set up to categorise emails into folders, mostly ones I'll never actually read but need to have available in…

There were some excellent demos, and I had to watch several times before deciding on my favourite demo. My vote goes to 🥨🍁Apptoberfest ’25: How Scott Turned SLA Chaos into Perfect Timing presented by @Alina Kurinna _SaaSJet_

We use the company logo for the favicons, there are 2 versions one yellow writing on a blue background, and one blue writing on a yellow background; we use one for Jira and the other for Confluence
-
Thanks for the update @Chantelle Liu looking forward to this

Both a create work item trigger (or field change trigger) and a scheduled trigger would be needed to keep the calculation up to date; looking back at my original post I didn't make that clear.
-
Hi @Bill Sheboy So the work item create trigger sets the severity when the work item is created, and the source field change sets the severity either straight after the work item is created (i.e. when the field first changes) or when the source field changes. I may have misunderstood but any changes made by the automation…

We've got one team using Zephyr, but a recent audit found that it was our biggest App cost for something that only 6 people use, so they may be "encouraged" to find an alternative, but they're the ones who used JPD to create all the tickets for other teams then complained when their tickets weren't directly added to other…
-
We use Teams and Jira integration; we were using webhooks and automation to send formatted notifications to specific Teams chats / channels, but a change in company security policy has squashed that functionality so I'm looking into new ways to do that.
-
Hi @Holly Rademacher If you were to go the automation route that @Bill Sheboy mentioned, the severity would only be updated when the ticket is created, which would potentially set the severity to 0, or when you update a specific field on the work item. If you want the severity updated daily, as your calculation would…

The smell of my best friend's house

One I always forget about is the monthly brown bag session where someone in the wider engineering team presents a short overview of a new technology, process, etc, This takes the form of 2 regular activities: * I chase around the team begging for someone to present that month * Someone gives in to my begging (or I randomly…
