The task report macro is pretty flexible: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/task-report-macro-590260009.html

You just need to create a group in G Suite - then when you connect to G Suite from Confluence, just sync that group. Alternatively, I believe you could use the new SAML SSO support in Cloud and just limit from G Suite the users who can use it.
-
Can't you limit this through the G Suite admin console?
-
If you are using cloud, you could try this new add-on that was recently submitted to the marketplace as part of the Codegeist 2016 hackathon: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/qron-replace/cloud/overview

I don't think any of the standard macros will do this, assuming you want to highlight specific hits within the page content. You would need to create a custom macro to find and highlight hits within the page. However, why not just use the find button in the browser?

Atlassian Connect allows you to automate content actions in Cloud using the Confluence API - depending on what you are trying to achieve, the easiest approach could be to build a javascript add-on that runs in the browser. Alternatively, you could try the Confluence Command Line Interface for Confluence Cloud, which gives…

@Andrew Kiser how exactly does the progress tracker in your Wordpress work - is it automatic or does the user need to acknowledge progress in some way? If this is an off-the-shelf Wordpress plugin, can you link to it?

BTW if you want to add more refinements, like a label, then run an advanced search query with the parameters you want and look at the URL it creates in the address bar and use that as your pattern. This guide to CQL will also help you construct your URL…

That was just an example to show what's possible. Without building you own extension, it might be easier to add your own custom search to Chrome. See http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/create-custom-search-engines-google-chrome/ Your search string will look something like this:…

It is possible - for example, this is what Cloudo have created https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/co.cloudo.confluence.connect/cloud/overview

It is currently in beta in Confluence Cloud: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/collaborative-editing-828790374.html

I'm not aware of a way to add a task without editing, you can only mark a task as complete (or unmark it). Is this because you don't want to send a notification?

Better examples using branches e.g. the current Google example only has default, but once you start using branches you have to delete the CLOUDSDK_CORE_PROJECT variable from Bitbucket and set it manually for each instead

Out of the box (so to speak) there isn't a way to do this. Confluence Cloud supports anonymous access (so you can have public content), but there is no way to add something like a basic auth password to the site. Maybe you could talk to https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/instant-websites/cloud/overview about adding…

If the domain for your Confluence instance ends in atlassian.net then your wiki is Confluence Cloud hosted by Atlassian.
-
It won't give you the same layout as the Excerpt macro, but the Page Properties macros might work. Alternatively, you would need to have someone develop a custom macro for you to do this.

Yes, the rich text editor in Confluence doesn't appear to support the Control + Shift + V command. If you are just copying and pasting other web content in Chrome to Confluence, you could try installing an add-on from the Chrome Web Store to help strip the formatting? BTW have you considered raising this issue as a…

There is nothing special about the status macro as a piece of content - it sorts like any other text column. If you want to enforce a particular sort order, you'll need to add a letter or number to control it. For example: 1 Todo 2 In Progress 3 Complete 4 Failed
-
No problem - its actually a great idea for a macro.
-
I don't think there would be an easy way to do this without developing a custom add-on. The easiest add-on would just give you a series of macros for 1 star, 2 start etc, however it would also be possible to create a macro that works like the colour picker on the Status macro.

Via user management for Cloud you can set the default application for all users (JIRA or Confluence) - see https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/manage-application-access-744721629.html#Manageapplicationaccess-Setupdefaultaccess But I don't believe this will work for anonymous users (or its a bug), so I would suggest you…
