HI @Yang, Yishen Since you're new here... this is a public forum and content can be seen by anyone on the internet so you may want to refrain from sharing links to your Confluence sites and spaces. We can, of course, help you with advice and solutions (as @Harshit Grover did) but can't access your site.

HI @David Washbrook and welcome to the Community. There seems to be a bug affecting exports - I already opened a ticket with Atlassian Support. See the following thread for details. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Export-to-PDF-feature-exporting-the-whole-space-instead-of-just/qaq-p/2899587

@Silvia Llumiquinga - please, refer to @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ 's post on this thread. Once you click NEXT, you'll see the option to customize the export and only select the pages/sections that you need.

@Koloman Pfeffer That's true about the labels. Having said that... * A shot in the dark idea... what about Live Edit mode? Might be harder to manage but combined with restrictions might just work for some statuses/status transitions... * A crazy idea... this would involve an app to sync two spaces but... you could have the…

Hi @Martin Seale and welcome to the Community. Unfortunately, importing content from a doc file is always a lottery as Word can introduce all sorts of complex xml structures that can't be resolved. What works for me may sound tedious but it always save me time - because I didn't have to do extensive content cleanup that's…
-
Hi @Silvia Llumiquinga Just to avoid ambiguity... when you say Folder, do you mean folder as a feature in the Space navigation tree that has a bunch of child pages but has no content in itself? Generally speaking, you can export the entire space as XML, CSV, PDF, HTML - from Space Settings, and, with a help of an app such…

Hi @Shruti_Gupta and welcome to the Community. I think the easiest way is to use Excerpt Include and Page Include macros. The idea is that the hidden content is in a restricted space / on a restricted page (either by way of Permissions or Page restrictions) - as a page or an excerpt on a page. Then, in your space, you use…

Hi @HR and welcome to the Community. If you go to https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing you can specify the Team size. The prices are then calculated based on that team size (user count) and are displayed for individual tiers. You can then select Annual or Monthly billing. So for the team of 100, Standard…

@Koloman Pfeffer Sorry, I misread 'Problem is, that I can't use this with automations, where only the predefined statuses'... So basically you need 7 statuses. As an idea... could labels help? For example, if there's a Review status, it could have two 'sub-statuses' - Review status + Ready for Review label AND Review…
-
Hi @Koloman Pfeffer I just created a custom status 'Holy Carp' and created an automation rule that assigns that status to a page when edited.

Hi @Cameron Smith and welcome to the Community. We have a similar setup at Emplifi - an internal and a public doc space Oh, disclaimer - I'm a customer of Atlassian and app vendors I mention here :) Anyway, we have a single Confluence space and then use dedicated apps to build to distinct sites. * Scroll Documents +…

Hi @Peter and welcome to the Community. Would this help? https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/analytics-1044780333.html (I'm on Cloud but based on the docs, you can break down the analytics per user and see their activity (reading, editing, etc.).

OK, so I hit the limit... I changed the whole doc to Apple Chancery - and it was rendered as Times New Roman. Then I change one paragraph to TNR and embiggened the font, and I changed the following paragraph to Ariel. The rest remained in Apple Chancery. Chancery was replaced with TNR. But those changed parts are rendered…
-
@Gregory Pope Could this be a browser setting? My Times New Roman document was rendered in Preview in Times New Roman....

Hi @Brigit Jensen What happens if you try to move the page from Space settings? Space settings > Content > Reorder Then find the page and try to move it to desired place (drag and drop - do not click, drag and drop :) ). Then return to the regular space view and see what happened (just click on the offending page) Note:…

Hi @manu and welcome to the Community. Every guest can access just one space at a time. So when you add a guest to Confluence, you must assign a space to them after you invite them. Clicking Manage settings should offer you a GUI to give that guest access to a specific space.

Hi @[deleted] You can simply put a heading in front of the include page macro to create a TOC entry for the included page. Here be dragons /here be page include macro (I admit, not the ideal solution as it effectively duplicates the title....) HOWEVER :) A solution would be to use a TOC ZONE macro. Deploy the TOC Zone…

@Nita Sexton Automation on Standard is a thing of the last couple days, and there are usage limits compared to Premium but then... space don't get created as often as pages :)
-
@Jonas Solberg Maybe that's not needed. If it's supported in Confluence Free, you can import HTML there, do the necessary content cleanup and sanity checks, then export the space as XML and import it to you DC. (I find Cloud editor better equipped to deal with imported idiosyncrasies than the Server editor).
-
Hi @Nita Sexton You can create a rule that is triggered when a space is removed/archived. We have a DB of all spaces in our Confluence space and, sadly, every time we create a new page, we have to add it manually to the DB. To expand on functionality of spaces and content manager, you can try working with apps like…

Hi @Rupan Kumar Das In the TOC macro's setting, I checked the Include section numbers option and my PDF came out with section numbers. Unless you are referring to numbering of the navigation tree (the left hand side section in Confluence). I can only recommend that you check out Scroll PDF Exporter by K15t which I believe…

Hi @sharon and welcome to the Community. This is really App specific so I'd advise to contact Appanvil's support directly at https://appanvil.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/7 @Patricia Modispacher _k15t_ A personal note: I used Karma a couple of months ago and as far as I remember, it basically creates a new…

Hi @Gregory Pope and welcome to the Community. I wonder if it's a case of font substitution - It seems that Confluence is creating a preview and substitutes fonts if the original font is not available. Example, I uploaded a document that uses Aptos - and I'm pretty sure it was converted to Ariel (left). When I changed the…

@Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM True that :D

I looked at the code of your website and Your non-captioned videos are missing this element <div data-media-caption="true" data-testid="media-caption" data-renderer-start-pos="464" class="cc-1h83rgl">Member Search video tutorial</div> If you create a blank page and insert the same two videos (one that has and one that…
-
Hi @Alessandra Curcio I was able to bring up the caption option clicking on that small 'six dots' modal that appears next to the upper left corner of the video. See the video of my video :) Upon saving the page, the caption was under the video as expected.

Hi @JOHNNY and welcome to the Community. You're linking to Confluence Datacenter documentation, notice the variant switcher If you switch to the Cloud tab... there's nothing as you can't modify CSS (only for PDF exports). On Cloud, you can use, as @Atlass Monster suggested, an app, either as a macro (adds specific…

Perfect timing :D

This is seriously cool... my team have imported content from 4 HTML sites to Confluence over the last 12 months (sites that originated in MadCap Flare, Paligo, and Zendesk) - with good old fashioned copy-paste, page by page, method. If this works as advertised, it will be a game changer because 'how do I migrated my docs…
