Hey @Suchita Rawat , I'm not quite sure about "active users" I think you may have to end up removing the users altogether. This is a article that might help https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-articles/How-to-Downgrade-Jira-Software-from-Standard-to-Free/ba-p/2045188. The comments in the above article also…

Hey @Leslie Martin , The Api response won't be the same, that is why you'll need to extract the value that you need and then pipe it as a individual variable to your webhook. The other alternative that I can think of is, to use the users Uid and fire a curl command in your destination machine that fetches the User ID there…

Hey @Vivek Kumar Aggarwal , Welcome to the community. I would vouch for the "Email Requests" that have been mentioned in the other threads, I would also like to propose the "Incoming Mail handler" as an option too : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-issues-and-comments-from-email/. This…

Hey @Nicolas Basilio , Based on the permission scheme your project use, who ever can "Browse Projects" they can access these attachments, else you'll have to make your project open to "Public" (which I don't recommend usually). Since you're using JSM, you can onboard your external users as "Customers", this way they will…
-
Hi @Leslie Martin , You're right the email is marked as null at my end too. What you can do is extract the UUID and pass it as a input to this API : https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-users/#api-rest-api-3-user-get. The output from this API can then be passed back to your system. To…

Hey @Vigneshwar Kotha , Do let us know how it goes after editing the body of the API request. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issues/#api-rest-api-3-issue-post , as the documentation "reporter" field doesn't seem to be needed.\ If this thread helped solve your issue, please mark it as…

Hi @koduru.priyanka , Can you share an image of what error you get when you try to sign-in?
-
Hey @Jakeer , I tested this at my end and it seems that you will have to use the "Custom Data" instead. To get the data required to pass in the custom data you can use this API : https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issues/#api-rest-api-3-issue-createmeta-get.…

Hey @Mattice Dossche , Thanks for the images, In your use case what I'd suggest is trying to add the customer's outlook email as a User in your site, this new user should be given the "JSM Customer" Access so that they can access the attachment, while not being billed as a regular user.
-
If you use the Validate Web request, does the body contain the email then? Perhaps you can share the body from one request with the imp info blurred out.
-
Yupp That seems like it. Try removing that from your Salesforce API body too and retry the API
-
Hey @Jakeer , You can use the below action in Jira Automation: Reference: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issues/#api-rest-api-3-issue-post
-
@Vigneshwar Kotha , for the postman API you need to use Basic auth. Uswrname is your Jira username, and password is your API token. Note: pls delete the previous image since it have your token visible.
-
Any option to display the Error response along with the error code? Also, do you configure the API on a desktop app or is this via a Browser app or Curl? Since each might have a different syntax. Have you tried firing that API via postman too? Or a different tool perhaps too see if the platform from which you're firing the…

I checked the Jira issue data using this page https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/issue-data-jira-format-payload-for-send-web-request-action/ Here you can see that the email field is available : https://jqplay.org/s/x9ISHc39ua6 I'll try this out in my system to see if I can replicate the behavior mentioned.…
-
Hey @Leslie Martin , Thanks for the update. Few things I can suggest: * Try using the "Validate your web request" Option to see if the API works first * I'm assuming you're sending data to another system, does this system accept Jira's issue data format? I'll check the Jira JSON structure too in the meantime too see the…
-
Hi @Leslie Martin , Welcome to the Community. Please can you add the answers for the below points: * You trigger a Jira Automation when a new JSM ticket is created? * Can you share a snapshot of the automation that you've configured to achieve this? * Have you tried using the "Log Action" to see what value is printed for…

To check the Issue linking setting, go to "Issues -> Issue Linking" : --- Glad to know that you found a solution though :-). Just to be sure, hasLinks() is not available out of the box rite? I assume this is using some JQL add-on. .
-
In the last Image I added, you can see an error, perhaps you can share the error you receive when the 400 response is shown. If you're using an internal Saleforce related UI, and no error is displayed there, you can check the browser network tab to see the error (use F12 to open Dev Tools and then open "Network")
-
Hi @Zandi Dezman , Thanks for sharing the images, can you check the Issue linking and see if the configuration is similar to this:
-
Hi @Vigneshwar Kotha , I checked the request in Postman, and it works with the body that you provided. What custom fields are these? There is a chance that you've got to update the format for them "customfield_10204", "customfield_10172" I tried a Multi-line text field and got this response :
-
Hey @Vigneshwar Kotha , The Post request would need a Body to send, would it be possible to share that as well? You can paste it as a "code block" In your response so that it is more clear to view.
-
Hi @Seydou Camara , Did you check the admin.atlassian.com users tab? Perhaps one of the site admins or Org Admins disabled these users?
-
Hey @Osama Al-Areky , Workflow's are associated with Issue Types and don't have a dependency on Boards, the error that you face is due to the updating of an ACTIVE workflow, to make changes follow this guide here…
-
Hey @Mattice Dossche , The behavior sounds correct to me. If your user isn't logged into the instance they should not be allowed to view/download attachments (else it makes your attachments open to anyone on the internet). To check if a user is logged in they can simply open a new tab an enter the site's name in the URL,…
-
Hey @Zandi Dezman , Thanks for the update, tried it out at my end and you're rite it should be opposite, and it works as Expected as well, I'm attaching some images below to try and explain the use case better: (using IDP-6 as the Issue-1 in my use case) * issueLinktype = "is blocked by" AND key = IDP-6 the reason IDP-6 is…
-
Hey @Jakeer , You can use Jira Automation if you'd like to achieve this with minimum effort. If the JSM project is on the same site, then you can use the "Create Issue" Action and pass the trigger issues data via the action. If it's in a different site, then Jira API should be the approach I'd take. You can use the create…
-
Hey @Zandi Dezman , While using the jql "issueLinkType != "is blocked by" ", you've asked for all issues that don't have this linking, now in your use case Issue-1 " is blocked by" issue-2 and issue-3, in this case Issue-2 and Issue-3 will be excluded by the jql(as the expected output in your answer), But in the same use…
-
Hey @J P , You can raise this as a suggestion in support.atlassian.com/contact/, Atlassian support can create a ticket at their end for this or if they already have a ticket they can share it's info with you too. Hope this helps.

Hi @Ajithkumar , The api https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v2/api-group-users/#api-rest-api-2-user-get should return the users email too, please can you share the API that you've tried maybe that will help identify the use case.
