Like everyone here, we use Slack integrations. For brainstorming, we rely on a mix of Confluence whiteboards and our own Ideation for Confluence app. We also make extensive use of Refined sites to collaborate on content that will be published in our Help Center.

Hi everyone, I’m doing a bit of digging with the AI Define feature. Which terms should be highlighted with it? Should they have a definition created by someone, or can they just be ones Rovo finds somewhere on my Confluence site?

We’ve been experimenting with a bunch of channels the last couple years. Each one has its pros and cons. The key is to find the right balance of effort versus impact. Atlassian community is great since the audience is already there. Our own blog helps us reach a wider audience searching for solutions, though ranking is…

Totally! Each term can mean something different depending on the team or context. You’ll often run into multiple definitions and metadata for the same term. That’s why when working with the highlight engine, it's key to configure it properly. You can choose to show all definitions, or limit it to specific ones based on the…

Great article Zoriana! Totally agree with your point about visibility. Status updates are only useful if people actually see them and have enough context. We have an app for that Content Status for Confluence (perfect place to promote it :D). We let users add a short message explaining the context of the status and what…

looking forward to it, See you there!

Hi @Bill Sheboy Thanks for bringing this up! Yes, the app is currently free during its beta period, and we’re planning to transition to a paid model in early 2025. We’ll make sure to update the Marketplace page with this information to clarify the app’s future for everyone. Thank you for your feedback, and please let us…

@Jason Hills Thanks for the shoutout! We're glad to hear Yorktel is loving our Glossary and appreciates our focus on data security. If you have any feedback, feel free to let us know!

I might be a little biased here (who isn't based on the comments 😄), but even though there are apps specifically built for certain teams and use cases—whether it's product ideation, testing, or capacity planning—most apps, especially in Confluence, can be used by all teams. Here at Vectors, we look to build on Confluence's…

Our marketing team—aka, just me—is currently using Jira to keep projects and tasks organized. The native features get the job done for the most part. In terms of OKRs, I found Upraise from Amoeboids super helpful (simple yet intuitive). As for content creation, I primarily use Ideation for Confluence and whiteboards to…

Hi @Katheryng_salgado, Confluence might appear bland at first (which in times is). But it is kind of designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. The objective is to get users started quickly and then begin formatting their pages as they get to know the tool, native macros, templates and third party apps. I often…

Hi Robert, I’m Fares, the Product Marketing Manager at Vectors. Yes, you can create terms directly via REST API. Endpoint: POST /rest/glossary/1.0/create/term/{spaceKey} To upload a list of terms, you can leverage the import feature which allows you to upload your terms in a variety of file formats Check out our YouTube…

Hi Sydnee, I believe you have built your glossary using a Confluence page not a glossary app right? In that case, Confluence native search capabilities (be it the search bar, advanced or live) can only point you to the page where the term is created. To be able to search for and highlight specific terms you might want to…

You can check out Glossary for Confluence available on both Cloud and Data Center: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211800/glossary-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview With Glossary you can create your own glossary hub filled with terms and metadata including labels, synonyms, acronyms, and more. If you would…

There is that and "In the realm of ...". You just know it is AI. I think AI should be used more to build on the ideas that you have already generated and brainstorm. But writing in itself should be done by the content creators. We are just better storytellers for the time being at least.

Kudos to everyone who voted for our app FAQ for Confluence, and best of luck to all!
