@Derek Knudsen This isn't a great answer, but I did take a moment to test out your use case and I was able to replicate the issue. So it appears to be a bug. I also tested the identical Validator, and the same issue occurs there. At this point, I'd recommend navigating to http://appf.re/support or…

Hi Rasajna, If I'm understanding correctly, you're going to need to update the notification scheme. You have "Reporter" and "Assignee" receiving notifications for "Issue Updated". You can probably safely remove everyone from "Issue Updated", and make sure they're in "Issue Transitioned", "Issue Commented", or whatever…

@[deleted] To accomplish this with JMWE, simply add the "Set issue fields" Post Function, choose Summary for the Current Issue, then use some simple code to add the Start Date after the Summary: {{ issue.fields.summary }} - {{ issue.fields.customfield_10057 }} (Replace the custom field number with your custom field - JMWE…

Let me take a stab at this. First, labels need to be added to the issues themselves. Open up an issue and press L, which will highlight the Labels field. Add a Label that you would like, then do this with each issue. Let's pretend you labeled your issues A, B, and C. Next, open your board configuration, select Swimlanes,…

I'm experiencing the same behavior using your JSU configuration. It's possible that you've encountered a bug. I can get this to work the way you want with JMWE, but not with JSU. Just wanted you to know that I am able to replicate the issue. Let me know if you happen to have JMWE as well, and I can share that solution.…

You could also replace "status=done" with "resolution is not empty" to account for workflows with different final status names.

Just a note @Darshil Kothari - it sounded like you wanted to remove users from a group. Be careful with the "DELETE /rest/api/3/user" command that Ashish suggested, as it will delete the user completely, and not simply remove them from a group. If you want to use the Rest API to remove users from a Group without Deleting…

Hi @Jason Liu Evn from Appfire here. We make JSU. If I'm understanding correctly, what you're looking for should be possible with JSU, but only during a Workflow Transition. Here's an example: What I've done is added the "Update Any Issue Field (JSU)" post function, and then selected "Add a Precondition" - in this case, I…

Karen, if this ended up working for you, don't forget to Accept David's answer :)

So privileged to be part of such a great team.

Hi Dmitry, Evn from Appfire here. I wanted to piggy back on what Mikael said to let you know that JMWE from Appfire allows you to add a Condition or a Validator to your Workflow that prevents a transition based on the status of one or more Linked Issues. Let me know if you have any questions! Cheers, Evn

@Kirstin Seidel-Gebert I'm hoping you've been able to find an answer to this in the past year, but on the off chance that you haven't, here it is: Atlassian Cloud uses unique identifiers for users, not username. Here's how to find that: * Select Filters -> Advanced Issue Search and "Switch to JQL" if you're in Basic mode.…
