It turns out we had two releases with the exact same name in the same project. How? Not real sure but may have had to od with version sync which we no longer use. Not sure of that just guessing The solution is: * See if you have two releases with the exact same name (try to edit anything about the release, I tried…

Right but without even typing any characters there is a an [ All Users] selection which list every user in the company but that one. It is all done through LDAP, and I am sure it has something to do with that. That is why I was wanting the code/procedure that creates the list. The recently accessed does work and after…

Also note on this is that I created a sandbox system and using the same browser different tab the behavior does not happen?!? Only my production version (though the sandbox was an exact copy just on a slower VM)
-
OK cool. I created scripted custom field to count the values in the multi select field and there are only 0 or 1. That should help. I do get nervous about changing the DB, but I could just create a sandbox and do it there first.

Hi @Nic Brough [Adaptavist], You said the process is a nightmare to do in the opposite direction (multi to single select). Well my customer just asked me to do that exact thing. I am trying to talk them out of it, but if I fail any thoughts on how to do that? My only thought was to create a new Select list that has the…

Thanks I did. I will let this thread know when I have an answer. There is something amiss as many of my users are getting timeouts now as well...
-
yeah I saw that but nothing changed and it was working before today. I may add the increased timeout at bootup and may open a support request... Thanks.
-
Turns out that the time in status only updates after close which does not work.
-
FYI With using some hard-coding for ID's and Values this command gave me what I wanted (I believe) select customfieldvalue.textvalue, jiraissue.project, jiraissue.issuestatus, jiraissue.SUMMARY, jiraissue.issuenum from customfieldvalue inner join jiraissue on customfieldvalue.issue=jiraissue.id where…

I will play with getIssueHistoryList and see if I can get the data somehow.

Thanks. I think I do not know enough about tine in status as I run: jira.sh --action getFieldValue --issue "DGAGENT-103" --field "Time in Status"Issue DGAGENT-103 has field 'Time in Status' with value:And nothing for a value.
-
This did it: issue.getAttachments().find {it.filename.toLowerCase().contains("readme.txt")}
-
Unfortunately it is case sensitive. I will have to find a way to .ignoreCase
-
I know this is really old but this is the way I did it. I needed the user to have an attachment called ReadMe.txt so I added the following scripted validator and it works. Script workflow function : Simple scripted validator : Checks script: issue.getAttachments().find {it.filename.contains("ReadMe.txt")}
-
Actually that may be exactly what I am looking for. Thanks!
-
I was able to work around this problem by using the CLI, so Add $cli/jira.sh --action addComponent --project "MyProject" --name "MyComponent" none of the above solutions work for our instance at 7.2.6
-
your missing the * issue.fixVersions*.name != 'Release1'
-
Wow that did it!!! THANK YOU!!! We are good the exact script above (with the obvious replacement of the name of the cascading field worked perfectly. Case closed
-
Looks like the only answer I can get to work is this https://innovalog.atlassian.net/browse/JMWE-178 which allows me to create a Calculated Text field which will display the parent, and see that instead of a post function copy. That answer is less than ideal as then the cascading select and the components can be out of…

I tried Script Runner use a script as a post function and get the identical error. I will try to do this on the production server on a dummy project just to make sure it is not the sandbox. On the production I get this error. And it only has script runner installed.... /secure/CreateIssueDetails.jspa…

Thank you so much for your help this is really got me beating my head. It does not seem to like getCustomFieldValue for product-component. This was in the JIRA logs: /secure/CreateIssueDetails.jspa [jmwe.plugins.functions.SetFieldValueFunction] Error while executing SetFieldValueFunction:…

What my question should be I guess is how do I print a string of the parent value of a cascading select list. Here is my sample code I have tried many different samples found on the web/answers none work. import com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issueimport com.atlassian.jira.issue.CustomFieldManagerimport…

I believe I understand the confusion here. I am first just trying to return the value of Product-component to a text field for now, as I cannot even seem to get the value of the multiselect field. If I can get the value of Product-component, setting the field, I think, will be the easy part.
-
Thanks Vijay! I appreciate the help... What post function should I use with the above? * Set Field Value to constant or Groovy expression * Update Issue Custom Field * Copy Value From Field to Field Actually product-component is a cascading select and product is a regular select. The above "option" is the product-component…

I am having the same problem, what I will probably do is to import them into the new custom fields. From there if I do not need the data I will simply delete the custom field, for the other I will do a global copy field to the correct field. I recommend that you create a feature request for this though as I would vote for…

A reboot fixed the problem

Yes I am a member, but I can go in with an admin ID that is not, and the same results. I have tried multiple browsers. As far as javascript yes good call, though I am not sure what to do with them: Your are trying to create a ToggleBlock with selector '.twixi'.One already exists with this trigger so has been ignored.…

OK thanks, I am going to recommend that we change back to having multi select for those fields. The reason they wanted it to be single selection is to know which release the issue was originally found in. I will recommend if they want that information that I create a custom field to store the information and move versions…
