It would also be great to allow progress from sub-goals to be included in the progress of a goal and not just success measures, especially since the success measures may be part of the sub-goal

I remember my dad taking me to watch The Empire Strikes back, and when I got home there was a Laser Rifle waiting for me that made 'Pew, Pew' sounds: (Unfortunately not the original, that stopped working and vanished years ago 😭, but many happy hours were spent running around with friends pretending to be rebel heroes!)

The daffodils and cherry blossom are a good indicator of spring, although my daughter's little potted garden that she planted last weekend suffered a bit form a localised hail storm yesterday.

@Angelie Stephens how about adding in a way for us to reset courses we've already done (without losing the badge we've earned) so people can redo them and gain the kudos; even if only the quizzes for the course. This would be useful anyway as when I review a course I've done I would like to be able to reset the quiz so I…

Nice to see the quiz working now!

No, but until I read this for a second time I was intrigued by the idea of Bananas as swag!

One of my team uses a different version on English to the rest of us, I've never got up the courage to ask him why he uses "al" rather than "I'll" for instance, but he's been doing some documentation notes in his particular version of English, so I've recently been using Rovo to turn those into documentation for the rest…

For so many of us that Maintenance / Archiving step is a mere aspiration; I've spent occasional free time over the last 3 months reviewing our entire Confluence estate and updating / archiving things I'm responsible for, as well as flagging pages and spaces for team members to check. Sometime I'll ask Rovo to create Jira…

One of my team is about to go on a 3 month sabbatical and I'm pushing him to document what he does (especially as he's the tech lead!), having read what he's written so far, I'll definitely be pointing him at this video to help him with turning his notes into usable content!
-
One thing that seeing all these great ways of using Rovo has made me realise is that I need to keep a prompt library and add all the examples from the community to it!

@Himanshu Tiwary this article explains how to link your accounts: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Announcement-articles/Manage-your-Atlassian-Community-profile/ba-p/2958563

I've never seen those bag clips. And I'm not allowed to collect pens anymore; one of our drawers was getting full and when my girlfriend emptied it to see what was in it, it turned out to be dozens of pens that I'd picked up from exhibitions, etc. My favourites are hats and little key rings with supermarket trolley tokens,…

If you are wanting to learn more about AI and prompt engineering with Rovo, you can actually use Rovo to create a training plan for you, for example: You are an experienced trainer in the use of AI. I am a delivery manager with a data engineering team I would like to improve my understanding and abilities in using AI,…

Thanks for this information @John Murnen , I wasn't aware this was possible but I'll see if it will fit any of our use cases

Hi @Ree Kent , Thank you for the update, I have one question around this transition to Certiverse; I prefer doing certifications in a certification centre rather than online as this helps me focus, this was possible with PSI, will it still be possible through Certiverse?
-
Thank you for sharing @Gee Espiritu , it's great to be able to celebrate successes. My only complaint is that the Project Godzilla team doesn't include Godzilla (or even just someone dressed up as Godzilla!)

We don't use Databases in Confluence well, so seeing how we can create them and Whiteboards with Rovo has really given me some great ideas for use cases!
-
We're in a regulated industry, so we're encouraged to use our own internal company AI for content creation, but since we use Confluence for general non-confidential / non-regulatory note taking we're able to use Rovo to improve on that content and it's great to be able to do so natively

I don't think we have anyone who would be willing to manually drag 200 stories around on a Monday morning, but just using filters to only show the highest priority (at that point in time) epic(s) allows only priority items to be visible for refinement / planning.

We had a highly technical CTO who really pushed additional structure, but what we found was that we got less involvement from people since they relied on the structure, and then he left and a more business value minded CTO took his place. He made the point that the lowered involvement from following the structure meant…
-
@C_Faysal _CFcon_ good question, and one that trips up many scaled teams. We handle this during refinement & Sprint planning; the PO, delegating to a Delivery Manager / Tech Lead where needed, takes the portfolio level priorities and communicates those to the development team through backlog refinement. It's a manual…

The choir at my daughter's event took up about a quarter of the O2 arena, they're the ones in white at the end, there were 8,972 of them, so it wasn't a small choir: It took a while to find my daughter, but she's here: And zoomed in she's this blob: She had a wonderful time, and it was a great experience for everyone,

While I agree hands on experience helps a lot, it doesn't necessarily improve understanding of what you're doing, and often you find one way of doing something and miss the quicker, easier way of doing it e.g. keyboard shortcuts
-
Thanks for your perspective on this @Arkadiusz Wroblewski you (and @Dave Mathijs ) have made some good points. We've found that simple works in different ways for different teams; one team wants to keep very few fields on work items - Summary, Description, Status and Assignee are enough for them, but another team currently…

This is only a short trip, but in just under 5 hours time I'm going to go to the O2 arena in London to watch my daughter perform in the Young Voices children's choir (https://youngvoices.co.uk/)

We operate an architecture / design authority (DA). For this we have a key design decision log in Confluence along with an ever expanding list of key design decision (KDD) documents - one key design decision per document. If we need further decisions on any particular topic we create a new KDD. Every KDD has a page…

* The teammate who saves the day before a deadline * The one who actually reads the meeting notes * The colleague who says, “I’ll take that task” (true hero energy 💪) We have Jamie. Jamie always reads all the meeting notes, even if he wasn't in the meeting and shouldn't be able to access them, he always finds a way to read…

This story is not about me, but about a friend I was at school with. My friend works in a specialised field which tends to have opportunities only in large research organisations such as universities, pharmaceuticals or governments so he applied for jobs worldwide and ended up getting one in a US university. A lot of…

Hi @Joshua Stokes One thing you could do going forward is to create groups in Jira, e.g. Project1-Admin, Project1-Developer, Project2-Lead, etc., and assign relevant users to each group. You can then assign the group to different roles / projects. After doing that all you have to do is ask an org admin for a csv download…
