Yep, definitely. JPD ideas are basically Jira work items. So you can create and edit them, update field values, add comments, etc. The only thing that you can't do via the MCP today is add insights, but you could point agents to the Insights API for that.

Hi @Rachel Gonzales , did you sort it out? if not, could you please reach out via support so we can investigate in your site? Thanks!
-
@Paris Fisher Yes, you can set that up however you like: everything in one space, a space for requests and another where teams work, etc.
-
Thanks @Dmytro Moroz ! we're currently working on expanding/collapsing levels @Mathilde Vialle we're working on information density too - see how we can show more on screen, reduce empty space, etc.
-
Hi everyone, we gave access to everyone who asked up until yesterday (comments I've liked). We'll give more access tomorrow @Richard_Donnell @Karl Mahrenholz
-
Hi @Kendra Crossman sorry I missed your comment - not yet, it's in the list of things to prioritize!
-
@Ricardo Santos not yet but it's planned! well, clarifying, Goals as parent of ideas (not delivery items)
-
@Rayne Cypher The short answer is no: you can't show delivery tickets in Jira Product Discovery views. Instead the recommended approach is something like this: Basically you have one level of ideas that you connect to delivery tickets, and you show the delivery progress field for those. E.g. see this section from the…

Indeed @Kevin Hoffman , I had missed that one - fixed, thanks

Hi, we're currently working on adding better support for hierarchies in the timeline view to do things like what you're describing. In this example "refactor user profile data" might be a milestone that has 2 ideas (and you can clearly see their relationship. Would that help?
-
@Grafton Elliott did you mean duplicating a view or duplicating a space? Both are possible * To duplicate a view (e.g. board view): from the left sidebar > ... > save as new board * To duplicate a space: when you create a new space, choose the category "product management", and choose this option:
-
Hi there, JPD does work with delivery projects that are TMP or CMP It's just that when creating a JPD space, it's using a TMP set up (no CMP option). I'll clarify on the post, thank you for bringing this up!
-
mmmmmh looks like we missed something here - I'm meeting with the team tomorrow to discuss, thanks for trying it out!
-
We fixed it, we're now rolling out the fix (I don't know if it's a matter of hours or if it's up to a week - it depends on a number of factors)
-
Everyone above (on Premium) can access the feature now! To everyone else: we'd love to hear your feedback!
-
Done for the comments above
-
Hi everyone, FYI the tree view now supports multiple types per level, turns out that was an easy one. We use it ourselves with Bet -> Solution -> (Feature, Iteration)
-
Hi everyone, everyone above should have access now. As a reminder, after we give you access I'll "like" your comment as confirmation.
-
Thanks @Kate ! And no worries at all @Bill Sheboy - you both ask and answer many questions in this group and it's awesome to have you here 🙌
-
@Bill Sheboy wait - there are no "Roadmaps" in free/standard, just Premium, unless you meant a timeline view called "Roadmap"? If so, then that should work: To try this: go to space settings > features > create ideas, and click to preview the contributor experience (that way you're sure you're viewing this with contributor…
-
@Bill Sheboy let me check with the team - it works in a space for sure, I hadn't checked in roadmaps - maybe that part wasn't released yet?
-
Thanks @Bill Sheboy - I didn't write this post (Rovo Dev did), I thought I checked all the links but missed that one! Locked filters should be the default for everyone - if you're a contributor, you can't remove anything from the filter, you can just filter further.

Hi all, timeline views now support weekly granularity: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/By-popular-request-weekly-granularity-for-the-timeline-view/ba-p/3220273

@Gerardo Arnoldo Martínez I fixed the link, thank you https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/what-are-release-tracks/

OK cool. There's no "global work types" by the way in Jira Product Discovery, every type is scoped to the space - but you can connect across spaces.
-
Hi @Brian Pearcy , did you figure it out? Indeed you can't create global types, but you can reference ideas of different types in different spaces like so. And as long as you use the same type name in these spaces, it works:
-
ok that's weird then 🤔 could be a different issue. What I explained makes sense if user 1 has an account but not user 2. we'll look into it. but for that we may need a support ticket to investigate on your site. To create one: top-right of any view in JPD > Feedback > Choose "get help from the support team" and mention…
