Hi @Chris Rainey I'd start with comparing the tree structures of the two spaces using the Space Settings > Content > Reorder view and checking the page information (page details) of both pages. (I'm using a similar two-space approach but instead of moving the pages from Drafts to KB, I'm syncing the pages from my Source…

Hi @Kateryna Berdnyk You're not the only one... :( https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/When-exporting-documents-from-Confluence-some-attached-images-do/qaq-p/2891417 I vote for the app that @Yulia Lenina _AppFox_ recommended. (As a content person though... a Confluence page that takes up 17 pages long…

@Serghei Golipad - I haven't used the app for a while but I'm pretty sure there's a settings option to define if you want to include this or not. https://help.k15t.com/scroll-pdf-exporter/5.14/cloud/get-started#id-(5.14)GetStarted-Defineexportsettings Macros Show 'Table Of Content' macro output If checked, the Confluence…

Hi @Jaime Marín and welcome to the Community. Those are sites that you have access to (but may not necessarily be able to manage). For example, I see three other orgs' icons because I used my Atlassian login to access JSM of app vendors or was invited to participate as a guest. My team-mates do not see them - because they…

@Piyum Alwis OK, so there are two ways to export a document (providing document = page). * Directly from the three dots ... menu * and from Space Settings > Export Space After you select PDF, there'll be an option to 'Select what to export' so you can deselect all and then select just the one page. What I'm trying to…
-
Hi @Piyum Alwis and welcome to the Community. When you say export... do you mean export a page to Word/PDF, exporting a space, etc.? Do you use any app for export and/or to handle images? Are the images actually attached to page (listed in the Attachments view for a specific page). Are the page a part of reused content…

Hi @Rob Mkrtchian _CAIAT_US_ A view from the other side. I'm a user, not an app vendor, and I was approach to beta test the apps on several occasions - mostly by large(ish) / well established marketplace partners who could spend time and resources to get in touch and organize followup calls etc. But there's another…

Hi @Hakim zada and welcome to the community. See Settings > Configuration > General - Internationalization

@Betany Riley I thought it was a bug when someone mentioned this the other day in their Community question... I'll have to find time to see if I can get the same result by another method. However, as has been pointed out on this thread, there are apps that can provide the same core functionality as my DB 'hack' such as…

@Tom_Carrott_Adaptavist I forgot to check the latest edition of Panorama (despite using it this morning for a different purpose) :) You're pushing the updates really fast :)

Hi @Serghei Golipad and welcome to the Community, Take a look at Scroll PDF Exporter. It's much easier to customize your PDF exports (no CSS needed) than the native Confluence exporter.
-
Hi @Ylva Andersson and welcome to the community. You may want to take a look at the Copy Page Tree app (it adds more features than just mere copying). If your use case is more complex, such as synchronizing content from one space to another), Comala Publishing and Space Sync for Confluence are my go-to apps.

Hello @Lacheta Aanand The simplest approach would be to create spaces for the specific level of access needs and corresponding user groups. Your user groups would be Public, Internal, Confidential, and Strictly Confidential, progressively restrictive when it comes to membership. Those groups would be then specified in the…

Hi @Romain Claudot and welcome to the Community I wonder if you're not running into permissions limits on Confluence Free. I'm going purely by your question's title "Migrate some space into another (images URL issues)" but I encountered permissions issues when I copied (synced) content from space A to space B. Some apps…

Hi @Michel Feddema This side of an app/macro from the Marketplace, I can only think of using a different method / tool to attract attention to the expandable content. Here, I placed it into a table cell using vertical and horizontal arrangements combined with H3 headings.
-
@Nikki Hailey You don't have to allow anonymous access on the compound space.
-
@Nikki Hailey Are we talking multiple permutations of users for individual pages? Ad hoc, as per immediate need, approach is possible but looks rather taxing. I would try to reduce the number of permutation by creating user groups and apply restrictions on pages as per user group. It depends on your setup and needs but…

I just replicated the process and this is the example of the text file that was produced: I'm using Text Editor on a Mac and I only saw text...

Hi Meher and welcome to the Community. Observe the vertical bar at the side of the table. Just grab it with the cursor and resize at will. In my table, I have an Expand macro. Table within a table is not supported in Confluence Cloud Personal opinion: speaking as a content person, I would avoid a table within a table…

@Helen Snowball Of course, the sheets needs have sharing enabled but you can limit that to people within your org. This method also opens opportunities to embed Google Slides presentations in a nice format. More on this in my community article.
-
Hi @Helen Snowball What works for me is using an iframe macro to embed a Google Sheets document. Of course, it helps your Confluence and Google environments are under one SAML SSO scheme. But whoever looks at the page, they can see the latest version of the spreadsheet.
-
Oh, I see. I saw the Free product plan and there are limits - no public spaces. The easiest way, if you're on Standard and above, is to open space to anonymous access. Which is big no-no for me that's why I use Viewport. (there are theme apps that require public access to work). If you're OK with a public confluence space,…

@Gintarė Radzivilavičiūtė Typically, that would be your IT or DevOps department. While it may be possible that you have admins outside of these two departments, when it comes for permissions, and perhaps, provisioning users, IT/DevOps would be a good place to start.

Hi @Lloyd Bullard I'd try to address it in the source.... ensure that the link to the PDF file remains the same. If the PDF is version controlled and the goal is that users always access the latest version, then it'd be prudent to ensure this happens if people bookmark a link.

Hi @Margaret A. Sands and welcome to the Community. It's fairly easy to do Natively in Confluence - with one limit. * Go to the home page of your Space. * Click the three dots ... then click Copy. This modal pops out: * Choose the target (location) of your copy. * Ensure to select Include N Children. HOWEVER: As you can…

Hello @Rodney Espinoza and welcome to the Community. Not sure which chatbot you have in mind but it is possible to integrate OpenAI API with Confluence API and deploy in your own solution. Our in-product AI assistant is using our Confluence content. It's not a conversational bot, though, as AI tends to get confused the…

Hi @Toby Moore Yes. On the Free Confluence you have only one option - an app. What I know that what works 100% is Scroll Viewport by K15t which does not rely on Confluence permission and can create a public documentation portal from Confluence content even from private spaces or Free Confluence. Your site can look like…
-
@Hendrik Knöll Excellent! In hindsight, it makes sense, a version is de-facto a snapshot of the content clearly intended for viewing.
-
Yes. For example, on my site, there are space for documentation and space for intranet. I don't want intranet folks to mess up with documentation, so I created a special user group for intranet contributors - that group does not have access to documentation spaces.

Hi @Michel Feddema I recommend reading this: How to Best Use Permissions and Restrictions in Confluence in addition to this basic page: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/what-are-confluence-cloud-permissions-and-restrictions/
