Thank you for suggesting @Craig_Harley try our app Space Content Manager @Cyrille Martin. @Craig_Harley start with using the bulk find and replace feature. Also, try the feature to bulk insert page title prefix or suffix. It could be another way to solve the problem, even if not in this case it gives you options for the…

re "does your app have a setting that would apply numbers only to a specific range of headings 5-6?" @Kristian Klima yes. As I don't know the specifics of @Jennifer Dilts needs I don't want to promise it will necessarily work for all of them. But I do think evaluating two different numbered headings apps is worthwhile. Not…
-
@Jennifer Dilts this is only a partial solution but a numbered headings app from the Atlassian Marketplace can help. Our app Numbered Headings by Easy Apps auto updates whenever you reload a page. There are other apps that do similar, some don't auto update. I don't know about equations. Tables, macros from the marketplace…

@María Ferreño Serra this isn't the solution you are looking for but might be needed at part of the transition based on what we have seen with clients. We have a redirection app, Redirection by Easy Apps. Bulk setting redirect is coming soon, currently page by page.
-
@Jonathan Sayce as part of the link manager feature in our app Space Content Manager we have created this section in our docs I think you will find useful. It outlines how to use URLs, emails, phone numbers in Confluence hyperlinks. It doesn't include sip: because we did not think about it, we need to test it. If you have…
-
@CC Lab as noted above you likely need an app (prices vary) or Confluence premium (a major cost increase). Can you elaborate on your use case. We have a bulk content editing app called Space Content Manager. It has a page tree and a lot more which we keep updating. I'm curious to learn what's the exact problem you are…
-
@Mark Tobin Scroll Viewport is paid, we use it for our docs. You have to determine if the value for money is good. Without a paid app you will be limited and unable to do more if more is requested by management.
-
@Jacqui if you would like to use labels as a core organizing tool then purchasing a label management app might be worthwhile. You will need to not only bulk create but manager them on an ongoing basis. There are a few options on the Atlassian Marketplace. We have one that is available as a separate app or as part of a…
-
@Ylva Andersson I see @Tom_Carrott_Adaptavist mentioned bulk managing content. If that's part of the problem you are dealing with more generally, I'm not sure, then I think you would find our app Space Content Manager worthwhile to evaluate. A suite of different tools.
-
@Markus Veikkolainen @federica.paolicchi we use Scroll Viewport app to power our documentation. This is a common solution to make a space/pages more web friendly for lack of a better term.
-
This is really useful post. It would have saved me time. Our docs run on Scroll Viewport. I hear you on the cost complaints. Reject Confluence and then go on and hire or buy an expensive tool. This includes those already with a Confluence license, for them it would only be a matter of buying one or two apps. This leads me…

@Evgeniy Makarov I'm a co-founder of Easy Apps, we make Space Content Manager. You have likely already realized that you need to use the 'Link manager' tab and not 'Find and replace' to edit links. The technical reason is find and replace only changes the URL text, not the underlying URL. Example: Take…
-
@Saybo Seybold as @Kristian Klima mentioned you can use an app to do bulk link find and replace. Download Space Content Manager and use the link manager tab. Let us know if you have any ideas for added features.
-
@Johan Theunissen I agree. I think it is a good idea. But to be fair it is not much of a problem, so not a priority for Atlassian to add. What we do not know is whether it is 'just an adjustment to the searchstring' or is more complicated to implement. You can create a request for Atlassian to build it. I would upvote it.
-
@Harry Friemann we have a link manager feature as part of Space Content Manager app which bulk converts smartlinks. What exactly do you want to see, it's not clear from your question. You want to know on each page which pages in the Confluence instance/space has a link to that page on it.
-
Some links that should don't work as smartlinks. But the good news is in time they are fixed, meaning Atlassian is actively improving smartlinks. https://www.imdb.com/ previous did not work. Now it does. One of the features of our app Space Content Manager is a link manager to bulk convert smartlinks so we have learned…
-
@Gary Spross spot on post. And good for you to appreciate that herding cats (cleaning up spaces) makes a difference. Take a look at Space Content Manager, it's all in Forge. It's built around the concept of bulk managing content. I come from the content side of things, and some things should be easy to fix like…
-
@Johan Theunissen this is a great idea. We have a label manager app on the marketplace. I'm not sure it's technically possible, but you never know unless you look.
-
@Mattia _Elevatic_ great point: I am also curious to hear from Atlassian whether it will be possible to differentiate between traditional and AI searches in the future. My guess is a low priority. For Atlassian it is a way to show greater use of Confluence. But to @callie.miaoulis point as a decision maker I want to…

Splitting the day with something meaninglessly in the middle helps. A great one is a fitness class/gym. The beauty of working from home is that if you are more productive you are rewarded with time, and if you take a break and come back sharp not only do you get more done in less time, the quality is generally higher.
-
I know maintaining the knowledge base doesn't get as much attention. It's not as fun as creating and adding features with apps like Aura and Karma, yet a key to ongoing engagement. I'll add to section 'Use Confluence’s Built-In Tools to Organize Content'. Sometimes it worth to app a paid app, which both Aura and Karma are.…
-
@Paul Skinner you can bulk add a title page prefix or suffix, one of the tools in Space Content Manager. This is easier than making a copy of pages and less problematic as all the internal links will stay the same. Select all the pages you want to change and in a few seconds add a prefix and/or suffix.
-
Pages are essentially locked when archived. There are good reasons for this, my point is it makes sense that we have to unarchive a page to edit it.
-
@MJ Valencia -drawio diagrams- great to see draw.io join the Forge party. Are already lots of Forge apps for Confluence on the Marketplace, see this searchable database of Forge apps.
-
@Falcon, Leanne you can evaluate Redirection by Easy Apps for free. Create a redirection on a page, takes 1 minute, then you will have a good idea if it is of interest. Note: we are adding a bulk redirection feature in a couple of months. So if you have a lot of pages it will be great, this is a top request. Open an Easy…
-
Hi @Falcon, Leanne we make the only Redirection app for Confluence cloud (Redirection by Easy Apps). Are you referring to our app which creates a macro on your page? If the redirection is set on the page it will remain when you archive the page. But you can no longer edit it. If you need to edit the redirection, for…
-
@Caliman Forts looking for tools that work with Atlassian products? To track what exactly. For example the use of Jira and Confluence.
-
@Christina Georgieva this might only help with part of what you want to do but you can bulk add title prefix or suffix with our app Space Content Manager (Confluence cloud):
-
@Whitney Nicholes keeping Confluence pages update to date is a team effort not matter what the space is used for. At least key data like if change the name of something to avoid mass confusion. A suite of tools to bulk edit across a space is why we built Space Content Manager. PS can enable/disable features, even by user…
-
@Luc Comeau I know this isn't what you want to do but if you can't solve this and need to bulk change the smartlinks to URLs it's one of the features of our app Space Content Manager.
