Hi @rebecca.m.kornblum To get around the limitation, we're using emoticons from the Emoji menu. The general consensus is that a) it does the job, b) it actually works better because it does not break the text so much as a dedicated big frame.

@adi.bengaldotan This might be possible with workflow app You can review my Community article about workflows on Confluence AND the comments with tips about apps. There are might be non-app options but they would require automation and other features that are Confluence Premium only. Typically, the debate is about pages…

Hi @Rishitha Vummaneni and welcome to the Community. The linked guide did not work for you because it only applies to Confluence DataCenter. There is an app called Scroll PDF Exporter which, on top of producing much better PDF exports, allows using API…

I agree with you, I've dealt with the exact same requests on this forum several time in the last couple of months.
-
Hi @Eliot Martin 'dumb smartlink' is a beautiful oxymoron :) You can only narrow it down to a specific entry
-
@Uta Samaga well, there seems to be an app for that :) https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222381/attachments-manager-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud I can imagine using this app, or a similar one, for house cleaning, albeit for just a couple of months if I had to deal with legacy issues within my Confluence.…
-
Hi @Uta Samaga Go to Space settings > Content > Attachments There, you can reorder the table by Attachment size (click Size). Hope this helps.
-
@Ferry Portier Yeah, that's what I couldn't replicate - when I entered the Permissions edit mode, I used ticked on/off the Select all field, I was able to remove the user from the space once I Saved the changes (see the grayed Save button next to Cancel - it's easy to miss when you have a wide screen and need scoll…

Like this :) (you need to have the file on your computer's drive)
-
Hi @Alex Koxaras -Relational- - there was another Community question describing the same behavior posted yesterday, clearly, something's changed at least for some users. @Ferry Portier - so you go Select all / Deselect all and when you Save the changes, the specific user retains VIEW permissions, correct? I wasn't able to…
-
@[deleted] That should be in the Atlassian's Confluence docs :)

Hello @Serhii Cherednychenko and welcome to the community. It seems that anyone who has the permission to delete a page can also delete a version of the page. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/delete-restore-or-purge-a-page/ Providing we're talking about the native Confluence page history version. Or is…
-
Hi @Brendan O_Brien This is the expected behavior. A shared public link is an add hoc HTML link constructed for the sole purpose - to allow anonymous users to access that specific page. Downside is that ANYONE on the internet with access to that link can see your content on that page. That link is different from the native…
-
Hi @Bob and welcome to the community. Can you provide a screenshot (with sensitive info blurred)? I'm having a hard time visualizing this. I was able to do the following ...and it works as expected (the macro expands). The standard TOC macro always contains the headings on the entire page, no matter where you put it. (I…

I see, a form of conditional content - yes, it is possible to cherry pick content on a page but you need a suite of apps for that. Scroll Documents with Variants for Scroll Documents. Basically, you use labels and the apps to denote which pages and/or sections of the pages (down to specific sentences) you want to export /…
-
Hi @jeroen_vandervelden and welcome Yes - Space settings, see the screenshot. First, you select the format, in the next step - on the screenshot, select what to export and tick off the pages you want. Hope this helps.
-
I'm not a CSS expert, I have to say. Also, a lot would depend on the specifics of your content.
-
Just the CSS option in the Confluence site's settings, afaik.
-
Then @Mathilde Martineau you can only achieve that thru CSS. If you don't have the app, you (your admins) can always install it. Apps come with a trial period so you can plan to testing them before rejecting them or committing to subscription.
-
Hi @Mathilde Martineau and welcome to the Community. Try PDF Exporter by K15t - it produces much better results out of the box compared to the standard exporter and has a ton of options to tweak the look and feel (no coding needed). If it works, go for it if producing PDFs is your every day routine.

Gi @reynaldo and welcome to the Community. Navigate to Confluence, cog wheel to reach Settings, Look and Feel section. If you wanna go all out, like we did with our Documentation center, you can use apps such as Scroll Viewport (that we're using because it doesn't need anonymous access enabled in Confluence spaces to…

Hi @Sean Manwarring _Izymes_ Funny, I just wrote this last week :) Workflow options in Confluence

HI @Tarannum Siddique Try this navigating to this section.

Hi @[deleted] I'd contact Atlassian support directly at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ After you fill in basic details, you'll have an option to start a chat - with a real person. Typically, they'll try to replicate this immediately and if they confirm, and there's no known remedy, they'll create a bug ticket.…

@Teodora V _Warsaw Dynamics_ Thank you! :)
-
Hi @john terebey To export a single page, you can do it from the three dots ... menu on a page in the view mode. PDF and Doc formats are available in stock Confluence.
-
Hi @john terebey and welcome to the Community. Presumably, you mean the Layouts tool that gives you two (or more) columns on a page. Hope this video helps.
-
I might have some immediate hope for you, @Matthew Brandabur , see my reply :)
-
Actually, @Matthew Brandabur ... you can :) Sort of... OK, it's a little hack of a concept but it would help you accomplish smth similar. There are two methods I can think of now. Method 1 Scroll Documents for Confluence by K15t works with a concept of a 'document' - which is a virtual representation of either the entire…

Hi @Saurabh Ramya and welcome to the Community. Check if the image files are a) actually files, b) actually attached to the page (you can verify that on the Attachments page for the specific page. If it's a link to an image, the image should display providing the permissions (both within Confluence and in the external…
