@Patricia Modispacher _k15t_ Congratulations, you beat me in the length of an article :)

I locked the structure and could add and edit at content at will. It locks the structure, not the content. In other words, you cannot add new columns, but you can add entries.

Hi @Martin Vali I have over 1200 pages (rows) in my Database so that doesn't seem to be an issue. When pasting content, you just need to make sure that you're pasting content that matches the field. For example, in my Page Link column, I could only paste a page's URL. Trying to paste text resulted in Similarly, you cannot…

Hi @CC Lab and welcome to the Community. You can do that in the UI. * You can use Content Manager (Confluence Premium and Enterprise) and simply filter the content by the last updated parameter which you can define as needed. * You can use Databases (once you get all the pages into the DB) * You can use an app like Pages…

Hi @tymonomyt and welcome to the Community. Somebody came across your site and requested access. Whether the intent is malicious or not, I don't know, but there's certainly no 'matching' feature in Confluence. It's up to your discretion to grant or deny access but if that's not familiar, simply deny them their request. If…

Hi @Amit Pant and welcome to the Community. * You can make your documentation space open to anonymous access.* to make it look less like Confluence, you can use a theme app like Refined, or Spacecraft. These apps put a skin over your Confluence space but to make them available to customers without a Confluence seat, you…

@Mark Tobin If that's the case, you may find my Community articles useful :) * How to build a product documentation solution in 30 minutes * Conditional content and why you should use it

Hi @Mark Tobin You can create multiple subsites in Viewport, so you'd have one landing site and then product specific sites - like here: https://help.k15t.com/?l=en The advantage is that search on the top site works on all subsites, search on the subsites is confined to the content of the given subsite. As to how you…

Good choice!

Hi @Manisha Boodhun-Rambojun You may wanna look at Live Editing in Confluence. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Early-Access-Live-Edit-Pages-Create-and-edit-without-the-need-to/ba-p/2673118 It does exactly what you want to achieve :) It seems it's still in the early access program - but other wise can…

Hi @Céline - Maestrel and welcome to the Community. Not by default - unless you use a theme app from Atlassian Marketplace - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/ . Just go there and search for 'theme' - there's plenty to choose from. As for the size, I recommend sorting it when creating images - a screenshot 100x100 pixels…

Hi @nitin and welcome to the Community. You can create a list of Expand macros where each expand macro would contain content for a specific country. Or create a table in which the first column would a list of countries and second column would contain expand macros with the country-specific content. Other than, you would…

If it's the 'presentation' use case that drives your need, you can do it like we do on our public docs site.
-
Hi @Micheal Planck Columns are a structural page element which is why they can't be inserted into a macro (me thinks). Basically, they're one level up in hierarchy. As a workaround, you can create a dedicated page with the desired column layout and use the Include Page macro on the page where you want to reuse that content.

Hi @Kristine Just a reminder that this is a public forum of users and experts and anyone on the internet can see the content posted here. So I'd refrain from sharing personal details such as e-mail addresses, site addresses etc. Atlassian support, that's a different matter.

Disclaimer: I'm going to play the role of Devil's Advocate :) Isn't the purpose of public pages to share Confluence content with folks who do not have an account on that specific Confluence site? If edits / comments are expected, then there are Confluence Guests. A space can be made public with various levels of…

Hi @Melissa McMahon Based on this article, Hub is only available for Premium and Enterprise tiers. HOWEVER, it does, annoyingly, appear on in the bar of Confluence Standard which it seems you have. If you can't see the Hub permissions as outlined on my screenshot, it's probably because you see Hub in the Standard's UI but,…

@Asvini Selvam You can also try Breeze by B1nary.

I don't know how you manage your users in Confluence, but obviously, your guests would not be included in any SSO setup you might run. So it's safe to assume they log in with an email address and a password. Generally speaking, links (and embedded content) do not work if the linked file/page is not public... unless both…
-
Hi @Maja Jacyszyn Late to this party but the easiest way might be using Space Sync for Confluence by Ricksoft. You can sync content among the spaces * A -> B, C... * A <-> B * every which way :) The idea is to update a page (or create a page) in A and sync it to B (you can automate the process using page statuses via app,…

Hi @Ryan Rhodes and welcome to the Community. We're using Okta and have external users (proper users, not 'just' guests) who do not have Okta 'accounts'. As to how this is set up, I can't tell, that's literally not my department, but that mixed approach is possible.

Adding visuals as a holiday decoration :)

Hi @Charla McLeod-DeVoe and welcome to the Community. As you're not revealing the name of the app (there are quite a few approval apps in the Marketplace), it might be hard to troubleshoot - and app vendor's employee are probably active here in the Community. I'll make a couple of educated guesses. A) Permissions * Space…

This one was presented at an Atlassian Community Event in Prague 3 months ago. Page Tree Visualization for Confluence https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216954/page-tree-as-process-map-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

Hi @Meera Palange You may try to use Confluence Databases. In this article, I mention how to get all the pages from the space into a database (I hope everything still works... DBs are changing fast). Then it's a question of configuring columns and designate one for the owner information, one for text input. (I checked…

@Yulia Lenina _AppFox_ I tested your app not long before the question was asked (as both you and your team surely know :) ) and still had it installed so it was just a question of making sure I remembered correctly.

@Bimochan Shrestha Check the answer @Ollie Guan gave in this thread - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Account-questions/Move-my-community-history-to-my-personal-account/qaq-p/2900220

@Ollie Guan I'm going to bookmark you answer! :)

Hi @Liesbeth K_ and welcome to the Community. It sounds like an authentication issue / conflict. Can they access the linked document if they try to access it from outside of Confluence? In other words, when they try to access the docs NOT as Confluence guests. This is, typically, not an issue if access to Confluence and a…

Hi @PM BA You wrote "Currently, Confluence is installed on a local machine" but your deployment type says Cloud. Those claims are mutually excluding - server/DC vs cloud - but the deployment type impacts the option you have for sharing selected content for selected users/groups.
