That's awesome. If you use global fields, moving ideas between projects should be a relatively easy exercise (and you'll keep all connections between ideas). It's usually best to start with a small number of projects though (keep it as simple as possible for as long as you can 🙂)

Hi @Christian Mahlknecht , you are right the option is gone. That's because we changed how ideas show up in Jira work items (epics, etc.). You now have an "ideas" section there, and if you click on the idea you get the summary and pinned fields in a sidebar directly in Jira. Would that work for you?

Yes, to both! I would only recommend you do that if the JSM customers are internal to your company. Adding external people (e.g. customers) to your site's user base would be a bad idea.

Hi, I thought I had answered this a couple of days back but I probably forgot to save 😅 So, 2 things: * You can't copy formula values via an automation rule: the formulas are not saved in the backend, they're only calculated in the frontend (we do plan to change this later) * However you can copy values from rating fields…

Hi @Natali Mena , Jira Product Discovery doesn't support approvals for workflows yet unfortunately.
-
@Laura Blom to do that you need to remove the "Sort" configuration - if you turn it on then it's going to sort all ideas vertically, based on that field's values. But if you remove it then you can arrange them to be on the same line.

@Bernhard Maier our workflow is as simple as you can make it: pending -> in progress -> done Most feedback goes straight from pending to done: we look at it, if it's interesting we add it as an insight to an idea using the chrome extension Some of the feedback we need to check something or go back and forth with the user…

That's probably because you clicked on "create a new site" Before that step there should be one that lets you select an existing one instead

@Mark Colonnese you can already try it from here!

Hi, are you on the free plan of Jira Product Discovery? If so everyone in the project is an admin by default - which is why the "role" selection is greyed out. BUT they'll only be able to perform creator/admin actions if if they have a product license. If they don't, then they'll be limited to only be able to do what…

OK I think I see what the problem is: * First, you can't use formula fields in automation rules because the value of the field is not stored in the backend - formula fields are just calculated in the frontend today (we plan to change that) * But you are able to use rating fields in automation rules. So if you copy the…

@Antoni Abella Vendrell We still do, for net new things we add to our project that we don't yet know quite what to do with yet - a new trend in user feedback, an idea we think is worth tracking.

Hi Will, I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do: you have an idea of type "initiative", and you'd like to copy the value of its "score" field to each connected idea of type "epic"?
-
@Youri REGNAUD we're talking about this in 2 places: * This section of the handbook * This bit from the FAQ: Set up a Jira Service Management queue to receive feedback from customers and internal teams (and how to set up automation rules to do it)
