You're welcome! Glad I could help. Would you know how to reference project smart values in a script in Automation? ie. project id or key Is this also for a rule being triggered by an issue? In that case issue.getProjectObject().key or issue.getProjectObject().id should work.

Hi @Dan Knapton So you are executing a scriptrunner script withing an automation rule? Smart values are very specific to automation rules. They do not exist in groovy/ scriptrunner scripts even when using the scriptrunner action. Here is some documentation: Execute a ScriptRunner Script you can simply use:…

Great and detailed article. Thanks for this! I especially like the "across multiple external Confluence sites" part :-)
-
Thanks for sharing! Curious about your plans with TechLead :-)

Hi @Lynn Squire and welcome to the Atlassian Community! It's probably better to create a question instead of an article for this. Maybe share the part of the code which checks for the 3 days into the future, it might be easier to build something from there.

Can you reach out to you Confluence administrator and ask them to check the plugin's license? Do you know which plugin it is?
-
The mission control is great to identify content that is not being used/ updated. It helps us to raise awareness about some important pages.
-
Hello! So you do not see anything? No warning or error? This is definitely a plugin. Which one and is the license of the plugin still valid?
-
Hi Alex, If you are still facing issues with something that has been marked as resolved by Atlassian I think you should raise an incident with Atlassian. Atlassian Support

Hi @Zijian Huang and welcome to the Atlassian community! When you search there on the top right and hit enter you will see what Jira is actually searching for: textfields ~ "hello*" This is the documentation of "textfields". It will search for summary, description, environment and custom text fields but NOT for comments.…

A few things you can do to troubleshoot this: Login into the Linux machine: * ping the the IP of Confluence and Jiraping <ip address> * perform an nslookup to the domains of Jira and Confluencenslookup confluence.example.com * make a http request to Confluence and Jira curl -L https://confluence.example.com Other…

I'm afraid I can not answer that question since this would be very specific to your environment. Are you supposed to use a proxy? Maybe you can tak to a network admin. Proxy environments should be located in <install-dir>/bin/seten.sh file if you are on a Linux server. This is a related question that lists the variables to…

Hi @Jeby John A timeout is very generic so it can be almost anything. Are the applications running on different servers? Can you connect to their URLs from the servers? Is DNS resolving when doing so? Maybe you missed some proxy settings?

Hi Meriem, The parameter you are looking for is this one: -Dupm.plugin.upload.enabled=true The parameter you mentioned is related to 2FA.

Hi @Erin Moore and welcome to the Atlassian community! The creation of pages can only be controlled at the space level. You can add edit restrictions on a page but this will not prevent user to create pages under them.

PDFs are meant as the final form of a document. They are not for editing/ conversion or importing I'm afraid. Better to work with the original sources. If you find a decent solution to convert your PDFs to Word you could import the Word documents to Confluence. Import external documents | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian…

If I may add something to this: There are 2 methods for the search endpoint: POST and GET. With GET you need to use the query parameter like you did. With POST you need to use the request body, that's why the POST did not work for you. I can also recommend using /rest/api/3/search/jql instead of /rest/api/3/search. The…

I'm not sure, it depends on what you are looking for exactly. Take a look at what an audience specific page is for: Statuspage Audience-Specific Pages & Customizations | Statuspage If you need one part to be public then you will need a public + private plan yes.
-
Yes they will get an email about it. So you might want to warn them up front. It can be difficult to tell which projects a user can access indeed. I can see why this task is cumbersome. It helps to simplify permission schemes and project roles. If this is something you need to run regularly I would definitely look into the…

Hi @Jeff Young and welcome to the Atlassian Community! Blocking just 1 project based on location is not possible as far as I'm aware of. Atlassian allows you to use an IP allowlist but this applies for the entire Jira instance. Can your IDP reject the authentication when it comes from outside the US? But again, it will…

Hi! There is no page that will list available projects for a specific user. But as an organization admin you can use the "login as user" button to switch to a specific user and check the list of projects as that user. Log in as another user | Atlassian Support It can sometimes be useful to troubleshoot access issues. And…

Hi Indra, The pages are really separate. You choose private, public or audience specific. Each come with their own pricing. When you already have a page you can add a new page. It will be created as a trial and then you can decide to keep it by paying a subscription.

Hi @testcase1062 ! If you are on a single node Bitbucket instance you can just use the bundled opensearch instance. If you have a clustered setup you should use your own opensearch server. See Use a clustered search server with Bitbucket Data Center | Bitbucket Data Center 9.6 | Atlassian Documentation

Sorry! I meant to reply an another post. I'll remove my answer

This script is great. I'm using it today. I tied to use issueManager.updateIssue() instead of miss.store()because the script console complained about it but it seems like the store() method is really necessary.

Time to celebrate!

Hello Kato, Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm running into a similar issue and from what I can see on https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/ui-kit/components/select/#props no events are supported for the Select element in macro configs.

Hi @Retika Saha and welcome to the Atlassian Community, Is this a real question? Can you elaborate please? What are you failing to do in Confluence?
-
Hi Stefan, Thanks for your answer. We import items from an external system. And it is important that the custom field and the issue keys's numerical portion match. The actual name of the custom field is External ID. Here is the working code for the getValues method of a custom JQL function implementing JqlValuesFunction.…

Hi Phil, Those new licensing models are not in place yet. They were announced towards app developers last month. I don't think they are already available for the developers to implement. On developer.atlassian.com I do not see any instructions for developers yet. All I found is the Youtube video recording from the Atlas…
