that's how we do it: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery/resources/handbook/feedback-and-insights#what-are-insights We have an in-app widget for users to send us feedback, and it goes to a Jira Service Management queue. We then add the relevant feedback to ideas using the JPD Chrome extension. 

Thanks for the feedback. You are correct - the only way to achieve this today is to link each epic to the idea (vs the initiative)

You are not going mad, we did change something 🙂 The "Key" column now shows next to the idea summary. To sort by idea Key (what you call number): * Open the "sort" menu * Select the "key" field You should also add the "Key" field to the view via the "Fields" menu

Hi Lisa, you are correct it's a current limitation. We have scheduled improvements around all this in the roadmap but haven't started yet.

@Lisa McCann we're iterating up a lot of new stuff (hierarchies, cross-project views, etc.), this one is one of the next topics we plan to tackle after that. Nothing you, as a community, can do unfortunately - we can only do so much at once 🙂

@Sarin Kanhirapuzha no update at this stage - we've been focusing on other (also highly requested 🙂) areas. We do plan to revisit this in the future, but not short term.

Hi Ian, the idea creation form is tied to the configuration of a view (that's how you select which fields to show on the form) - it's always worked like that actually. It might be worth moving the view you're using for this in a dedicated section (to make sure no one changes it)? 

Update: indeed, there is an issue with embedded views. We're on it. 

Mikael's right - that's a current limitation unfortunately. We're looking to improve that

Thanks for the feedback Joost. For now we always show the same thing regardless of the mode, but it's something we plan to iterate on. We did try showing the issue type icon everywhere but that was reaaaally busy very quickly. We'll see if we can give different display options.

Hi @Michael Evangelista where did you read that this would be part of the free or standard plans?

@Simon Lafortune @Matt Richards we understand it's not a popular decision with everyone, pricing & packaging decisions rarely are. I'm not sure that the argument "people want this so you have to include it in the standard plan" holds though - I'm pretty sure that, if asked, everyone would prefer if everything was free 🙂…
