Hi Kristina! There is no native functionality for this. One thing that comes to mind is writing your form answers to a google sheet from your google form on submission. You could then use something like Power Automate to take the responses from your google sheet and create a ticket with that data. ~Hope that makes sense :)

I tried out the IT Assets template and it was a huuuuuge time saver

Totally understand. I was surprised when I found there are no options for changing this currently, at least from what I know. Ours doesn't seem quite as annoying as yours since the curser tends to be mid screen and the minus icon is mid bottom.

Perhaps another community member can answer that. This works for me since I am creating the ticket in the same workflow and then using the Key for the just created ticket to call the attachments API and add the attachment. So it actually ends up being two calls. one to create the ticket and one to add the attachments.

That makes sense Dan. I'm just starting to play with it and wanted to make sure before I got too deep in. Thanks!

Hi Mayur, The attachment API URL is https://<yourinstance>/rest/api/3/issue/<IssueKey>/attachments You need to make sure you have the header: X-Atlassian-Token = no-check I'm using power automate to enter the File Name and the Body/Content of the message as in the image below:

I’m having to deal with this problem as well. What my team does is instead of downloading it you can just reset the size with 1 button click and it goes back to 100%. Not ideal but maybe 2 clicks less than downloading it and opening it in word/pdf reader.

Oh yeah, just hit 10 🎉🎉🎊🥳🥳

Interesting, I thought you were in JSM. Not super familiar with the differences in JPD.

The easiest way is to go in the project where you are having the issue, go to project settings > Workflows. You then need to select the workflow (If you have more than 1) and edit it by selecting the pencil icon to the right of your screen. Then you need to select the transition that points to your Done status. On the…

This was the nudge in the right direction I needed. Thanks @Brant Schroeder !

That makes sense Peter. From my knowledge, you will have to set up those alerts either by implementing a SaaS management solution OR by leveraging your applications APIs to check licenses. For O365, HERE is a decent article on setting up alerts using either logic apps or Power Automate. You could change it so that instead…

For your statuses, If they are in "Done" status and are not showing up as resolved then your resolution is not being set when you close out a request. I would suggest checking the transition to Done and ensuring there is a post function that transitions it to a "Resolved" status i.e. Done, Won't Do, Duplicate, etc.

When I stand up a new JSM project I immediataly navigate to the portal > Customize > Edit Home Page Payout. There you will be able to see all of your project portals. You can then "Hide" a project specific portal from showing on your home page by hiding the project using the "eye" button until you are ready. You can still…

HI @Daniel Zapata Welcome to the community! One of the best things you can do is share your knowledge by answering questions and helping other community members!
-
@Peter Aldana When you say business apps, do you mean 3rd party apps, not Atlassian licenses? If so, JSM automation will accept webhooks, but the logic for sending a webhook to Jira to create a ticket would need to be configured in your 3rd party app.
-
If it is project specific, you can hide projects from the portal until your portal config for that project is ready. Not sure if that is what you're asking though.
-
When you navigate to Project Settings > Customer Notifications, Do you have the Request Resolved notification turned on? I found in some testing that you will not get the CSAT survey if you do not have this turned on.
-
Hi Craig! Welcome to the community! The CSAT email will go out as a separate email from your resolved notification email. You can add yourself as the reporter for a ticket and close it as resolved. Sometimes there is a delay, but you should get the CSAT email within 10 minutes or so.
-
If you don't need any of the more advanced functionality you can actually use the free tier of Jira Service Management with up to 3 users. You can then set up your mail handler and begin receiving requests via email. Minimally, you will need at least JSM.

Hi Chasity! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This is a place where you can ask questions about things you are working on in any of the Atlassian products and get answers/feedback from the community here. If you're ready, you can also help others by suggesting or answering questions other users ask. The community is…

Most likely someone that you work with added you to their Jira instance as an agent.

For the first part of your question you can set up an automation that assigns the issue to a user in a group via Random, Round-Robin, or Balanced Workload. The next field below the "Assign Issue" shown in Florian's screenshot will allow you to do that. For the second part, e.g. assigning the issue to the last user that…

Hi Jennifer, First thing you will want to check is under the project settings and then Details. At the very bottom of that page you will see a "Default Assignee" option. You will want to make sure that is set to "Unassigned"

If you're in the Microsoft ecosystem and have access to Power Automate, their are connectors between Jira + Azure DevOps. You will, however, need a premium Power Automate license to use the connector. Here's a link to the docs Azure DevOps - Connectors | Microsoft Learn.
-
Hey Joanna, You should be able to do that. You can map your form field to your Jira custom field. The custom field will need to be a multi-select. When a user submits the form, the data will be input into your Jira field and then can be copied over to your subtask with automation.
-
Hi Roman, I would create a group with all the agents in the projects inside it. Then you can create a simple automation so when a new ticket is created it emails everyone in the group.
-
Now that I am looking, I actually used the Oauth method to create the connection. I tested using the email and API and have the same issue as you.
-
Are you using a valid email address for the username and your API token for the password? I'm assuming your using the Jira connector for Power Automate?
-
Have you configured the webhook itself in System>Webhooks in addition to configuring the post function in your workflow?
