And the MAIN sponsor ... Williams did not have a title / main sponsor for 5 years, so this is big

Hi @Otis Hill This might help: How to build a product documentation solution in 30 minutes It's my article on building product documentation on Confluence. (expansion on the article is here)

I see... well, there might be an app... or you can consider displaying images by way of HTML links. Go /image, then select Link, then paste the html link... This way, you should be able to create a 'database' of image and then simply point to them using the links.

Hi @Pawel and welcome to the Community. Depending on what attributes of your pages (and what you wanna do with them)... * Confluence Databases - if your first column is a page link (more on this here although it might be slightly out of date...), then other columns can be set up to list attributes of those pages - last…

Dobro sam, @Luka Mack , hvala! :)
-
Hi @Anantha Krishnan and welcome to the Community You can use the Excerpt macro - multiple excerpts on a single page, then use Insert Excerpt with the specific image.
-
Zdravo @Luka Mack , kako ste :)

@Hans Polder The free tier could be the reason especially if the app is free for 10 users. There is subscription and 'billing' but billing is 0.

Hi @[deleted] and welcome to the Community. You can try changing the space key before you export the space, see if the import works, than change it back. On your target Confluence, also check archived spaces. Clicking go to Settings will take you to where you find all thrashed spaces. (Sorry if you've done this, but many…

That is correct, Joachim. Refined can only work with content on the space level. Scroll Documents can, for the lack of better word, create virtual space-like entities. It can be a section of a space, sections of multiple spaces, versions of spaces, and... virtual translated spaces. Refined cannot tap into these virtual…

Hi @Piotr Zawada Depends on how strict your policies are :) What I'm doing is that I have a private Free Confluence where I created a bunch of Lorem Ipsum pages that have features I use most in production. Then I install and test apps on that Free site. Not only that, many apps are free for up to ten users, and as I'm the…
-
Hi @Piotr Zawada See my answer to your other PDF question.
-
Hello @Piotr Zawada Unfortunately, the PDF export feature seems to have worsened in the recent months. But I think the links to Confluence things was there for quite some time. What I can advise is testing Scroll PDF Exporter app by K15t. It produces much better results, creates self-contained PDFs, has a ton of…
-
@Mihai Schwarz Unfortunately, most of the articles are about PDF exports on Data Center and Cloud and do not apply to Confluence Cloud.

Hi @Tsevas, Athena and welcome to the Community. You can sort any tree level by alphabet but you have to do it by individual parents. In other words, you cannot choose the entire 3rd level content of all 2nd level parents to be sorted alphabetically. As you can see, the AZ icon appears on the third level to sort pages on…

Hi @Chunzhu Wang Just a word of caution: this is a public community forum so everyone on the internet can see your posts. Therefore, I'd avoid posting private and/or sensitive details here.
-
@Cyrille Martin I've no idea one could do that! Thanks!
-
@Sanjivani Iyer As to your "Or is it possible to have a vanity URL mapped to the underlying confluence pages?" question... You can have your content under your domain with an app. This is our doc site generated from Confluence with Scroll Viewport app (by K15t). There are other apps that put a 'skin' directly on your…

Hi @Zishan Malik and welcome to the Community. You can 'Star' a page and then click Recent on the top bar, and selecte Starred. That includes starred pages across all spaces. (the gif doesn't show my actual starred pages for privacy purposes :) )
-
Hi @Qasem O Jira, JSM, and Confluence have a free version (free plan) for up to 10 users. Some advanced features are not available but those versions are production ready, can be deployed for smaller teams and can be expanded with Marketplace apps.

Hi @Göran Brännström and welcome to the Community. I've been long removed from on-premise Confluence but transclusion/inclusion should work. Basically the idea is using the normal GUI, put an image on one page inside an excerpt macro (or its Data Server equivalent). On another page, use insert excerpt (excerpt include)…

Hi @Joachim Straub and welcome to the Community. When it comes to * displaying localized content * in a public documentation site * that's Confluence based * but doesn't look like Confluence you have only one option as far as I know. Using a suite of Confluence apps by K15t (they're based in Stuttgart). * Scroll Documents…

Actually, @Omar Bouchouari ... just to clarify, are you looking for numbered headings within a page (that can be sorted with an app) or a non standard pattern for numbered list indents? I think it's the latter but I wonder if I misunderstood your question :)
-
Hi @Joe Brink I'm sorry but I'm not using this app so can't really help you with practical troubleshooting :( I think you've tried everything you could think so it's probably time to get in touch with Appfire support https://appfire.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/11 and just ask for help.
-
Hi @Juliette Seureau and welcome to the Community. I suggest that you contact Atlassian Support directly. This Community is a public forum and everyone on the internet can see what you posted. Even as Community Leaders, we cannot access your Atlassian org/Confluence site.
-
@Mohammed Shaheen Approve feature was never a part of Confluence - you were using an app all along. The screenshot that you shared comes from an app. Besides, Atlassian cannot shift a feature to an app. Apps are created by independent companies. It's very much like apps on Apple's App store or Google Play.
-
@Mohammed Shaheen Yeah, that's an app that you must purchase from the Atlassian marketplace. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/144/page-approval-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud See my answer to your question to learn how it works.
-
@Mohammed Shaheen The feature you're using is only available thru a marketplace app. That needs its own license. If you're on monthly plan, the app license must be renewed every month - by way of paying the invoice. So I'd check if everything is in order there. (Same applies to annual plans but on 12-month billing period).…
-
Hi @Omar Bouchouari Short answer is no. Having said that... the ordered/number list in Confluence is primarily used to denote a sequence of steps that must be performed in the specific order. Your desired pattern is typical for, for example, legal documents where there's a need to reference specific section from another…

Hello @Abubakar Khan and welcome to the Community. It depends on what 'better' means to you :) To me, when it comes to the notion of 'collaboration', a proper workflow app is a must. From approval process, thru checking for outdated content (if that's your thing), to ensuring documents are created in private... My…
