Hi @dada As a followup to @Andy Heinzer's comment I'm just noting that we've gotten our internal security team to test the SQL injection attempt noted above. Their conclusion was that with the information provided and technique used they were not able to identify any SQL injection exploitation. If you believe we've missed…

Hi @Luis Plaza, thanks for your question, I can understand your concerns around receiving a large surprise in fees from AWS hosting so I’ve looked into this a little for you. The high level about attachment indexing is that only text based docs get their contents indexed (.pdf, .word, .txt, etc…). We'll write to S3 the…

Thanks to your eagle eyes @Rick Carini I've gone and fixed my comment and will notify the team internally to get that page updated, it's indeed incorrect. 🙏🏼

Hi @Avin Singhal, I’m a PM working on Confluence DC and currently focusing on security. I appreciate your comment and hear your concerns around Confluence security, stability, and upgrade requirements. On the security front I can say that we are treating the vulnerabilities raised in 2023 with the upmost importance. We…

Thanks for the details @Ravi Varma To be clear, we wish to end support for data source connections being established for when the Confluence Application makes a database connection. I don't have a complete understanding of how the SQL for Confluence app works but would it be possible for there to be a JDBC connection set…

Hi Akiva, Thanks for providing your feedback to us about how our public bug tracker jira.atlassian.com functions. I'm the newly appointed owner of the site and have been recently looking at how it can be improved in the way that it serves our customers. This means improving the customer experience both in how the site…

Hey guys, Just for completeness here is the fix that was given in the support ticket: This is not a supported fix and it is out of the scope for supporters to troubleshoot proxy problems so this fix may help but we cannot gurantee it, it has been recently untested and it is not something in the pipeline unfortunately. We…

I've just seen this in a case from a behind the firewall customer, they: * Turned on plugin safe mode * Disabled the System mail plugin, and then reinabled it * Went to create/test the handlers and it worked * Then turned off safe mode, and it still continued to work. We are looking into as to what may have caused this.…

Thanks Matt, the current approved process is to log problems with KBs on support.atlassian.com and a support engineer will take care of the rest. I acknowledge that this process isn't a perfect experience for our customers and will be seeking to improve it if possible. There will be an update if/when this happens.

It's great to hear that our support team do their best to help fix these types of problems as quickly as they can. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll be looking into options that are as easy and frictionless as possible, though if we do route customers to support.atlassian.comthen having a dedicated request type is certainly…

Hi Matt, Thanks for reaching out about this issue, I'm glad to see you're both interested in the health of our knowledge base and are wishing to provide feedback to it as you always have. Hi Thomas, Thanks for your question there. It seems that your instance at the moment with GH 5.8.4 is looking for a global rank field inside of your .xml backup. It won't be finding it because this fiels did not exist from when your backup was made back with GreenHopper 5.7.4. We would recommend getting your JIRA 4.4.4…
